Hi Sarah and all to come. Coffee is on.

Same in the Midlands, dry and probably not as cold as we have a slight haze.

I see PegiSue came 3rd, 40th and 64th in round one. I couldn't see any mention of when Round two starts. If PS or anyone has an idea then please let me know.

Timmmmmy is having a go with baby clothes

Thanks Roy, I had a good search for info on round 2 this morning I will keep an eye out for it as well. We are off to a champ dog show this afternoon. Paddy is one of 30 English Pointers that are entered, hopefully we can get something.

Freddie them boys are squaring up, I think you will be giving out *'s like candies later. Wouldn't it be fun if delinquents could only post white text on white backgrounds for a cooling off period. Hee Hee.

Have a great day.

Final post I just saw this and wanted to share.

WHY MEN DON'T WRITE ADVICE COLUMNS

Dear Walter,

I hope you can help me here. The other day, I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching the TV as usual. I hadn't driven more than a mile down the road when the engine conked out and the car shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help. When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in our bedroom with the neighbors' daughter. I'm 32, my husband is 34, and the neighbors' daughter is 22. We have been married for ten years.

When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted that they had been having an affair for the past six months. I told him to stop or I'd leave him. He was let go from his job six months ago and he says he has been feeling increasingly depressed and worthless. I love him very much, but ever since I gave him the ultimatum he has become increasingly distant. He won't go to counseling and I'm afraid I can't get through to him any more.

Can you please help?

Sincerely, Sheila

******************************

Dear Sheila:

A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it's clear, check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires.. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the injectors.

I hope this helps,

WALTER

Dear Walter, I feel you failed Sheila terribly by not asking if the fuel guage was on "E".

I have two questions for you:

1. Did Sheila tell you what the neighbor's address was?

2. Why were so many people singing about my brother Don's apparel last week?

Clem

Just did end of the year buying of supplies for my business, glad that is out of the way. Tiffany is on her way home here for four days.

Tribs, glad the plumber is there. :-) Love the white squirrel, never saw one in my area, but I got lots, had to take down the bird feeders in my yard, I got aquabatic squirrels who ate all their food, I swear, they fly from tree to feeder, not a place to put them away from trees, so birds never could get to them. They have unbaffled every squirrel baffler feeder I had. Even put their own feeder out for squirrels, but they preferred the bird seed. Oh well, I am saving lots of money now not buying bird seed and feeders.

Got to get some housework done.

PegiSue, Willy is just what your Mom needs, he is cute, love beagles.

PATRICK!

Sorry I missed the call. I was playing cribbage (with real cards, folks!)at my son's apartment and they were giving me sh*t for taking my phone to the table. I think they would have tossed it out in the snow if I answered it.

Not skunked, but no win.

Debbie B, check out the squirrel-proof feeders from Heritage Farms (http://www.heritagefarms.biz/). We have two of them in our back yard, a 7533 and a 7536, and they absolutely work. Squirrel might get a couple of seeds out of it before it pinches their nose or toes too much, but that's about it -- not the pounds and pounds of bird food they used to abscond with, the little piglets. It's quite entertaining watching them try to get food out of the feeders, but in 2-3 years they have yet to succeed. And that's NEVER been the case for any other "squirrel-proof" feeders we've ever had.

Usual disclaimer -- my only interest in this company is that of satisfied customer who isn't feeding the half dozen squirrels in the neighborhood nearly as much as they used to be fed...

Good Evening Y'all :-) Just caught up here, after a quality weekend with the family.

Love the squirrel pics Tribs, I've never seen an albino one before, and by some weird coincidence I also had a squirrel visit our little Bird house just outside the lounge window yesterday morning...

these are the best pics, through the window

squirrel 1

squirrel 2

sorry for not getting back to the table Kobi, the time spent out with my family caught up and I was worn out by midnight. I am looking forward to a repeat of Friday night soon :-):-):-)

Love the squirrel pics! We had an albino squirrel a few years ago in my brother's yard. Something got it, but he had it mounted.

Wish I had a picture to post, but we have deer, not squirrels that get into the bird feeders.

Roy's got "punk" squirrels!!LOL
That is the cutest thing!!:-):-)

A squirrel took the lid to my bird feeder, but that was all he could get. Now when it rains the seed gets wet. I guess he figured if it got wet I'd have to empty it onto the ground for him. Smart little buggar!!!

I just took Bas to the vet for shots and for the vet to look at his toes before he declaws them. He uses laser surgery, so he won't lose his toes! YAY! Once again, the vet just loved him!! He was such a good boy til they did the "fecal"...mommy got bit! Sorry to mention "fecal" on here, but I haven't seen a hot-flash on here all day and had to throw something in!!LOL

PS, Let me crack you up instead. Just got this from a red neck friend.

'Hello, is this the Sheriff's Office?'

'Yes What can I do for you?'

'I'm calling to report 'bout my neighbor Virgil Smith....He's hidin' marijuana inside his firewood! Don't quite know how he gets it inside them logs , but he's hidin' it there.'

'Thank you very much for the call, sir.'

The next day, the Sheriff's Deputies descend on Virgil's house. They search the shed where the firewood is kept. Using axes, they bust open every piece of wood, but; find no marijuana. They sneer at Virgil and leave.

Shortly, the phone rings at Virgil's house.

'Hey, Virgil! This here's Floyd....Did the Sheriff come?'

'Yeah!'

'Did they chop your firewood?'

'Yep!'

'Happy Birthday, buddy!'
(Rednecks know how to git-R-dun).

Well I made it home and NOT by way of my nail salon. I went shopping instead; TJ Maxx was calling me :-)

I have asked, well actually TOLD, my boss that I will need to sneak out in the morning and go to the salon! He gave me a nasty look which I totally ignored and then called his Mom LOL!

We're doing something fun tomorrow. We're taking our house cleaner out for lunch to celebrate her 30th birthday. We're going to Red Robster :-) We'll have gifts, good food, and cake!!!
She is originally from Uraguay and has no other family here except for her 3 young kids and her hubby.
We are her sponsors so she can get permanent residence status here in the US and felt this would make her smile. She thought we didn't remember her special day!
