Cool thing I was told about recently to track flights in the air - www.flightaware.com. It is a FREE web site that gives you minute by minute info on flight altitude, speed, arrival time, etc.

You can go to the NASA web sight and they track Santa starting Christmas Eve, they will even send you e-mail updates as he progresses across the world. It's pretty cool!

Flight Aware is great ... as long as a pilot files an instrument flight plan, the flight will show up in on the website -- and not just commercial flights. On occasion, depending on which controllers you are speaking to, I've even had my non instrument flights show up ... it's pretty cool if we are flying to visit family or one of us is coming home ... you can track the flight on flightaware and know when to get to the airport ... there is usually about a 10 minute delay in the posting of the information.
