Go for the gusto/high octaine, PS.

Morning Brian, Roy, HH, PS and all to follow this full moon morning. We had a few silvery clouds to frame "our" moon this morning. Pretty.
Brian, I ditto that on the dog show. Good luck.
Roy, enjoy your road trip - drive safely.
HH, Sorry your wife is under the weather. Maybe breakfast in bed is in order?
PS, are you cooking breakfast again? I need some of that coffee.

'Mornin' Linda:-)
DANG! I can tell the difference in the coffee!! I'm gonna be cooking, cleaning, bathing dogs, washing my hair and shampooing the carpet all at once now!!!LOL

G's doing good. Job is rough tho. He's in financing autos, not too good of a place to be right now. But, we're making it. Other than that, it's all good!:-)

I am gonna have to get some decaf to mix w/ this stuff!!

Good to hear George is still making it. It is a really tough time for that industry.

PS, That is how I face each day - without caffeen. It's no wonder that I crash and burn after dinner almost every day.

I just opened the Sunday paper with all it's ads. There's way too many shiny objects in it. I'm being tempted by watches, diamonds .......Terry, take this away from me!!!

My kids tried to get me to go Christmas shopping w/ them yesterday. I couldn't do it, I don't do crowds AT ALL! So, they found boots that they wanted and got them for themselves and I got online and got a few things. That pretty much covers Christmas here. I was really hoping that trees would be cheaper this year than usual. But I think they are more. But my mom doesn't want to put her big tree up this year (fake), so I'm gonna go get that today and put it up here. Then we will decorate it and watch Rudolf and Frosty & Prancer, Kayla's fave:-):-):-)

I have to move furniture if I put up our hugmongis fake tree. I may look for a table top one since it's just Ter and I. Oh and Ashlee. Bet she would tear up the big one if I put it up.

Wonder how Jerry and family are doing. Hope they got some sleep.

My computer monitor is driving me crazy. Everything has speed blurs on the right side. Like all the words and pictures are speeding to the left.
It's only about a year old. I'll have to dig up the receipt and see what I can do about replacing it.

Good Morning all...still not totally up to snuff and have a long day ahead, wishing I had the energy for more....oh well....this morning I'm visiting a local church with Andrea, later Vespers at Moravian where Amanda is doing a reading and in between, a little strolling in Bethlehem www.christmascity.org, which is where Amanda's college and Vespers are....in between that some other brief stops along the way...I'm tired just thinking about it...it wouldn't be so bad if Bethlehem wasn't over an hour away...I'm just not up to snuff yet :-(

and yes, I voted for PEGI :-)

Good morning!

The angel fish needs 6 more points to over take #3!!!!!!! I have done a combination of several votes, several viewings, and a couple of comments, because I'll be gone the rest of the day. So I'm trying to do my part now. I leave comments as a guest, and vote as a guest, and I also sign in and vote as a member and comment as a member. And also vote under Denise's link. I view a lot even if I can't vote yet. I hope the combination adds to the overall score.

The Sunday School Christmas play is today, and then we're going to my son's house. While the guys watch football, the girls will be building a ginger bread house.

Hopefully John and I will get home early enough to get the outside lights on. We haven't done anything yet, so must get our butts in gear this week. Being sick last week set me back, badly, and left everything to now.

Then last night I found out that our Aunt Lil (81) was admitted to the hospital in severe dehydration, renal failure, erratic heart beat, veins collasping so they had to put in a port for meds, and had to restrain her from pulling the port out. She never had kids, is my Mom's only sister, and only has us kids. She's called Lil the Pill for good reason, and has no friends. Anticipating the worse, the timing couldn't be horrible. I have everything to do this week to get ready for Christmas, my daughter is coming home in one week, the weather in New England is horrible right now, and I do not want to go there. I'm struggling with a lot of "what if" senarios. I saw her in August, and we said Aulf Vedisine (spelling) - so do I have to go if the end comes? I hate delimas.

Meanwhile I'll take care of what I can - go take my shower, feed kids, send one off to Sunday School and get the other ready for church to see her sister in the SS play.

Meanwhile, everybody, vote, view, and comment! Let's overtake #3!

Good morning all. It's been an interesting few days. It started Thursday night with Tipsy finding, unwrapping, opening and eating a can of chocolate covered cashews. Well she was leaking badly from all three orifices along with being on speed that night. Then about 10:30 we lost power in the ice storm.

This set off a whole range of new challenges, like staying warm, cooking and getting water. We muddled through and actually enjoyed camping at home. We played cards, read and just hung out. We would have gotten drunk but neither of us were feeling that good. Thanks god for the woodstove and the grill. The other interesting thing was going down to the creak for some flush water. It also interesting that running water does not freeze.

Power came back on last night after 36 hours off. We are actually fairly lucky there's many people still in the dark.

I wonder how Ladonna is during up in Maine, has she been around.

Gail, big hugs to you.

Donna, hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hammerhead, sorry the wife is not feeling up to par, hope she is feeling better soon too.

Made lots of Christmas cookies yesterday, I am now officially done with the baking. :-) Made peanut butter hershey kisses and snowballs.

Brian, good luck at the dog show.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Back from class and I've had my pancakes, bacon and VT maple syrup. Yummy! Now I've got twice the energy to finish my projects today.
We had lots of good music during todays class. I wanted to hop off the bike and start dancing, but didn't want to get kicked out of class. I dance like Elaine from Seinfield. This is what she had playing for cool down and stretch. Whatever!

Love that Justin T.

Hi guys. :-)
PS - I voted 4 times this morning. Didn't quit voting while I was in AL, either. :-) Oh, and Cecil, I shared the power out experience in AL while it was 22 degrees. Good GRAVY I am glad to be home!

It's nice to be home where I can sit out barefoot and sleeveless and watch the birds with my morning coffee. A lucky fisherman on the gazebo had a little blue heron following him around like a puppy dog by feeding him minnows every once in a while. Was too cute!

Things are coming together in my world again, but it was a very tough week. Thanks for the uplifts sent to my family - we needed them!

OK, for some reason Larry decided to trim the hibuscus hedge this morning. I'll go out and help with the cleanup...later.

Have a great Sunday and hugs to all of you!

I haven't put up ANY christmas decorations this year, a first. I think I'm going to just put a little fake tree I usually take to work and put it on the dining room table.

Well done PegiSue in third place and BT'rs for the good work.

Paddy did well 4th in Junior Pointer, 2nd in AV Junior dog and 4th in AV Post Graduate and 4th in AV open dog. Our old boy had a good day watching as we did not enter him for this open show. After all the rain we had yesterday many folks had their vehicles stuck in the mud if they parked on the grass.

We hope tipsy is better soon, have a great evening all.

I am sorry I haven't checked in before now. We did get quite the ice storm up here, but Andy and I were very lucky and only lost electricity for a total of about 3 seconds :-) My office was without power for 36 hours or so....Thank goodness I am able to work from home, so that is what I did Fri.

Sat we spent trying to keep warm as the temps have been BRUTAL, and digging out the frozen plow ridge at the bottom of the driveway.

Been busy all day today making batches of Karen Huff's peppermint bark to give away as Christmas gifts. Everyone LOVES it, and I have been receiving requests for it for the last few weeks.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

LaDonna

Hello BTers!

Just have a few minutes between flights and thought that I would check in to let you guys know that I am still alive - but unfortunately still traveling all the time - with little time to do anything lese but work.

Would love to say the new year will be better - but do think so - as I will be gone at 3 weeks in January!

Want to let everyone know that I do miss them and will try to check in at least once a quarter.

LaDonna and Cecil good to know you guys are okay!

Afternoon everyone!!
Cecil and Ladonna thank you for checking in - glad to hear that you made it through unscathed (Tipsy too sorta!).
I spent the morning working out and laundry (didn't do much of it yesterday). Guy just got home from work - he took 1/2 shift off so that he can go to dinner and the Venice Christmas show with us tonight. I haven't the foggiest idea what I'm going to wear yet.
G is curled up on the couch watching old movies - well, snoozing in reality :-)
All is good in our world.
Hope the same is true for you.

HH, please give your wife a BT hug. We need her to be fully well.
Gail, sorry about your Aunt Lil. I've no doubt that you will make the right decision for the time.
Kathy, glad that you're home and enjoying things.

'Night y'all.
