The weather was beautiful for my walk this morning. 69 degrees and windy so I got to wear shorts and t-shirt. Don't hate me because I have beautiful weather.

Today @ 3:30 is our friends memorial service. It will be teary, but we know he's in a much better place.

Yeah, the misdiagnosis was scary, will be feeling a lot better after I have the doctor I am seeing tomorrow confirm it too. Definitely want a second opinion on that its all good after all that.

Thank-you everyone, the bug is on it's way out, I hope Quinn is 100% (my guess he is but I am still just a wee bit worried about 'accidents').

I am busy baking with Riker. Right now it's Rugelach (for 'show and share' for Quinn for Monday (educational thingie), potluck and some friends who celebrate Hanukkah). Yesterday I made chocolate truffles for Quinn's school concert. (Yes the kitchen has been disinfected and my hands are super dry from all the handwashing...)

Krispi, What is the water temperature up there? We are warm water weenies. Even with my 5mm I am miserable in the colder waters.

I have to find out, for next summer, if "our" Captain Rick is still taking divers out in his 6-pack boat. That was the perfect local diving situation for T & I with no set schedule. He would take only 4-5 people out tops, and only one trip a day so no rush and anywhere we wanted to go.

Talk about weird weather, daughter called, it snowed in Texas a little bit! Very strange. She just finished her last exam and will be heading back home, not here, but in Galveston today. Bad thing is that the heater is not working, brand new unit too, she reported it last week-end and I just called and it STILL is not fixed, they are having a third guy come out today. I told them they better have it fixed today as she will be there this afternoon! Great fun, NOT!

I'm just back from the walk in clinic. After 3 days of trying to self doctor a UTI, I give up. I need an antibiotic. Cost $25 to see the Doc for about 15 seconds. "Hello, I am Doctor Wu. You have a very bad urinary track infection. Take this prescription to any Publix and the will fill it for free." Poof! ER OK........ Maybe that will also help with the lingering cold.

Hey BH, I thought about you last night, it was either A&E or Discovery channel, they had a whole hour on the Stirgus Bike Ralley, Buffalo Chip and all!

Sturgis....looked like one heck of a party didn't it???

They say Sturgis just gets to crowded....a lot of folks say Deadwood is the place to go party....there are a whole lot of youtubes about going to Sturgis.

More than than the bike weeks I enjoy the ride more.....like the cruzin down the road seeing new things and places.....with the crew I ride with we can start a party anywhere.
