Good MOrning Donna and Brian. Been voting!

It is freezing here today!

Everyone is sick. Quinn caught the stomach bug that's going around in our house. Kedron is better. She got her needles on Friday, is very tall and lean for height and weight, healthy etc. Riker still has some tummy issues, but all kids are fine, otherwise. Quinn is staying home today, I can't help at our school anyway as our sitter is sick :-(.

But I am going in to have a quick chat with the teacher, etc. Nothing bad!

Sounds like a wonderful holiday coming up for you Donna! Thx for the coffee Brian!

Oh, Donna, so glad to hear that Andrea will be able to spend some time home for a while.

I am missing my Tiffany and we just made airline reservations for her to come home with us end of December for a little bit. :-) She is taking a winter break course in college, so doesn't have much time. She is glad to come home, was a nice surprise for her too! Merry Christmas!

Yesterday PegiSue mentioned breaking out the chartreuse mini bus. Don't forget to pick me up, too. Let's at least go to the Keys for a New Year celebration.
Actually, tonight I'm going to talk to a friend that owns a house in Key Largo if Ter and I can use it New Years weekend. I would love to start the new year off with a dive. :-)

Brian, thanks for the links! Go kick butt, Paddy. We're rooting for you :-)

Linda, glad to see you and hope you can chat here and there as well :-) Our phones are quiet so hopefully I can clean off my desk and play some too.
I will be rooting for your Bucs tonight; Monday night football :-) The coach is hot LOL!

We had a great month last month despite economics but if it continues to be quiet I may, too, have to figure out how to stuff multiple cans of SPAM in our stockings :-)

Hugs all around.............

Morning Kobi. Good to hear the phones are quiet. The only way I can get my desk clean is to put everything in my cabinet at the end of the day. Hee hee!

Yes, coach Gruden is kind of cute, but he's the kind of guy I wouldn't want him mad at me. Right RA?

Brian - Good luck to Paddy tonight. He deserves #1/gold.

Kathy, you have my deepest sympathy. I know it's been a long, rough road for your brother. I hope his son will be taken care of. Hugs, Gail

My closest work friend just called me in tears. He husband went for a routine colonoscophy this morning and has at least stage 2, possible stage 3, colon cancer. They're admitting him to do a CAT scan on the tumor, to determine if just surgery, or surgery and chemo will be needed. I offered to go be with her, but after we talked a while she said she's fine.

So today I'm praying for Kathy and her family, and for Bubba and Becky to get through the next few days. Anyone else need a prayer? :-( .

On the brighter side, Danielle finally booked her ticket and will be home on the 21st, and go back on the 2nd. A true Twelve Days of Christmas for us!

Hang in there Eileen. I hope the kidlets are better soon.

Everyone else is here by ordered to enjoy your day, even though it is a Monday!

Morning Everyone!
Wow, what a weekend to be awol....
Linda & Terry, Kobi, Kathy, Gail and Barbara so many hugs and positive thoughts for you all. Kathy especially for you - please take extra hugs and care for safe travels.

We had quite the Christmassy weekend and soooo darn much fun - I've got the headache to prove it too! Saturday we drove to Buellton to attend the SWAT team's 1st Holiday BBQ. It was so much fun; great food and I was so proud to be on Guy's arm. The team truly admires him and hopes that he will come back part time.... could happen after he retires from the fire dept.
Then last night we got to spend the evening boat hopping :-) We started out with appetizers on our friend's beautiful sailboat, then jumped onto another's dinghy to cruise around and watch the Parade of Lights and fireworks, then finished on the most beautiful yacht I've ever been on--- omg!! just the floors were amazing inlaid wood - and owners are simply the nicest couple. They own Rockledge winery in northern Ca. and keep the yacht in Santa Barbara harbor to be closer to their son in LA. It was a fun night.

Time to get my arse moving - but it's cold. I tried and tried to convince myself that it's not really - compared to where some of you are... but it's not working --- I'm cold darn it!!

Next to you, on the table, is a ice cold Bright with a slice of lime in it. The sounds of wind and waves makes you a little sleepy and soft cooling breezes are caressing your body from time to time..........................................................................

Wow! Missed a whole lot in a few hours!

Welcome Home, BETTE!!! :-) :-)

PS, good luck on all those pesky tests, my doc just called, got results from my blood work and wants me in asap in the morning. Oh, Oh.... Heck, all this and he probably wants me to take more calcium or D3 or something. What I had going on is now gone, so..I figure I fixed myself, eh?

Gail, sorry about your friend, I hate "C" too, just had one of those tests last week, now that is making me nervous, go for the results of the biopsies this Friday. What is it that as you get older, you got to have all these routine tests all the time? Not liking the 50's age at all.

How sad am I? I stuck my head out the front door and decided it was too cold out --- Costco will just have to do it without me.

This is sure soup weather. Good choice. Wine, no guess here, I am not a wine drinker, if I drink it, it puts me to sleep by the third glass. Sometimes the second.

What is veil?

I am thinking either a Cab or a Zinfandel Jerry,, the Cabernet Sauvignon if you are heavy on the Onions or a Zin if you are heavy on the garlic

Kobi - You cannot talk to everyone like they are one of your girls - sit - stay - LOL!

Feeling better finally. Between the cold and bladder infection, these past 2 day have been like a vacuum. S*cked. Plumbing is getting back to normal (TMI! I'm sure, but life happens. )

Timmmy is too funny. I don't think Angela would wear a bambuska! My German Grandma ALWAYS had plenty of bambuskas to wrap around our little heads! :-) Good memories of Grandma Karkutt! :-) I love her and miss her still, 31 years since I last laid my eyes on her. A special lady indeed.
