So far, everyone in this house has been fed and the pups are winding down from their early morning antics and races

I have to get myself in gear shortly as I am heading to my favorite nursery to grab some fresh greenery. Will toss that around the house and put some outside on the garage & porch lights. My allergies can't stand much of it inside but I LOVE it none the less!

My sister in law is coming to spend the night Tuesday as she has an early morning meeting on Wednesday in a town about an hour north of us. She'll at least get this far to make her drive a little easier.
I LOVE MY SIL!!!! We'll have a nicely decorated, warm home for her to stay in.

Boo Hoo.....THREE of the Shiba pups will be leaving today I am SO very happy for their new owners but will surely miss those little stinkers!!!

Nothing on the Lotto....

The lobsters were good!! But one had died and I wasn't sure how alive it was all day anyway, so that one didn't get eaten. The other two were GREAT!!!! G didn't get home til after 9:30, so we ate them late...I had this great plan w/ candles on the table, open a bottle of wine that we've had (don't know what it is, but it's supposed to be good), some nice island music playing...instead I stood over the stove and ate mine, G got home and did the same thing!! REALLY ROMANTIC!!LOL

I like this roadtrip idea!! I've never been to Key West, only as far as Key Largo. Break out the Chartruese Micro Bus and let's start pickin' people up!!! I'm SO on the way!!!!

You know it's a real sad thing...last week I washed and waxed the Harley, polished the chrome (still need to do the bags and windshield) and yesterday I had to break down and put the trickle charger on the battery....It's so hard to realize that it may be 3 months before it warms up enough to take a roadtrip.....Mercy!!!!

Hi all

We are back, this was a more formal show (Gundog) and Paddy got a fifth in Junior Pointer and a forth in AV Gundog Yearling. Bosun got forth in AV Veteran but caused a few shakes of heads and tutts from some ****heads as they took it way too seriously, but they promised a rosette for all Veterans and at 15 years he still did his stuff and wagged his tail and at least the Pointer owners rooted for him. His breeder was there as well, his litter sister Laby Kaluki was a Crufts Champ - best of breed but sadly now she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We have added more votes for PS and Roy thanks for the other links.

I finally made it to my favorite nursery and did some damage! I love the owners and see them with each new season There was a sign hanging over the register that read, "Your husband called and said buy whatever you want"! So I did

I'm on the home stretch now and all the wreaths are on the windows & doors and the swags are on the outside lights. The trees are decorated and I will NOT touch them again!
Two more packages got wrapped (for Rylan) and now we're chillin' & watching Pitt and my Cowboys play football.

While on my 3 hour shopping tour I had to wonder if somewhere, in that stiff wind blowing, there was stupid in the air. The BIG 3 can surely save monies each year if they'd just STOP installing turn signals 'cause NOBODY uses the things!!! There....bailout solved

It was REALLY cold and windy here today...I did laundry, baked more shortbread, made meatloaf, mashed taters for dinner, and decorated all but my tree pretty much......ahhhh feels good to have relaxed AND accomplished stuff!!

Another late check in today, busy day, man, it is cold and super WINDY here today! Brandon has an indoor soccer game at 8:30 tonight, that just ain't right, who plays soccer at that time of day or shall I say night? Well, I guess his travel indoor team does, that's who.

Went and did the last bit of shopping for my grand daughter for Christmas. Done with all that now. Will be baking up a storm tomorrow all day, got lots of orders in from family. Since we will not all be together, I will be mailing care packages to most.

Didn't get to read all the thread today, but hope everyone is o.kee dokey!

Oh, Brandon made the school basketball team, now he is waiting to see if he is on the "A" team, if so, he will not be joining us in Bonaire this February, due to that darn coach changed the schedule and now the season is two weeks later than last year. So, if on A team, he chooses B'ball over Bonaire. Tough one on mom and dad as ticket is non refundable, but we may be able to use it later in year or something like that for an extra fee of course, doesn't matter as it is not right to make him go if his heart is with the team and he has worked so hard to improve and he says his chances of being one of the "5" who play are real good. So, mom and dad will have to adjust if he makes the A team. Will sure miss him if that ends up going that way, but I will stand by his choice of staying if that is what he wants. Just stinks when your kid grows up and picks a basketball over you. Next, it will be a girl.... Oh nooooooo!

Just got word that the teams are running way behind, almost an hour, so we will really be playing soccer late tonight. Glad it is only 8 minutes away.
