Morning Denise and all who join in when they wake up. Last day of diving for me today. Really have enjoyed the diving this trip, was worried about Omar, but have found out there are lots of sites almost untouched. Have a great Monday, going to wash some salt off my truck windows and get some tanks.

Debbie, it is nice to be able to visualize you there and what you are doing. I can almost hear the bird barking, almost feel the warmth and the breeze. If I could just close my eyes and feel the water as I sink below the surface. Enjoy every wonderful moment...

I'm hoping Kobi is already under and having sweet dreams. After it's all over, she can have a big breakfast!!

Brian - good luck with your business in London.

Debbie - have a great last day of diving! Hope you see dolphins, shark, whale shark and everything else you want to see. :-) :-) :-)

Keep Kobi and Kathy in your thoughts today. Kobi's procedure should go well, and then she'll be enjoying some food and drink! Hopefully Kathy's sonagram will provide her information to put her mind at ease about the tumor.

Otherwise - good morning everybody! A chilly 55 degrees here!

hugs to Kathy & Kobi today. I hope that they both check in when they know something.

OK, I need a dry suit. We had 6 tiles fall off our pool yesterday. I got the tiles out w/ the skimmer net, but there's little pieces of cement in there that will get stuck in the vaccume, that I can't get, UNLESS I GO IN!! I have turned the solar heater up all the way, so maybe it'll get warm... But the high today is only 60 something!! I have to do it. I'M GOIN' IN!!!

Go for it PegiSue!! Just make sure you have a big towel to jump into afterwards.

OMG Grasshopper. That guy must have very steady hands to make stuff that small. It would be hard to display any of his work if you bought it, but on the upside - the display case would small enough it wouldn't take up much space. Just don't dust it!

I'm going to have my big thick robe out there!! I like the cold, but I'm thinking cold when I'm wet will NOT be enjoyable!! I told G that if the pool gets warm enough I may still be in it when he gets home!! I'll be skeered...LOL

That guy IS amazing!

Jump on in PS! Many moons ago, when Black Jack was very old, he fell in the pool in January. I wrapped my rings on the railing to the stairs, but he was going deaf and couldn't hear me. He just kept swimming in a circle in the deep end..... so I did what I had to do. Stepped down onto the swimout and swam over to him and hauled him out. Wrapped him in towels and got me into a hot shower as fast as I could! No heater in those days!

The sun is blasting onto the solar panels as we speak!! It may happen soon:-)
Now, if I had get in there to save something, I wouldn't hesitate...but for pieces of cement and some big leaves, I can hold off for a while! Don't wanna freeze my girlie glitters off!!LOL

Many prayers and good vibes going out to Kathy and Kobi :-):-):-)

Me is a wee bit hungover :-( Too much wine at the neighborhood open house but it was fun. Now I just have to face the music in about 15 mins when Guy gets home.... "no honey I don't want to workout (although I do have my workout clothes on), no honey I don't want to work on the website.... do I really have to run the vacuum?"
He's been planning things all night while at work... I'm just sure of it.

Cripes... 3-4 days :-( We'll be here waiting with you Kathy -- only positive thoughts.

Time to head to Coscto for Rasta Chickens, Carrots and Broccoli :-)
I'm hoping they have a nice Prime Rib --- for some reason I am jonesing for a perfectly rare piece of PR with mmm mmmm horseradish sauce.

Better get something for lunch before we go or I'll buy all kinds of bad things to eat.

Kobi, I hope you and your Mommy are getting in some good time together as you come to.

But Kathy - now you get to enjoy your 50 inch plasma! I bet you payed way less than we did 3 yrs ago!

I just watched the most amazing 7 yr old girl on The Ellen Show. She's like this accomplished concert pianist at 8! She started composing at 3 yrs of age. She composed a special song for Ellen, which she played for her. She played at the White House, and was glad because she got to meet the Jonas Brothers and the President - in that order! She's also composed a song for Barrack, and hopes to be able to perform for him.

Nice pot of chili simmering on the stove. Some shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream to top it off, and will make corn bread closer to 6 when John gets home. I just did a taste test - more chili powder needed!

Did MF ever check in? She should be home now.....

News just stated the Cal fires are still burning - you all OK?

Yep Jerry, the waiting game suckles. :-) Didn't know if we can use the other word!

Gail, thanks. :-) The 50 inch plasma cost him about $900, he said it was a steal. But last night watching it I wanted to back up. So dang big! Will take some getting used to. And one of the things his dad ordered and never opened was a home theater system, so Larry is anxious to get that all hooked up - all those speakers and what not. And the tv is so big it doesn't quite fit right in my entertainment center. I can't take things off balance (my own Monkishness!) Gonna have to work on that or get a new one.

Gonna have a lot going on here this month, and I dunno about anything till my doctor tells me what's going on. But the guy is going to start building our sea wall shortly, so it will be construction worker city here. He's coming Saturday to do a final planning with us.

Have a great night all. :-)

Hugs to Amanda - please remind her that it's just a way of keeping her open for the 'right' thing. There is a reason and it 's not rejection just opportunity :-) HUGS!!!!

We blew threw Costco and were both so hungry we beat the old people to the Early Bird dinner at the local watering hole!!! They have an Omaha open face sandwich dinner that fit the bill perfectly - not to mention strong margaritas.

Now I just have to put the goods away, feed the kids and get the bags packed for the gym and work tomorrow.

The fires are completely under control here but the heartbreak is just starting. 210 homes destroyed, I don't know how many damaged. I'm still trying to find out info on pet fostering. The need is just so overwhelming and just a week before Thanksgiving.
The holidays will be very special here no doubt.

Judy, always good to see you my friend.
Kathy, positive thoughts - enjoy your new home theater. It sounds great!
Kobi, hoping you and your mom are having a great time and all else is just a distant memory.

Okay, gotta get the goods put away before things go awry.

Jammies are calling too!!!

Thanks, Tara...I know...it was just so hard to hear her so upset! :-(
