Morning all Hump day at last.

We have two sick dogs with very bad tums, fortunatley both are now on the mend after an awful lot of chicken and rice. Paddy the pup has taken three weeks to fully recover and a fortune at the vets, Bosun who is 15 this Saturday had it for nearly a week.

I have a day with clients in London today, have a great hump day.

Well folks, a new supermarket opened nearby. It has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.

When you pass the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and you experience the scent of fresh mowed hay.

In the meat department there is the aroma of charcoal grilled steaks with onions.

When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle, and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The bread department features the tantalizing smell of fresh baked bread and cookies.

For some reason, I don't buy toilet paper there . . . .

At home, our store has a mister and it plays, singing in the rain. I have grown to hate that song. Always starts the minute I go reach in for the veggies. No other sound effects on other parts of the store.

Watched the sun come up on Bonaire today. Nice. Making good progress with the house projects.

FOOD...all of it.....also I know my own body pretty well after all these years....I feel much better on a high protein, low carb diet.....but honestly NOTHING seems to work(for weight loss) anymore and exercise sounds like a good idea, but finding the time/energy/location is very difficult where I live and with my work/home schedule....

Today I have to go grocery shopping. I don't think there's any way out of it. I want to get some oil paints too. After seeing that painting of Caymus, in person, I just love how they seem to flow and blend. I bet they are easier, yet messier...such is life!!

I hope Bosun and Paddy get feeling better. And everyone else. No colds here, knock knock, just something in the air messing w/ my nose. I think I'll try that "stop breathing" technique. I've never had allergies, so I don't know...
