Ok, I'm back from my week at the Steinway factory in New York. It was fun...I won't bore you non piano nerds with the details, but the instruction quality at these seminars is so high. Really talented technicians.

RosAnne and I had talked about spending a few days in Manhattan after the week at the factory, but it didn't want to happen this time...maybe next time. RosAnne, it'd be worth the flight for you to see me try to figure out the subway...very entertaining...

I was in New York for the election on Tuesday, and it was pretty interesting to see it from another coast's perspective.

So, what have I missed? How is everybody? Who is where? How are the pets, jobs, spouses, offspring, ect.....?

Terry is home sick with a mean head cold today and probably tomorrow, too. He felt bad calling in sick, but it's his first day sick since February.

Barely! She finally let me pet her Saturday and I could pick her up again yesterday. The little snot! I save her life and she snubs me.

Kitties! They can hold a grudge. Give her some treats and maybe she'll come around.

Do you remember how I cope with Mondays?
No, well let me just say that the GUARDS use to watch me very close. But I found MONDAY-MEDS, now I just float through Mondays.

Hi everyone.

Unfortunately, I'm joining the head cold gang. Sniff......

I have a long list of stuff to do, but no energy. Maybe today will just be a day to chill!

Oh noies - keep your head colds to yourselves. I need a sick day but I don't want to be sick on it - LOL!

Weekend was all about cleaning and organizing. I finally have my kitchen, dining room and family room looking nice and organized. Now it's time to screw it up with holiday decorations - LOL!

changed out the seasonal wardrobe and realize (hold on to your hats shopping ladies) I have too much winter clothing. Time to get rid of some stuff...but not JUST yet. Soon though.

Have almost finished organizing my bedroom but I'm afraid that is a much more difficult task.

Then it's on to the office - I have taken over a space in there and well, taken over is a misnomer - completely invaded is more like it. But that will have to wait until next weekend. We have 2 swim meets during the week and then another one that is Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday and Sunday one is in Knoxville so I'll be staying home with the fur and scale kids.

Oooh - that reminds me - I need to find someone to come feed the scaly kids while I'm gone. Has anyone tried the "long lasting" blocks or what not on freshwater fish - (not the koi - these guys are in a tank).

Ok - I gotta run - have a review in 10 minutes and can't remember who I am scheduled to review. Is that a bad thing???

Yep, pants off & jammie bottoms on as soon as I hit the door. Sadly I worked late so jammies didn't get put on until 6:30ish

I was just not a happy person today. Probably not overly friendly either but I'm over myself now I guess we're all entitled at least once in a while?
Got some good chat time with my SIL earlier via phone and Rob's mom too! My SIL recently found out she has diabetes. Tonight was a support meeting for newly diagnosed folks and she called to share some info with me.
I'm borderline hypoglycemic so am on the other end of the spectrum. She's on FB and we PM each other every day after we do our exercising; we have a pact even tough we're 120 miles apart

Rob's Mom has outpatient surgery tomorrow to address a small bladder stone as well as doing exploratory look/see about a spot on her kidney.
I have soup kitchen duties tomorrow as my team leader is away caring for her ailing father who sadly is terminal. Eeeeek this just has not be a good day all around!

Just back from watching some TV. Kobi, take care. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Good luck with Rob's Moms surgery. Keep us posted.
