Well it is finally Friday and I am soooooo ready for it. While it is a beautiful day here it is supposed to rain - it doesn't look it to me.

Big plans for tomorrow - hair cut and color at 9, planting a bazillion bulbs in the cold late morning and early afternoon and dinner with some friends (don't know exactly who yet) at Stir Fry Cafe. And Sunday will be about getting the pond netting up on the poles instead of just floating on top of the pond and it will all be good.

OK -back to our regularly scheduled Friday - that means work darn it. Happy Day all

We're supposed to get our sunshine back today, and temps in the 80's, but I have a lot of indoor chores I want to accomplish. Maybe I'll trade off, 2 hours indoors, 2 hours in the yard, and then a good book!

I'm on my second cup of tea, and thinking about a couple pieces of toast. I have the makings of an egg muffin, but I think I'll stick with the toast and keep the calories down.

I voted! It let me vote twice for the angel fish but once for the other two.

We're hoping to get the Blazer out of the shop by tonight, so I'll have wheels again. John needs to go in tomorrow and finish cleaning out his office. I have a gathering of old work buddies at one gal's house, just to get us all together again, current and retirees, to catch up, so we need two sets of wheels.

OK gang.....I can't stand it ANYMORE.
I have to share some sad and then some AWESOME news!

Last Monday our little sponsor child, on Bonaire, was hit by a car while waiting for his ride to school He suffered severe head trauma and was air lifted to Aruba where he was stabalized and then further air lifted on to Bogota.
My heart sank when I got that call He's been fighting each and every day with all his might!!!!

Last night I got word that he is off the ventilator, talking & turning the corner. They had to do a trach but he's going to pull through this horrible accident.

Rob and I have been beside ourselves with grief and hate that he's SO far away from us. I was looking into flying to Columbia BUT really didn't want to go by myself and Rob can't leave here right now. Not safe for me to go alone I know; some of those countries' favorite past-time is kidnapping! Although they would NEVER keep me LOL!

Our little fella will be back in BON in 10 days; thank you LORD!
I have had spotty communication with the hospital in Columbia & that's been hard to work around but knowing he's improving makes me weep with joy! Thanks goes out to Renee who kept the channels of communication open with both the Hoppner House and Columbia! Renee, I love you!!!

I wanted to share this with my BT family. Some of you already knew but most of you didn't. The news kind of threw me under the rock and that is part of why I went MIA.

If you have extra hugs, prayers and/or good thoughts I know he can use them and I would be thankful!
