Just went outside without turning on the spot lights and was happy to see there was no s**w on the ground then I realized something soft and cold was hitting my face I want to be someplace warm and dry - waaaaaaaah. Oh, that wasn't a good whine, will try harder later when dealing with the 3-4" of slush that is predicted.

Today there is a bigger hump than normal to survive....and I am not sure what it will take to make it over. SO....I will start by giving away ((((hugs)))) because when you give one away you always get one in return.

I slept better! Got that 2" thick memory foam mattress pad and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I woke up and it was getting light out. That never happens. Maybe I can make it thru the day w/out my siesta! And I won't miss HH!!

Speaking of staying warm, I had to do the layered thing this morning for my walk. It is a chilly 43 degrees - not as bad as what you folks up north are going thru, but it is the start of winter here.
Ashlee Kitty was snugged up to me all night and wouldn't go outside (the garage) this morning. She stayed on top of the back rest of my chair while I walked. Smart cat.

I just don't sleep well. And, for some reason, I wake up in pain all nite long. But only at home... So, last nite we got the mattress pad and all is good this morning.

Well I hope the new mattress pad does the trick. My cat helps me sleep well - big purrs.

The boss is in and I have bunches of stuff to do today. I'll be popping in from time to time to lurk/chat.

I'm pretty sure WHO is saying this, and it just bothers me that someone is so insecure that they must put someone else down to feel good. That is sad

That person who wrote that is a moron, I look at that painting everyday, hey, but maybe YOU should make that painting into a puzzle and sell them, make a million dollars and then see who's the loser... Morning Gang! I missed the memo or I would have worn my Danskin today

I had the luxury of walking to work today All of the stars aligned to make it possible in that Guy was at home (no guilt about leaving Rasta), he needed my car (since his is still at the shop), for once I didn't bring half of the office home with me so I didn't have much to carry. It was a beautiful 4 miles. The first part down through the neighborhood with all the little kiddies walking to school - cute little boogers! Then along the waterfront on a pristine day. Absolutely a blessing.

Last time this happened....Louise was pi***d, Caymus was hiding, and it took two weeks to get the scuff marks off the kitchen floor.

ok, guys...I told you it was a bad hump day.

We just got back inside from evacuating the building for smoke in the waiting room. They THINK a fan belt for the heating system was the cause. It is COLD here, and windy, and just plain YUCKY, and we had to stand outside for 45 min while the fireman cleared us to come back inside.

The upside is we got to stand around chatting with our local fire dept
