Oh darlin, those food hangovers are killer. I am off sugar as of today until Thanksgiving. I did not eat too bad at Jerry's...too much brie and cranberry pepper jelly and Freddie's smoked bluefish...wow that was good. Faith and Dan are vegans and had a lovely rice dish with home grown veggies...wow....Oh and Freddie had a raw bar. EEK..it was good...I am almost a Piscatarian so was so happy.

Ann, glad you had a good time but I'm not a fish lover (as food) AT ALL! We had a Thanksgiving kind of meal at my friend's house...stuffing, mashed and sweet potatoes, corn, Turkey, but the killer was the HUGE piece of homemade coffee cake I ate....my friend's Mom's coffee cake is Phenomenal!!! :-)

Morning Everyone!
It's going to be a back breaker of a day here as G&I and an extra hired hand or two work to level out the ground from where we removed the hedges last weekend.

I had a good nights sleep but weird weird dreams....

Donna, love your pics. Nestled villages :-)
Ann, huge congratulations to Maggie (I don't think I said that yesterday!) --- you two are both beautiful :-):-)

I've got to get a cup of joe......

We had another Best Laid Smith Plans day.... we were going to work in the yard all day but...
we hired our friend's gardener and MAN has he just busted a move!!! He's still here working on the back hill but the man is amazing. He's done it all by himself.
I spent the day vaccuming the ceilings and walls (spider and web season is in full swing) and scrubbing the kitchen. Guy totally cleaned out the garage and turned it back into his workshop.
It feels so good to have the house and yard back in shape.
Now we can shop for plants and pots for a temporary screen from the street below the patio.
Bummer of the Day: we just realized that Guy is on duty both Thanksgiving and Christmas :-(
Good news of the Day: we just realized that Guy is off for 6 days beginning Dec 26th :-) ROAD TRIP!!!!!! I always close the shop for that week between Christmas and New Years so we're going to go somewhere.
This was my first choice but it's booked up
Nick's Cove check it out verrrry cool
It's a little pricier than we were thinking but we're definitely keeping it on our list for a special occasion.

How rude of me.... HELLO Mark!!!!!

OMG Kobi, he's still frickin going!!!! Guy is sacked out on the couch :-)

Isn't that place amazing?!! I love the fact that they've restored the old cabins rather than building new. And the thought of going during the winter when you get to use the fireplaces and snuggle..... yummmmmmm

Watch out with the invite... I watched PS pull it together at the last minute. Now I know how it's done :-)

Thanks for all the pics, on both threads, guys. How much fun!

Tara, I've gone by Nick's Cove a zillion times...it's cool! If you go that way, you'll have to go to The Station House in Pt. Reyes Station...great restaurant. I used to live so close to all that, and I miss it...Pt. Reyes is magical.

Mark, I'm looking at your diving credentials...

Eric is gearing up for a big football afternoon. I don't even know who's playing. Or what they're playing for that matter...

We worked on sleeping late today...big couple of weeks for both of us...went out for late breakfast. I think I'm gonna have a walk in this nice fall weather. And the never ending errands, of course....

Now I want to see the out takes from the NEMM...

You can really impress the boys by telling them that Dallas beat Tampa Bay today 13 to 9 and Dallas scored in both the 2nd and 3rd quarters LOL!

I have them pulled up over my knees since the house is all the sudden 74 F$&*(@# degrees!

I'm like why are you chewing on my pant leg? WTF.....there is a piece of gum stuck to the hem of my jammie bottoms LOL! And my darling husband told me he sometimes has ever SPIT his gum out in this bush in the backyard where the girls hang out sometimes tormenting birdies that hide in there LOL!

Hey Kobi, Thanks on panda. The dogs name is Cloe, but they call her Pookie Bear sometimes. She's a blast to play with. Took her for a slow walk around their area and she must have peed 100 times - one drop at a time.

As far as the world series goes, I'm rooting for the Rays, but we'll see what happens. We are really happy they went from bottom of the barrel last year to being in the WS this year.

Just buzz into the customer service counter, get a new card, new picture and then shop like you're pants are on fire LOL! OK, that sounds like too much.

If you have time to shop you can hit the isles that interest you; maybe the book isle and the appliance or food isles?
Only go in the isles that you really want to.

Linda I'm sure Pookie brings her daddy a great deal of comfort.... definitely the purest form of medicine.

as for Costco... I'm learning that Monday during the day is not a good time to go. I've tried a few times now and OMG!!!! Every senior citizen and I dunno-who-they-are are in that store then.... they push their cart up the center of the aisle at a snail's pace and then leave it there at every food sample spot. It's a huge cluster-you-know-what!!!!
OH and I think they are all eating for the entire day.... it's like Happy Hour without the Happy or the booze!!!!

I love to watch those folks though; I'm a people watcher :-)

They do the nibble, move a few feet to the next sample station, munch and move to the next station!!!
Hee hee....Happy Hour without the Happy!!!

sometimes I crack myself up :-)

Mark what kind of rat? I wanted a hooded rat when I was a kid but mom would only go as far as a hamster! She did admit that rat's are very intelligent. I think I was motivated by the movie "Ben" (showing my age now!).

Rats are actually very nice pets...I used to work in a pet shop...one of the guys used to carry one around on his shoulder. I have had pet mice myself...but no rats

Sorry, my rat is my 10yr old son. He is a good boy but he tests me at times. (Single parent syndrome) I love him so much...

Mark LOL! :-) You're gonna fit right in here :-)

We had a Hamster a few years back that we inherited from an employee! The Yorkies LOVED to sniff and lick that little Teddy Bear Hamster :-) One minute it was fluffy and the next it was all matted. We let it run free a little each day in our living room.

Hi all. FINALLY got back home after leaving Hampton Beach around 9:30.

SKIPPY, because "WE" love them, she made me go to Kittery, then to LL Beans in Manchester, then to Vahmont Kountry Store via moose trail. Really guy, I saw parts of this state I didn't know existed. Lots of extra cars and appliances on porches and lawns, only muzik in them thar hills sounded like Dueling Bangos.

Gonna finish off the bottle of Findlandia I picked up and started s-s-s-sipping on when she was STILL in L.L. Beans and try to sleep.

"Now I lay me......... NO-NO-NO-NO-THE VOICES, MOMMY MAKE EM STOP!!!

Goodnight, Mark! Thanks for messing with us today :-)

Not sure which exact pic you're talking about, Tara. I saw some funny things but didn't dare mention them as I was afraid I'd wet myself LOL! Maybe it's the PIC with St. Louise's hand near/close to/on a certain somebody's something?! LOL
If that's the one; that's just classic :-)

HEY POOT, READ THE CAPTION ABOUT PLASTIC WARE AND PLASTIC PLATES - FUNNY, REALLY FUNNY. LOL Our lovely hostess said that the plastic ware could be reused and washed in the dishwasher, (I DID NOT WASH PLASTIC PLATES, LET'S GET THAT CLEAR) ahem - sorry. Anyway she did not say "The plastic ware should be......" so....... YES I DID DAMN IT I WAS WASHING PLASTIC FORKS, SPOONS... (sorry again), spoons and knives when Jerry (Skippy) noticed. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, the abuse one must endure. ROTFLMAO!!! Hey JerrySkip, come clean here, did you wet yourself laughing over that or what? :-)

POOT, I really love the look on Pam's face in that pic. It's like she is thinking "Ah've traindid him reel gud."
