Well, another milestone down. Wil had his first chemo session today. He did fine with it, so hopefully he'll continue to do okay with them. The prognosis isn't great(6-12months), but you never know. He could beat all odds. He did it before 4 years ago when a staph infection completely destroyed two of his heart valves. Not fair that he has to go through this now, is it? We're still hoping he will feel well enough and be cleared to travel out of the country so we can go to Bonaire the 2nd week in December. When I get to stressed I close my eyes and imagine that we're sitting on our balcony at Buddy Dive and looking out at Klein Bonaire and Lion's Den.

Cindy, you and Wil are in my thoughts. I'm glad to hear Will tolerated the chemo. I'm hoping he does beat the odds, I always put faith in the long shots I will keep wishing that you and Wil get to spend a glorious week in Bonaire, you both certainly deserve it. And I agree, it's just not fair.....

Thank you for checking in. I will continue my prayers that your husband WILL beat all odds. Praying also that you BOTH will, soon, be sitting at Buddy Dive soaking in the sunshine and watching a spectacular sunset.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I finally decided I had to get out of "lurker" stage. I think this is the first time I did anything other than respond to a post!! Who knows, by next month, I might be posting pictures!

Cindy and Wil, I'm with all who have spoken so well already... my thoughts, my hugs, my best of wishes for you both. Bonaire sunsets are in our hearts and yours.

Wil & Cindy, Good luck with the chemo, think positive and do what the Doc tells you.

Been there and done that, Post chemo/radiation 8 years and counting.

Ya'll will be in my prayers.
