Morning, Tribs!

Gail, if you're out there....just read your attempted car break in post :-( People are crazy!!! I'm glad you're safe and your car appears to be safe as well. On the pistol part; we have many but no "license". That's on the list for this year though. I feel I need it as there are times I go back to our office at night by myself and on weekends. Please be safe; day and night!!!
Your paint colors sounds awesome; glad John likes them LOL!

Wow, it's nippy outside. The girls woke me up at 4:30 to do their business and they didn't linger; thankfully LOL! Verdict still out on whether I'll get Rylan hugs and kisses today BUT I hope so!!!!

Hi, Freddie.

Tom, I have to learn this blowing leaves into the neighbors trick. My fence runs interference for me though :-) LOL!

She also applied for a job in Maryland (at NOAA, I think) as another option if the Teach for America thing doesn't work out before going to grad school...ambitious girl! :-)

Ann, I used to have that foot tapping problem too. It is so embarrasing when other notice and mention it. May I suggest:

http://www.tealand.com/Calming_Tea.aspx

Kobi, I use one of the old half pipes left over from the days when I built high end freestyle bikes. The higher the fence, the more I jack up the back of the pipe. Just fire up the Binford 8620 Pro-elite Leaf Chucker™ (available at better power tool stores everywhere, not legal in all states)

sing with me, if you will (Patrick give us a note on the pitch pipe) "SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH"

close enough, thanks

Gonna blow these leaves right onto your lawn.
Will do it when your sleeping or,
when your gone
But I'm gonna

singing while you work, makes it so much more enjoyable, doesn't it.

Hi Jahneeeeeeeeeen:-)

Well, it is only 30 degrees at the moment and I have leaves to rake (yeah right)so,
I am gonna go put on my new ftf (favorite touque forever) and check off one thing on my Honeyyoudamnedwellbetter-Do list. Realized yesterday afternoon that if I wear it, positioned correctly

Morning everyone!

I'm off to feed the ponies and take a walk with the Jingle-boy and get a few pretty pictures before the leaves are gone. :-)

Then... just for fun ya know... I get to drive to Green Bay and go see the lovely Delta people about the severe damage they did to my suitcase on the BON-ATL leg of my journey home last week. It's completely trashed!!!

I've got my eye on a new bag a friend told me about that only weighs about 6# empty and it's made out of BCD material - ought to be tough and hold up to the abuse of the airlines!!!

I'm getting mauled by a couple irritated cats and a persistant collie... I guess it's feeding time at the zoo, LOL:-)!

See y'all later!

Cwap, we're sitting here waiting on a UPS RED SAT delivery package that isn't coming LOL! Called the VERY nice UPS people and got VERY nasty with them. Can they do anything right?!?! Except raise their rates?

My vendor shipped babbitt bearings, yesterday, for this rush job. Delivery was to be today. Tracking info says....."delivery-rescheduled". UM, who rescheduled? Not moi!

Called customer's cell to break news to them; surely I'll be getting a return call and will have to turn the volume down on my cell phone :-(
I better POOF myself outta here and head home. Rylan's coming so I'm still in a good mood. Will have to buy several cases of MGD or Coors for our customer after all this.

I made it to the gym this morning - did pretty good considering I'm still a little pukey.
Guy is on the helicopter today, so I brought paperwork home. Hello LogMeIn :-)

Yeah Rylan gets to take over Kobi and Rob's house!!!!!!

This morning's sunrise was outstanding. I didn't have time to take pics but I'm thinking the sunset tonight is going to be stupendous. There are light little clouds dotting the sky... just a gorgeous day.

PS - I voted :-)

Hello everyone. Been at work, food store, got some nice porterhouse steaks for dinner and other goodies, and stopped for some long sleeve shirts that I "hope" Brandon will wear. Seems that he grew so much since last winter, none of his shirts fit anymore, so try buying cool shirts for a 14 y.o. that is over 6 foot tall. We'll see if he likes them when he gets home, got back and he was gone, hubby is on leaf patrol outside, so I got the whole house to myself it seems. Hmmm, what to do next?

PegiSue, you got another vote.

Tom, too funny.

Becky, nice!

Kobi, enjoy Rylan today. :-)

The leaves here are going crazy. Falling down big time and wind has picked up and those nice warm temps are gone, had to break out the long sleeve shirts. Fall is official now.

Off for a bit

Last night was pretty nice - we ended up sitting out on the patio till after midnight. My friend has worked hard all her life making it up the corporate ladder to the corner office, been a single chick for most of it, always set aside 15% of her income for her retirement. She just retired two years ago --- she's lost over 300k so far (kind of makes me glad that we don't have that kind of $$).... needless to say she was glad that I said we should just stay here rather than going out. Best restaurant in town, now if I could just find those dang dishwashers.... my kitchen needs attention!
Hi Kiwi, Debbie, Denise and anyone else lurking...

PS - you're now a 10 - but we already knew that. Marriage proposal? You've not kept me up on your current status!

Kobi - You've gotten the big boo-hiss award on posting Rylan pictures - so you have to redeem yourself today. :-) I with you on the weedy garden! Two weeks ago my MIL was here, commented she wished they lived closer to us so she could help me with the yard! What was she trying to tell me??!!!! Did it occur to her that her precious son could get off his gaming and do a little work in the yard - NOT!

I've bitten off more that I can chew on this painting gig. I want it done by Tuesday because I'm hosting Bunko, and wanted it to look nice - and the finished part DOES! But I still have to buy the gifts, decide what I'm serving, and clean the house! And since I started painting, stuff is piled everywhere. It'll all come together I'm sure! It always does......

John is at the grocery store buying the stuff he needs for his seafood gumbo tomorrow. He's turning into Jerry, Mr Chef! I'm a very plain cook, as learned from my mom. She cooked for 13 people so never had fancy stuff or used lots of spices, just basic meat, potatoes, or veggies or simple casseroles or stews. And lots of spaghetti! Cheap and it went a long way!

Break is over. Carry on!

LOL I was just talking about getting old to my mom's husband last night in an email. I thought that was a strange thing to say to him but it's true enough - I'm over half way to the finish line.
So it's 10:00 and I just realized that our youngest kitty is still in bed - usually he's out on the patio first chance.
good excuse not to make the bed I guess

This will be my office today (working on Financial Management for the Closely Held Business Oh BOY)
our patio I wish the beautiful sky had come out better - it's really nice out.
And one last one....
I got this plant last week and I just LOVE it.
cook new plant and pot
It's called a Curly Wurly. Guy isn't as crazy about it as I am but... oh well.

Hi everyone. I've been up, out, spinned/spun, shopped and back. Now I'm hungry and ready for a late lunch.

Looks like everyone is having a busy Fall weekend. I can't wait for a little bit of that myself.

Good to see PS back - I voted for your painting a minute ago. :-)
Hope Babs made it to Bon safely and the water has cleared up for her.
Tom, I can't believe you actually wore your touque (sp?) outside. Naw, I can believe it.
PATRICK are things back to normal at work yet? Hope so.
Kobi, I saw those swiss rolls at the store. I smiled, thought of you and walked away. I'll find some other food to be bad with today. Chips and dip I think.
Tribs, poor kitty and go team go.
Cool pic Becky.
Everyone have a nice afternoon.

My current status...oh golly...
Sometimes things happen in life that are very hard to deal w/. Everyone deals differently. Some people that normally handle stress very well, are having a VERY hard time handling it in this economy. And what they need most is not more money to help them, but some support. To know that they are loved & not alone. It will help to get through whatever comes. Knowing that they are not alone is a very big thing. This has been realized my me & by George. So, we will handle this together and know that if we have each other, WE will be ok. Like Tara said, WE will all be fine, we have each other here on BT. G felt like he had no one. But he did. He just needed to be reminded.:-)

I had a very nice chat w/Brother Patrick and my mom.

Gail that's some scary stuff --- I hope hey catch the guy and that he's the only one. Between the economy and meth there are a lot of desperate lost people out there right now.

I'd better get in there and at least get that kitchen cleaned up. Then bills to pay and at some point some book work done....

Hi all, looks like you had a great afternoon. I did too, finished two lawns went for a short ride. Don't worry Jerr, no pics.

Kobi, I hope you have a great time with Rylan.

Beck-ee, hope Delta made right by you.

P.S., WTF?!?! Like en-gayge-ment, wish you well. Now who is George going to marry?

Gail, company that think how your place looks matters, well, they don't matter. GO JOHN, GO!! Gail, my mother was a basic cook, don't know how she fed so many with so little for so long. There were only seven of us but, there was usually a great-aunt (sometimes two) living with us and at times some of our (my bros and mine) friends that needed a place. Someone show up on the doorstep, they had a place. Can still hear Pops saying "Lucy, put more water in the soup and another bowl on the table." Was great growing up in a house like that, wasn't it?

Tar-ah, there is no finish line, don't look for it, don't plan for it, say to hell with it and stop talking "old". Isn't it funny dear lady, that money can't buy the most important stuff.

Linda, I hope you didn't think of me as being a Ward Cleever type! I might mature one day and be more "normal", right now I have too much fun being abbynormal. Oh yeah, KUDOS on the shower, I bet Terry is happier. SLAPPPPPPPPPPP

Ann, thanks for the update. Don't worry, her hair is always like that.

Timmmy - YO!!

Jerry, being a slob tonight, garlic encrusted roast pork tenderloin, twice baked potatoes, and maple glazed baby carrots. Tomorrow I'll try harder (Fluffy will be p****d) Leg of lamb, sauteed green beans with toasted almonds and a simple, spinach/marinated onions/tomatoe and feta salad. Do you think I need a starch? Me neither. Either that or MacDonalds.

Hi Donna:-)

Must go, my little chef in training (Benny) is helping me with dinner so, I have to go learn something from him:-)

"your picture here" or whatever. Those pics are beautiful. C'mon girl, fess up, you live here in Vahmont somewhere. You can tell me, I won't stalk ya - MUCH:-)

Yo Timmmmy, nadda, just felt like saying Yo:-)

Donna, I only took two pics, camera is in one of the saddlebags so Jerr-ee will have to wait until tomorrow.

Forgot to mention, the baby carrots are being sauteed with fresh Ginger - mmmmmmmmmm:-)

Bike is gassed, windscreen is clean, my FTF (touque) is now with leathers so I am ready.

Weather forecast is:

Tonight: Generally clear. Low around 30F. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph.

"Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. High 53F. Winds light and variable."

I hope Fluffy gets over being mad, as I might want her to ride tomorrow as it might only be a balmy 30 degrees when I leave. Gotta do what I gotta do. (it's all part of my not being "normal":-))

Just hanging out tonight, taking the night off, feels good as it is just too cold for me to go outside tonight. IT will take me weeks to adjust to this cooler weather, but bright side, I get to get back to Bonaire and warm up again pretty soon too! :-) But tonight, hot cocoa and snuggling up with my honey sounds better than working.

No fall pictures here, leaves stopped turning and all are just a falling. Some areas of color are to be found here and there.

Tom, on the bike with a balmy 30 degrees, say it isn't so, way too cold for me and I used to ride a sportster in my younger days, you better break out the chap stick and long johnnies!

Beau, they certainly look like postcards!!

Donna, it is nice to see you're relaxing and having a nice weekend!! This is GOOD!!:-)

Ok, so I moved Henry. I always have him in a little bowl when I move him so he can't get hurt. I just put him in his aquarium, and he's not using one of his legs! WHY?? I think he just likes messing w/ me...I really believe that.

I am just hanging out, in my nice clean house, w/ my furbabies all around me. This is nice:-)
I think my mom is happy to have her house back. My animals took over!! Spice and her big siamese, Teddy, both thought they were the alpha cat...that was interesting...
She misses Bastian, who she refers to as "ThumbTack"...and I don't think she meant it in a good way

Beck-ee, we have Dairy-Air here too, miss it when I'm gone. Nothing quite as pleasing to the nose as a Guernsey (Holsteins just can't compete), especially if she has been grazing on clover. ROTTLMAO!!! We are currently working on adding Squid Whisperer to KADUI's other popular and rewarding courses: http://www.victorysports.net/kaduiclasses/

P.S., I didn't vote for you but, Beau did:-) I understand your Mom's nickname for Bast***, Caillou can be a little **** too. One minute purring on his back demanding belly rubs, next minute tearing you up.

I would love to share those carrots with all of you but, the kids ate them all and wanted more. Benny (certified carrot hater) said "cook them like this everytime and I will eat them". The maple syrup glaze won the kids over:-)

Debbie, don't be such a wuss, c'mon jump on and dig the fresh air. No really, heading out tomorrow early for a bit of solo riding then am going to hook up with my Baby Bro (he loves it when I call him that-NOT lol), we are going together to see our Mom then we are heading out with a few others to ride some gaps:-)

Jahneeen, I know, I know. Next time I will wear the blue one with the dolphin on it.

Oh yeah P.S., whisper "Turtle Soup" to Henry, I bet his leg is magically better. Wilbur used to want to be carried everywhere. He would "play" hurt until we caught him at it. Now when he lays down, all I have to say is "Honey, get the noodles." and he is up and running immediately.

Oh, man, Tom...I always wondered what KADUI stood for. I love it. Our joke here is HODA diver(Hard On Divers Association) for all the strutting Coldwater Heros.

I think you better read that fast...it may not stay long....

I have to go to Target and do errands now. RosAnne, I'm scared...I need you!

"CB", read it - puffers are everywhere, aren't they? LOL

Have had a lot of fun with KADUI over the years, and to think it all started in a bar in Miami:-)

Haven't had a real KADUI Certification party since 2003, used to have a blast at them. My favorite: http://www.victorysports.net/kaduinews/

Good night moon.

Great pictures today!! Love them all.
Tribs, glad your team won!!! My Hokies bit tonight:-(

Becky, I about fell off the couch with the "Dairy Air" LMAO :-) We have that about 500 yards from here but somehow it smells like it's in the house alot LOL!
Moo Cow's as Rylan understands them!
Mr. Jingles is a VERY regal, handsome man :-)

PS, I'm happy for you!

Everyone arrived safely late this afternoon. Met Mom, Sis and Rylan at a local consignment store. They bring a lot of Rylan's cute clothes up here to consign; we have a really nice kid's shop.

The house is all quiet after lots of play.
Everyone else is in bed refueling for another day :-)
Heck, it's already another day here on the east coast LOL
