Morning all; a smile to start the day

Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan.
In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.
Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.
While Samurai Bank is soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.
Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff will get a raw deal.

LOL!!

Hump Day is here, and I am a bit confused on the day of the week, we had our Thanksgiving this past Monday. Today is Farmer's Market day and is not going to be run on Wed anymore soon. So might as well and get the goodies.

Good Morning! :-)
Enjoy the Farmer's Market Eileen...why are they closing it?

I'm taking Andrea out for breakfast and then back to school this morning.

Hope everyone is safe. Hugs all around...

Eileen, have a blast! I love a good Farmer's Market. Ours is closing down as well; it's that time of year. Most markets, that I know of, cut back their hours now; tis' the season.

Have a great day.............

Ya;ll are welcome to come and enjoy the farmer's mrkt here, we;ve got one just about everday with the biggest one on Sat morn.
i fell asleep w/ the laptop next to me in bed (while the cat's away...) and turned it on to check out some work I had done and how our island faired lastnight, So now I'm having to type this with one hand because Bob, the cat is busy sucking the thumb on my other hand --- such a strange cat.

Good morning, all! :-)

I'm really bummed about the Omar thread. So much damage to the places we know and love......

I think I'll start painting the family room today. It's way overdue and needs some sprucing up.

Have a fun day!

this is so sad for the island...as you all have heard, Karel's is gone. The Beach bar at Eden is full of coral, they are shoveling it out today. floor boards are pulled up..
The dock is pretty torn up..the boards are gone but not the frame.
so sad.
people are safe I think but the devastation is horrible.

Brad, thanks for asking. I'm doing ok. Hope you're doing good!
I'm a bit sniffly/sneezy/runny nosed due to dang allergies :-( So darn dry here and the leaves are changing so 'tis the season :-( Have been sneezing a bunch yesterday and today; so much so Rob told me to be quiet LOL! Pfffft.

sightseeing of course.

Anyway, Sue is fine and may be coming home today. I told the girlfriend this morning to move out, she's not happy, but she'll get over it.

Here's a fall oldie. Download from there to play, esc to exit, will not play on a Mac.

Kobi, if I was you and I could choose glasses, wine glasses would win.

R.A., have another 40. :-)

HEY JERRY, THAT WEATHERMAN IS RIGHT - SO FAR. Will know how good he is when night comes.

Never got to Bennington, cagers were crazy in the valley so I said F***-it and played mainly in the mountains, got to ride four great gaps:-) Life was great until I checked my cell phone and found out Katie was sick (how dare she). Buzzed home, got my truck and picked her up at the shop. She is fine, just a cold (darn cold ruin my day) gave her a cup of brandy and she is sleeping like a dog right now.

Will post pics, if any came out, the day after I do my trip report from September.

Linda, yes, baby turtles are washing ashore. My friend who lives there yesterday said they found some and took them over to the east side and re-released them. Also, dead mangled fish washing ashore too...that is what just sickens me as well, thinking of all the fish that are dying...

I mentioned on the other thread... one thing about going to a place such as Bonaire after a storm like this... there will be plenty of opportunity to spread kindness.

We went to Puerto Vallarta just a day after a devastating hurricane. It felt wonderful to be able to help out a little and believe me part of that was in keeping their economy going --- more margaritas Por Favor!!!!

Wow, that's random Tara! I love the old Bewitched shows :-) Who knows what else you'll get taped LOL.
This movie we're watching is whacked!

Our DVR had a burp last week then, the very next night, we got an email from DirecTV that it was having a burp. Day late and dollar short but oh well :-)
We still can't watch what we PPV, after a 24 hours though; dangit!!!

My PPV didn't work last time... I still need to call them and get my $3 dollars credit!!!

That's it for me gang. Time to take my snotty-nose and head home.

Thanks for hanging around with me. I totally forgot to check out 'the other webcam' during Omar... did anyone else?

Sleep well everyone and see you in the morning
don't know what this will be!!!
This was us at our Anniversary dinner last Sept 07 at Capt Don's. They did an outstanding job. I hope it fared well during Omar.
