due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

we apologize for the inconvenience.

Still better than an oncoming train.

With my luck the train is still coming, just without a light. Wham!

Bingo, that would be the worse option, a train with out a light, well you know with all the cut backs.

OK wait a second I have an even worse option, you get hit by a train where they could not afford a light bulb, on a stealth train with rubber wheels, that the company brought for a song when the US government filed chapter 11 and had to sell off all their assets.

Tomorrow will be the interesting day, I think....as I understand it, the stock volatility is really reflective of the paucity of credit. Today the stock market was open, but the credit market was closed. So when it opens tomorrow, we should see some truer reflection of the state of things.

But what do I know.....

Of course with many other countries infusing their financial markets too it will in fact be very interesting.

Think about this when you 401 "K"eg goes south....................

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you would have $49 today.

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you would have received $214!

Based on the above, the best current investment play is to drink heavily and recycle. It is called the 401-Keg.

A recent study found that the average American male walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. This means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon. Kind of makes you proud to be an American!.....................You bet....................
