have been busy this weekend with deck building (my son and a friend (construction worker). my son went back to uc irvine cal this sunday. his friend will continue on deck. other one was falling apart. can't wait for it to be done. happy birthday to all that i missed. my trees got a trim last week. they look great. well it is beddy bye time. will check in later today.

Yesterday Andrea and I went hiking in the park near our home....beautiful Autumn day!! The lake is the fishing lake in my community...the waterfall is "Hawk falls" in the park.

Morning Everyone! Wonderful pics, Donna and Tom. Just got a call from my son, he, his wife and my grand daughter are coming over for a visit. Yeah, I get some time with my grand daughter today! School holiday, so he has off today. That little girl brings a smile to my face everytime I see her and since I was working in the yard getting dirty this past week-end, I was unable to hold her, but today, look out, I will be hugging her and holding her till she can't take it anymore.

Off to clean up the house a bit before they get here.

We've got a pretty busy day here. Guy and I have a date - we're going to Home Depot (simmer down, I know that's pretty risque' for this early in the morning!). He's fixing a portion of the roof and I've brought home a load of book work. Then tonight we're all going to our friend's house to give hugs, condolences and the wine for Grace.

WOW, on this sige they have alive cam, and you can see the waves splashing and breaking over the breakwater. I see they have moved all the boats over by the casina, would NOT want to be moored in the harbor right now!

Linda, thanks for asking about Mom's big car outing. It went ok. She was a lot more tentative than she expected, but I think she just needs practice...I'll be back and we'll do it again.

Some of my skiing buddies have gone for new joints a little early in life, having trashed their own. They'e all so much better off with their new ones. Hope that's Sue's experience, too!

Linda, I tune pianos for aliving...I;m the plumber of the music field, but I rub elbows with some cool people, famous or not, in my work. And it keeps me playing a little, too.

So you do play the piano. Very cool!! We had an old player piano way back when I was in single digits. It was fun to play with. My great grandmother had an old pump organ that she let us kids play on - she was deaf by then and couldn't hear the mess we were making. It was lots of fun.

Good Morning everyone.

Sorry I was absent yesterday but somebody decided to break into the trucking company I work for and tried to burn the place down. I spend all day yesterday on site watching over the company until we opened back up late last night. Nobody was hurt but they did a number on the computers and server at the company. Right now we are hoping that the hard drive were not wiped clean from the fire.

Yikes ! Patrick... sounds like an awful day. And, glad to hear nobody was hurt!

We're here...lurking! We are about 60 miles from the fire. No wind up on our mountain , but cold! We appreciate the thoughts!

Evening! Cynde, you find the cutest weenie dog movies. I don't think the first dog knew the person was in the room. hee hee caught on candid camera. Snow puppy was just plain cute, and the weenie in the bun cracked me up.

Work today was ok, wish I'd had the Columbus Day Holiday off, but....It's also my 29th wedding anniversary, we'll do lunch another day since we both had to work and opposite schedules...oh well..

Linda, that first puppy is our momo...when i leave for work in the morning, she does that. All alone. Michael sneaks in and gets her filmed, as soon as she senses he's there, she stops and looks at him like "what?" lol!

Hey all, missed playing here today. To all going through tough times - hugs. To all going through good times - bank em.

Linda, there were ducks, geese and even a few cranes in that field. At about 7:30am thousands upon thousands of geese and ducks began taking off, it was incredible to see and the noise they made was (oh sh*t, Ol Bubbas goen ahl wakkey agin, sheeeit doan saye buuful Bubba pleeze.) er, um, not beautiful (nope) but loud;-). The birds I tried to capture were about a quarter of a mile away most were farther away.

Chuck, you are so right, lots of people don't see the good stuff, too busy going somewhere fast, to see what's all around them. Hoping for good weather Wednesday, anticipating another slow ride with lots of stops during the day.
