I just have to share.... the mother of one of my Lipstickers passed away on Tuesday.
My group met to decide how best to honor her and be a part of her service. Flowers just didn't seem right and food is the last thing a big Italian family (one is a chef no less) needs help with.
I think we did it right....

We purchased a case of Chianti and one of us (a graphic artist) made a special label that we will put on the bottles. We'll present the case of wine to our friends to take up to Sacramento for the family for next week's services.


One of her sons is a very talented ceramist and is making an urn. He'll use some of her ashes in the glaze. And he's making it large enough so that their father can join her. They were married 64 years.

Just an amazing lady who leaves this world with 7 wonderful children as proof that wealth is not measured in dollars.

Anyway... I just thought it was a nice way to honor her.
