Going sailing today, hope there is plenty of wind.

Should I be concerned that I already knew all the words to the Mr. Softee song? I never eat the stuff though, I'm more Karmel Sutra or Fleur de Sel kinda guy...

You have good taste in salt Seb.
The wind up north is brisk, a very good day on the water for sailing.

Yesterday our very own Cynde sent me a vid, some of you also got to enjoy it as well. It seems I forwarded to a friend, he was enjoying his morning coffee as he read his emails B4 going to work, new suit, you know the rest. He's sending me the cleaning bills.

How nice Cynde!

Seb,
If you live up north, your dragonfly was probably warming up. Down here I've noticed swarms of dragonflies lately.

Once we get some more cool weather I can expect to see more birds. There is an Osprey that sits on a wire over a canal on my way home from work every night. He's checking the water below for dinner I suppose.

Nice pic Seb, thanks for sharing. I hope you have a great time today, give the lovely Mare a hug for me - please.

Jerry, what is a snowblower? The bike is topped off, that is all that matters, for a few more days (hopefully weeks).

Chuck, thanks for posting the Riders Prayer. I wish a line like "Please keep the wet leaves in the ditches and off of the road." could be added right after "Let the turning colors of fall keep me warm." Nevermind, we alread ask to be kept safe, guess if we started adding specifics, the prayer would become a book:-) Country riding is peaceful, isn't it? Sunny and fairly warm here today (currently 57), wish I had called in sick:-)

HEY KRISP.... was up most of the night, gas was passed while most of you were still in dreamland. xoxo:-):-):-)

Jerry, we only had one long flight, otherwise it was broken up nicely for us. From here to Hawaii is 6-7 hours. The rough part was from Hawaii to Chuuk because we took the island hopper. We were on the airplane for 14 hours and made 4 stops before finally arriving in Chuuk. Our return was through Guam...Chuuk to Guam is about 1.5 hours and Guam to Hawaii was 7 hours.

The island hopper was the only terribly long day we had. We over-nighted in Hawaii on the way there. And we over-nighted in Guam on the way back. Plus we spent 3 nights in Hawaii once we got back to there.

Next time, and there will be a next time, we will arrange it to go through Guam both directions and skip the island hopper. It was fun and educational once...and only once.

Comparably, for as close as Bonaire is, it seems equally as difficult to get to.

I know it's not joke day but I just got this and had to share.

Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married.

She was admired for her sweetness and kindness to all.

One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room.
She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea. As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young minister noticed a
CUT -glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water, and in the water floated,
of all things, a condom!

When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat.

The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and he could no longer resist.

'Miss Beatrice', he said, 'I wonder if you
would tell me about this?' pointing to the bowl.

'Oh, yes,' she replied, 'Isn't it wonderful? I was walking through the Park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground.
The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease.

Do you know I haven't had the flu all winter.'

Have some other must do testing I have been putting off too, will have to take care of that pretty soon too. Those could mean more surgery, so not wanting to really find out that. BH, he is not missing a leg, but it is way back compared to it's opposite leg - unless he's missing two, on on each side.

Debbie, Karmel Sutra is an ice cream, half chocolate, half vanilla, and a caramel core. Fleur de sel is an ice cream with bits of salted caramel covered in chocolate amongst other stuff.

And the best darn chocolate bar in the world may be a Daim.

Jerry, it was a great day for sailing. Like lazy farts we only put out the jib. We still went roaring out and back, had to do a short sail, my buddy has an early show tonight. Everything looks different on the water this time of year compared to Summer - it's weird.

Good for you Seb. No haze, everything is sharp.
Fall is the best time for sailing, less boats as well.

Kobi, I was letting it go for a bit so everyone could catch BC's very cool stage coach. So...

Yeah, Jerry, we usually sail during the week, fewer boats in the way. I had the helm most of the way. Not one tack, out, about, and back.

I'm not buying that picture. Bulls gotta be like cows and horses, they only go up, not down.

Years ago during Desert song at the State Theater, some reality challenged individual decided the donkey was lonely in the trailer parked on the street, and took it out, and up the four steps from the backstage door. Suddenly there was a donkey off stage left!

Debbie, probably stuff neither of us particularly "needs"
