I am going to see a colleague who is rather ill, picked up an infection after an operation. I am going to take lunch for her. At the moment I am doing her work and my work but I know that the doctor will not let her back for a while. At the moment she comes back to work the day before we go to Bonaire!!! Healing vibes would be welcome for Rosie please. I see the doc 8am Monday.
I am taking a little prawn salad and some mango and pineapple, easy things to eat so she won't have to fuss.

Good morning! A little Friday humor!

A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.

'Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.'

Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's okay, he knows the bank manager.

Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral.

The frog says, 'Sure. I have this,' and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.

Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.

She finds the manager and says, 'There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral.'

She holds up the tiny pink elephant. 'I mean, what in the world is this?'

The bank manager looks back at her and says...

PS, the golf scramble went well. The total has not been determined since the event coordinator was off Tuesday and half of Wednesday, but I think we're looking at $135,000. In this economy that's superior. The event took place on Monday - the day the market "crashed". All the golfers were looking at their Black Berrys checking the news and stock market reaction while playing and during dinner and auction. Ugh!

Yeah, we have skydivers all the time. Our backyard backs right up to the airport. DeLand has one of the best Drop Zones in the world. We have teams from all over the world here practicing all the time and lots of world record attempts, so I sit out there and watch!! One day one of 'em will land on me!!!LOL

WOO-HOO!!! I don't have to work here tomorrow, so am working on the reno project, then Sunday I am supposed to go to Shelburne Museum (unless I can beg off) off again on Monday. I am so happy I could mess myself.

If I can beg off on visiting the museum Sunday and the weather is as nice as predicted I hope to get my younger bro to ride Appalachian Gap then Rt 100 south and ride back over Ripton/Middlebury Gap (similar ride) with me
