All that stock dropping makes me very sad and also a little afraid. What if nobody has the means to go on vacation? I haven't had a really DOWN day for many, many months. And I probably didn't share that here anyway but today was just too much.
Rob did get an email from the gal we let go. It was uplifting and she's OK and I think we'll be OK too. She admitted that she wasn't committed to the job and I admitted that we failed her.
Time to move on and strive to be a better employer and vendor!

Bette, I'm sure things will come around soon! Vacations are something I live for so I will always find a way to get to Bonaire

Bubble's biological brother, Bastian, just scared me! He was kind of screaming and I thought Spice had him. Then he wasn't w/ Spice. The sound was coming from the hard drive and I thought he had gotten in it! He had stuck his foot in it and one of his nails was hung up on something in there!! He's ok, maybe he won't stick his little feet in things anymore...rrrrrrrright...yeah he will.

Hi Everyone, just checking in after a L O N G day! I, along with many of us here had a sad event. A dear friend is hurting and in turn I am hurting. I can't share too many details but I've known her for 30 years and I am trying my best to see the other side (the one where everything turns out okay in the end). I'm taking a deep breath, looking at the smile on my kids faces and know everything is going to be alright in my world tonight.

RA.... Just what I was thinking!

It was funeral day here. And spending the day with Larry's mom during the funeral, the burial, then we went to Olive Garden, came back to her house, and began to figure out what has value and what does not. It was a sad day during the funeral, as nobody loved him as he was at then end, not even his wife, and he looked pissed in death. Scary.

But we got thru it and then the sorting began. And it's going to take a while to have this to a finale. His mom is 73 and wants to live in a nice, clean, feminine apartment near us. Lots to do. The house is like an Adams Family museum. Lots of collector items, eclectic things, and African art???? All kinds of things from when he lived at the Panama Canal, alot of Asian trunks, Samurai swords, the guns (safari and confederate to show you the range of his gun collection), and it's just a mess.

He had two houses paid off for 30 years. And in the last year he took mortgages on both and spent every penny on nothing but junk. A mess, I tell you.

Anyway, good night to all. Bedtime and work tomorrow. xx

I've heard IUD's are dangerous...babies are better! seriously, consider the decision carefully...I've heard horror stories...but then no birth control seems to come without side effects...there's always abstinence..Rob would LOVE that, I'm sure! LOL

I'm reading a brochure as I type. Will look at all options. No babies in this house! FORTY and babies are not good for me

shooot.. I was on the phone with a friend. Her mom is suffering from CHF and had to be rushed to the hospital this weekend. They didn't intubate but it's not good. She's lived a long life and loved the same man for 60 years and 7 Italian kids. They are such a great family.
