Morning Donna and Tom! Slow start today, been working on lots of things here, so was lurking, but I am here.

Got my yardwork done yesterday, so onto the next thing on my To Do list today. Mornings are getting cold here, fall is in the air. Going to enjoy today, as rain is a coming tomorrow big time in our area.

Donna, you reminded me that I have Fall decorations somewhere. I went into the garage and couldn't find them...I do not remember where I put them. I think I'll clean the front porch up today and find my "bale of hay" and my scarecrow and stuff. That may make the cooler weather come faster!

The borders of our lives...great song.

Morning all! We are back, a bit exhausted, but had a great time at the vous. On the way over we saw a grey whale, dolphins, and sea lions. On the way back yesterday we came across at least seven different pods of dolphins...there were boils all over the place...feeding time. I got a couple of great captures of one bow rider...

tom, we had quite a few yesterday...they would zoom over, bow ride for a few, then zoom off. I've got some more pics I need to post later...it truly is my "happy place" when i'm on the bow and riders are zooming beneath me

I had a sea lion buzz me when I was on the swim step on Monday...he came by, stopped right at my feet, turned over on his back, looked right at me...I said "how ya doing cutie?" then he zoomed off...yea...life IS good It's those precious little moments that bring a smile to the face...

Hi everyone, and all you fall lovers. I am completely wet with sweat from a walk, though it is not as hot today. At least the breeze came back!

Ran into spongebob yesterday. It was funny, he approached Larry and asked if were were Kathy and Larry from bt - and he recognized us from our postings here. Funny. He's one TALL dude, too, let me tell you.

Tom, I understand, yesterday I worked with Tyrone and Otis (yes, that was their real names) but we listened to cool music...1950's jazz stuff, very cool. They went to high school together and served in Vietnam together. The stories were fascinating to say the least! I am loving this stuff! I am like a kid in a candy store with my eyes and ears wide open all the time. I think it's time to re-think putting my head back in the workforce. Volunteering is great, but getting paid to do something you love is a dream come true! Off to work I go, I can't wait to see who and what awaits me today

p.s. "Saul" from the Cherry Blossom retirement community told me I had a nice "rack", can you believe it???? I know better than to deck an 80 year old but man, he was trying my patience!

Thanks for the best wishes Tom but the news is not good. I had to go back to the doctors this morning and he has put me on a massive dose of a combination antibiotic. He really is trying to get rid of the infection but still can't see down the ear canal to check the drum. However, he has warned me that the meds will make me feel grotty for a few days. I am also sleeping badly as I keep turning over and waking up because it hurts my ear. I feel like poo! Bob and Oscar are caring for me but I am very depressed.
Sorry folks, I needed to whinge and whine a bit cos I am trying not to do it at home but I know you will excuse me because you are all lovely.

Tiffany is now in College Station, classes started today, we had to get another apartment for her there as it is now for the entire fall semester. Funny, today she shows up for classes and no professor to teach them! Seems he got stuck in traffic, you see, lots of places are still without power on the way to College Station and street lights are not working on lots of the major roads, a bit crazy for sure, but she is fine, thanks for asking.

I haven't really been out of my house for the past two weeks since Ike, time for me to get out and join the living. Not always a good thing to be stuck in my own head too long. Weather here is really nice today.
