Good morning everyone!!! It's a balmy 48 degrees in my backyard.
Will be off to the races shortly. Readying ourselves for yet another work week.

It's White Chocolate Day so get out there and eat some chocolate covered pretzels LOL!
After you eat a healthy breakfast, of course:-)

Good morning Kobi and all that follow. 37 degrees here with heavy dew making the walk to pick up the newspaper...... well, made me miss Bonaire, that is for sure:-)

Hope you all have a great day, I am heading out early to start playing "Catch-Up" at work. Hopefully W.H.N. won't come in and make me turn on the "Open" sign:-)

Well let's see what do I have for Monday:

Kobi glad VT won Saturday

Kudo's to the Gators 30-6 over Tennessee I sat through the whole thing and all I can say is it was "SAD".

Costly weekend
$ 75 UT/Fla ticket (again "SAD")
$175 Cutting deck on my riding lawnmower(someone left a metal pipe in the yard at my grandmother old house)
$ 20 Weedeater head (I guess my son thought you really had to bang it to feed the line)
$300(?) Grandson's birthday (mamaw bought him a new bike, party at my house, and according to mamaw a few things I don't need to know about)
$ 400 Engine light on in my pickup - EGR valve and sensor (not fixed yet)
$??? Tree limb (at my grandmothers old house) hanging over in to the neighbors yard

But you know It's All Good

I have the important stuff and the rest we will just deal with.

Happy ...........day!!!!!
Just complete with that what is most appropriate to you. :-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)
Btw, "Fall", what is that?

Did you miss me?
I know I missed you guys a awful lot.

Sorry for not reporting for "duty"
The only explanation I have is:
1. Busy busy busy
2. Office comp broke down on Friday and was repaired on Sunday.
3. Came down with a horrendous cold on Friday which knocked me right of my feet and kept me in bed until Sunday afternoon :-(
O well, life su**s sometimes but that doesn't mean we have to get all depressed about it! The sun is shining, a few clouds in a clear blue sky, warm temperatures made comfortable by a moderate breeze, Lora's in a nearby tree are chattering, a butterfly landed on my finger, on a branch 2 iguana's are daring each other and I am sitting in the shade with on 1 side a package of tissues and on the other waste bin half full with used up ones while I am sipping a C-bomb. Yep, life su**s!
.........NOT!!!!!!! :-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)

Morning All, Bette I think have your cold as well.

Great Weekend though here in the UK. Two dog shows and 16 Rosettes for the two dogs.

Best one was for our old Dog who got Best Veteran not bad for a nearly 15year old Pointer.

Bosun

The younger dog loved the Fly Ball jumps and got second place for speed.

BH, thanks for the VT congrats. They barely won though and just are NOT playing like they need to to be winners! I was thinking about you as I watched some of your game; was pulling for the Vols.
Sorry about your costly weekend. Sounds like somebody had a good birthday though :-)

Morning, PS, Jerry, Judy and Brian!

LOVE the pics of Paddy and Bosun; good way to start the day!

BH, well said and thank you for saying it. Life is good and 37 degrees only means we have to wear gloves and leather coats - right?:-):-):-)

Returned home late Saturday and was met by my wife at the airport. My two youngest gave me hugs and (as far as I know) haven't flipped me off yet. Was able to share some coffee and time this morning with our employee whose cancer is at stage four. He was given no hope in Boston last week but, just told me in person (with a smile on his face) that he is still positive he is going to beat it. Yesterday I took my sister to visit our Mom and during a very brief moment that she knew we were there, she looked at us and said "I love you.!" Tho we knew this from the moment she gave us life, I can't tell you how lucky it made me feel, just to hear it once more. Ya don't need a lot of money, the best address or pricey fancy possessions to be rich!!!

A dear friend from this board recently reminded me that, yesterday's is history, tomorrows a mystery and today is a gift, that is why they call it "The Present".

Here is one of my favorite videos. Blue Harley posted it first, some time back and I have played it alot when alone and have posted it several times since.

Good Morning and HAPPY FALL!!!

Hope everyone had a good weekend...I had a really nice day at the Bloomsburg Fair and going out to dinner yesterday with an old friend. I'm really tired, but heading into work soon.

Oh...and Happy White Chocolate day, too....I prefer "normal" chocolate, though, white isn't worth the calories!

Okay, since I have a minute.
Saturday the Best Buy Geek Squad dude was to meet me at home some time from noon to 5 to check out the installation site - So . . . . I went to the gym early and worked out instead of doing a class, when and picked up some mo-hair for my new teddy, came home at 11:30.
The Geek dude called at 8:18 am said he would call again before coming out. Noon rolls around, then 2, then 3, then 4:30 and no call. Great!! I call the store and get put on hold for 10 minutes while they try to contact Geek Dude. Terry calls the store twice while I'm on hold. I give up and head out to do groceries and see the Geek van roll by. So he shows up around 5:30. :-)
Vent off.

The Boston Big Dig is finished and transformed Boston into a city with a park running down the middle. The park replaces the very old overhead bridge that cut the city in half. The buildings aside the old bridge was a slum, now rents are $6,0000 to 17K a month.

Please can I have a hug? I have got a very bad ear infection 3 weeks before going to Bonaire!!! My ear canal is so swollen that the doctor cannot tell if it has affected the ear drum and I will have to wait til next week. I sat in the car park at the doctors and sobbed! It may be a cancelled holiday, at the moment the doctor would not let me fly.

My My My.... ya'll is a busy bunch.

Julia <<<hugs>>> in a big major way! World's turn in 3 weeks though let's just hope your ear canal turns quickly!!

I went to Costco this morning for chickens and what did I see...... christmas stuff :-(:-(:-(:-(:-(
I think that should be illegal... at least let's get near Thanksgiving before the fake white trees start lining the aisles. sheeessh.

Tom, welcome home and thank you for the update on your Mom. That was quite a gift for you. And from your friend too. Amazing the difference a smile can make. btw- I've been told that I too give big, firm hugs --- lots of them heading your way :-)

Time to head into the office for a few, then give the Miss a bath. We've got company coming again this week so she needs to be even purtier!

Catch ya'll in a little bit :-)

Hello Everyone! Been busy, but lurking here.

Julia, Big Moose Hugs coming your way and healing vibes for the that ear. Bet it will be fine, do as the doc says and a day at a time, you will be okey dokey for your trip. :-)

Brian, wonderful pictures of your boys! Thanks!

I am making a wonderful dinner for my guys tonight. Been so crazy here the past week or should I say two weeks since Ike, it has been a lot of take out, so I got a real nice filet migon roast, marinated in some dry sherry, onion soup mix, a little soy sauce and brown sugar over night and going to bake it up for dinner. Sauteed some mushrooms for gravy, going to use pan drippings, some beef broth, mushrooms and some of the marinade for the gravy. Mmmmm! Mashed potatoes and brocolli on the side. The smell of that cooking in the oven makes the house smell soooo goood!

Yowser! 104 posts! You guyz are burnin' up the keyboards! Nothin' exciting happing here. There's a new Dancing with the Stars starting tonight.....

John and I finally decided we were way too overdue on taking the rescue diver course, so we had peeps over Friday night for the first aide, and Saturday afternoon to do the pool work. We're reconveening next Saturday to dive our lake for the remainder of the course. Mind you, we've been here 24 years, and have never dived in this lake. Should be interesting. Spring fed, and we'll never know what we'll find!

We broke our own rule tonight, due to the stormy weather, - can't take our walk, so we're having HH! We've been limiting our HH to Friday and Sunday nights, but what the hey - we needed a boost on this boring rainy night!

Happy evening all!

BH, I have plenty enough for a few doubles :-) I swear, if we EVER meet, I'm gonna buy you a few Crowns!!!! Or better yet we'll have them out on the deck here!!!! You were SO close to us last road trip I wish we had been home.

Gail, enjoy your HH. Glad you could share some of it with us :-)

John, the best seat in the house really is in the house often times! Unless you're in the BOX with the the big wheels or on the 50 yard line :-) I'm getting psyched about that game!!!

OK, so the best laid plans sometimes go south. I didn't make it to the store BUT I did make some din din for us! Maybe it's my pre soup making mojo coming out?!?!
Bourbon apple pork chops, green beans, salad AND gin and sprite's :-) Ate on our deck and it was awesome. The girls even had a few green beans minus the I can't believe it's Butter :-)

That sounds yummy, Kobi. You and Debbie cooked up a storm tonight! I had the second half of my lunchtime sub, and John made himself a talapia soup......

I'm cooking a goolash tomorrow night, and am using ground pork. I've never tried using ground pork before, usually ground turkey, so it'll be interesting.

Good night KIV. I saw Cloris, and she was funny. I'm DVR'ing the show, cuz John is catching up on football. But I caught her just before he wanted to change the channel.

Hey BH - Tell the wife to not tell you what the grandkids cost you! ;) I never tell John! :-) And they both got new bikes this year too! And a great party at the bounce house place! :-) All he knows is that they're happy and they LOVE their grandpa! ( $400. in all!) My secret! And did I mention that they LOVE their Grandpa!

Good night all!!!!!!
