We are off to walk around the north end of Boston, do some eating, drinking and people watching.

What are you going to do?

See you later.

Morning Jerry! Have a great time in Boston - it's been decades since I was there last.

I'm at work this morning trying to catch up with the heavy work load. On my way in I saw a Bald Eagle knee (do they have knees?) deep in water by the side of the road. Since there was no traffic I pull over and watched him till he flew off. No camera, but how lucky am I? After stopping to pick up coffee I saw a wood stork and a rosette spoonbill all pink and pretty. :-):-):-) I like working in this area.

I am now determined to get a camera with muucho zoom and take it with me everywhere.

Good Sunday Morning Jerry, Linda & Everyone Else Popping In :-)

Jerry - sounds like a fun day......Boston is so pretty & lots of sights :-)
Linda - that's very cool on all counts! Is it a swampy area or wooded where you work?
Les got me a little pocket-size camera with a decent zoom that I take everywhere with me when I walk.....comes in very handy & not bulky or heavy.

Les will be finishing a refresher course with the Fire Dept. on Rescue Diving. Thurs. night was classroom, Friday preparing, Sat. & today diving. Going to watch for a while then either go to the beach or the park with Millie.
The park is beautiful & has lots of hiking trails and campgrounds. A part of it even goes along a beach so we get the best of both worlds :-)

This is from our walk a few days ago

Good Morning! We are still fogged in but it should shape up to be a beautiful day here. It is supposed to heat up this week and be in the high 90's by Thursday. It's been in the low 80's and so nice!

We have a local art and wine festival going on so we will head down there later and people watch and maybe even have some wine and buy some art.:-)

I wish everyone a beautiful day.

Morning Everyone! Taking a little time here to check in. We have Tiffany moving to College Station today and tomorrow into a new apartment to finish her fall semester at school. I will be seeing Brandon play a travel soccer game in a little bit today, but after that, I am going to just try to relax, been one crazy and hectic week here. Thinking about doing some gardening, that always relaxes the mind and body for me.

Have a great Sunday! Weather here is beautiful today. :-)

GOOD MORNING guys and gals!!! Lazy, beautiful day here today. Got up at 5 AM and then snoozed a bit more 'till 9ish.

Rob loaded the trailer & left early this AM to head back home to ride on our farm with his brother and brother in law. Woo hoo....I have the day ALL to myself; well me and three Yorkie girls :-)

Our hometown is about 2 hours south of us and Rob got about 21 miles away and called me! Seems he forgot his wallet! UGH...soooo...I plop Bubbles in her X pen, tell the girls I'd "be right back :-)" and hit the interstate. Thankfully we don't live far from the on ramp so off I flew in my Subie :-)
Gas light came on just as I got to our rendezvous point so gave Rob his wallet, filled up my car and back home I headed & onward he went.
Don't expect him home before late tonight. He needs to spend time on our farm, with his BRO and BIL and he will meet up with my sister and Mom too. I would have gone BUT don't want to leave the girls for that long; not right!

I'm going to continue the theme of clean the closets today; especially since Rob's gone. He can't say NO!!!!

Morning Kobi. Your day started off with a bang! At least you'll accomplish closet cleaning today. Don't you love it when you can toss or donate what you want to without "supervision"? I don't know what goes thru Terry's mind when he puts empty shoe boxes back in the closet when he puts on his new shoes. I find the shopping bag and empty box and go WTF??? I'm sure there are things I do that make him say the same thing. :-)

Debbie, I'm emailing you directions to our house; somebody needs to weed and then re-mulch the front yard LOL! :-)

Linda, Patrick...sorry about the work gig!

Jerry, have a blast in Boston!

PS, hope you have a great, sunny day down there. Good luck with the fishies for Henry; he might really enjoy the company!

LOL, Linda :-)
Funny how we all have quirky things we do; I guess :-)

I'm looking forward to getting into Rob's closet as there are things just hanging there that he hasn't even SEEN for a few years. Same is true for me if I was telling the truth LOL!
My new motto has to be; if you don't wear it within a year donate it. We have a place called the Mercy House and they sift through and take their really nice things to their retail store. Silly thing is I shop at their store on occasion LOL! Hope I don't see some of my stuff there!

Don't feel sorry for me working today. Extra $ and nobody to bother me while I accomplish tons.

When I get home I'll download the pictures of the prints my boss gave me last week. She was cleaning out her office and ran across two beautiful limited edition prints someone gave the foundation years before she came on board. She thought it would cost too much and didn't have the time to have them matted and framed for the golf auction next Monday. I was the lucky winner. :-):-):-)

Uh oh.....don't tell him we helped with your motivation LOL!

I better bust a move and see what damage I can get done while there is peace in the house. Bubbles is outside, unattended, not barking so probably into something. Yesterday she was quiet and I went down to check on her and she had captured, tortured AND killed a mole! UGH....the joys of owning terriers :-)

Will peek back in a while or when I tire of shirts, pants AND ties :-)

The octopus was using a shell to protect himself for those darned damsels who were giving him HECK!

This morning at Ol Blue we got some good shots of a turtle with a tarpon. Nice dive again.
Last night, we did the Sunset Beach to Bari reef spot. The old dock from Sunset is a wonderland of critters and corals. Will post some of it later. Also, 16 squid were there in a line!

Great shots, Kathy!!! Thanks for sharing.

Well, I've finished tackling one side of the closet; Rob's side. He's still gone so I really should go and pull out more things while there are no extra eyes around :-) I made a dent and will run those things out to my trunk shortly so as to avoid any discussions later!

I'll be glad to unload those at my donation point tomorrow. Found a few items that just made me giggle. They were every bit of 10 years old; it was quite a flashback moment!

Watching the last 1/2 of the race now and the girls are napping. They're tired from watching me work :-)

I have made it back home...not by choice tho, we had TOO much fun!! At the last minute we turned left, instead of going straight and into Orange City...so we went to DAYTONA!! I haven't been out in so long and when it came time to turn into the PetCo, Kayla asked "Do I turn here?" I just said "NO!! Keep going straight!!" So we went and drove down A1A all the way to the inlet. We went past the house that my grandfather built, where I used to go all the time when I was little. Just drove and had such a good time, talking and looking at everything. It was FABULOUS!!!!:-):-):-)

We did stop at PetCo on the way back and I got Henry some fish!! They are so cute. He isn't afraid of them, and went after a few, but that didn't work. He's still so little, and they are fast!! Give him time, he's gonna be havin' some sushi!!!!:-):-)
I'm working on a design for a tattoo for ME!!!! How funny is that???!!! It's a sea turtle, but w/ Henry's head!!! A little Red-Earred Slider Hawkbill or somethin'!!!! I love it!!:-):-):-)

I actually just found a few sweaters (Rob hates sweaters), then found some nice button down dress shirts and other shirts he NEVER wears. They were waaaay in the back of the closet so I know Rob has NO clue they were there. Now off to the trunk of the car I must go....fast!!!!

And now the day is almost over.
The last day of Summer and on to a promising Fall :-)

We've had a lovely day here. A friend came over for Quickbooks help - took most of the day but I did AP work while she worked on QBs.

Linda, glad you're home safely. LOVE the prints. I'd say you done good in that dept. for sure. I wish I had your energy, Linda!!! I would have torn another closet up if I did :-)

Rob pulled up, from his trip, and I had just finished unloading the dishwasher :-) He asked what I did all day?!?! UM, well, uh, I did 2 loads of laundry, folded said laundry, cleaned out the back wall of YOUR closet and got a NICE pile to go to Mercy House! he didn't seem phased thankfully. Also tidied up our Bonaire closet in the guest room; re-arranged the luggage, etc. Hope he doesn't figure out how to log on to BT or he'd know I'm fibbing about doing ALL that stuff :-)

Ah, Evening folks. Brandon's team won their soccer game and I got the front yard all trimmed up for the fall. Tomorrow the back yard.

Hey Kobi, I did get to my huge walk in closet in our master bedroom this past week-end, I got 12 bags of stuff I,we, don't use anymore. Over half is going to our donation center tomorrow and there is still all the hanging clothes to go through, that was just one side of it. That should be good for at least 6 bags more. I couldn't believe all the shoes/sneaks I had that were so old and not good anymore, not worth even giving away they were, but lots of clothes, heck I even found old dive booties, old fins from over the years too.

Tiffany has made it to College Station to a cousin of her dad's who showed her the campus, huge it is, said the Eagles could play in their stadium, it is so big! Then she tried to get back on her own to find where she had to go on Tuesday, but got lost, oh well, tomorrow is another day and she will get the hang of it, this campus has over 48,000 students enrolled there already, with another 1500 coming from Galveston. Phew! The place has to be gi-huge-ic!

Good news, she moves into her apartment tomorrow, and by the goodness and generosity of Pat and Jim Eggler, she has a complete bedroom set, table and two chairs, plus a young girl who I talked with on the phone at the new apartments is giving her a futon/couch! Unbelievable and we are so touched at everyone helping Tiffany get settled in for the next three months. What a week this has been since Ike came through. Yes, Ike was evil, lots of misery he brought to lots of folks, but there is still good going on too, the news tends to dwell on all the bad stuff, yet no one hears of the all the folks who are pulling together to help others. Tiffany is very fortunate to have some wonderful new friends in her life now too. :-)

Debbie, isn't it amazing what we can hide in a closet LOL!

SO glad Tiffany is settling into her new environment! Will continue to pray for her that everything falls into place; sounds like it is well on it's way.
Congrats to Brandon on a great, winning game!!!! You had a great last day of summer!

We're getting geared up to watch some football again! Cowboys at Green Bay. Seems like, this weekend, I've spent a good bit of time yelling at the plasma. So here I go again :-)

I need to check my fantasy football team/league and see who's stinking. I was ahead as of this Friday woo hoo!!!!!

Debbie, thank you for passing on the good deeds that are being done for Tiff. I know Pat and Jim are just doing what comes naturally to them but they deserve the acknowledgement :-) :-) HIP HIP HOORRRAY!!!!!

Sorry to post and run, a friend sent an email that wanted me to sign a petition to stop Congress from giving Social Security to illegal aliens. Only problem is that it's an old viral email and still as wrong as it was in 2006!!! Thanks to Snopes and FactCheck the truth is but a click away :-) :-)

Kobi, I wish I had your energy... I really need to clean the hall closet but instead I shiver at the thought!!!!

Linda, you're energy is just unattainable for me :-) :-) You are an inspiration though!!

Jerry, how was Bahston?

Patrick, I'm so happy for you.
Boston was a gas. We ate to much, drank to much, and just had a blast. I found my new rehab, will post tomorrow. BH will love this place, jello with meatballs.

Have a nice evening kids, cigar and Caymus time.

Dang, I had to edit my postie too LOL! Figured nobody would get it if I left mine there :-)

Hey, I still have NO rice cooker so how bad do I s**k? My girls aren't starving but it would surely make their meals a wee bit varied. Other issue is I don't have a big food processor; just a wee little one. Might do small batches :-) This is just wrong LOL! We're going to Costco this week for work. I need to buy it and quit running my lips about it :-)

Randy, you make me laugh. I know I'd like Lynda :-) Maybe you could set up a new user on Lynda's computer then you wouldn't interrupt her settings.

60 yard touchdowns are totally FUN!!
