here, hope yours is the same.

Another day of diving, napping, etc. in order here. First we have to finish cleaning up the mess the iguanas made yesterday:-)

Be well, you sleepyheads.

Good Morning Tom! You mean you didn't clean up your mess last night?
Have a great dive and nap and dive and lunch and nap. .. . .. . . ...
It will be sunny here in my part of Florida today. It was sunny and 95 yesterday. I'll see if I can get Terry to mow our weeds today while I vacuum, dust and gather kitty hair. Then we'll see what kind of fun we can have the rest of the day.
I'm off to the gym for some torture. Later!

Bon Dia all, a rainy dreary day in New England. We are very happy that it's going to be dry and beautiful all week, just sucky on the weekend.

Nice pictures, Donna. You have to love life in the woods.

Tom skip the naps and dive more, you lazy commie from Vermont :-).

Nice woodsy photos there! It looks so inviting. Happy diving to all of you on Bonaire!

Everyone is wet, but they will all survive. I'm hoping the storms did not cause too much damage in the wildlife world around here. We usually get in a few animals after storms. We will see what shows up in the next few days.

GOOD MORNING BT PEEPS........

I am hung over from a long (6.5 hr.) drive home, from the beach, yesterday! Had a WONDERFUL time with my family though; I am blessed. We enjoyed FABULOUS weather despite Hanna's quick pass through Wilmington, NC last Saturday!

This trip was a gift from Rob and I, to my family. Everyone had such fun that, as long as our play money replenishes itself, we will make it an annual thang :-) EVERYONE enjoyed each other's company, the accommodations & the weather! Rylan was a great little 13 month old niece and provided PLENTY of entertainment! She was really fun to watch in the surf and in the pool. I promise to share photos once I can sift through them :-)

Ate some awesome food (sea and turf!) and us gals got in some serious retail therapy :-) I LOVE Wilmington and Kure Beach area of NC.

Here are a few highlights but will share more later on after catching up on BT :-)

* Sister has wreck last Friday PM prior to Saturday AM departure. She and Rylan were OK. Car? May be totalled! She, hubby & Rylan arrive at beach later that evening; SAFELY in a rental car!
Cost? A few wrecked nerves and time!!!

* Saturday night (day of arrival) our Mercedes G500 had a hiccup & burp while Rob and I were out to dinner!!! Sister and hubby were not there yet but thankfully car was able to be driven back to condo.
OFF to the 'Cedes dealership we went. She spent 3 days in their shop getting diagnosed & finally had new wiring harnesses and a few other things replaced. Cost? $886.30

* Shared a relaxing vacation with my hubby, my Mom & stepdad, my sister, BIL & little Rylan at a beautiful beach condo with NO internet access and limited cell service :-)
Cost? PRICELESS!!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone :-)
I'm sorry I couldn't pop in lately --- I ran out of hours in the day while getting ready for company this weekend.
We had a nice time with our friends. They got here Friday morning and headed out yesterday after squeezing in as much as possible in 6 hours!!
Jerry, you would be soooo proud of Guy --- we had an amazing dinner of grilled lobster tails, bacon wrapped filet mignon, grilled asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and corn w/homegrown red peppers. Dessert was simple -- thin mints :-):-)
dinner with friendsGuy did GREAT!
It was just wonderful.

Patrick thank you for the phone call and passing on that I was okay - you're a good BFAMAAF.

I'm glad to hear that Tiffany is okay - we kept checking in on Ike and then that horrific train wreck in LA. I can't wait to hear the BT stories of heroism --- we are a good bunch!

All of the sudden the house has gone from full to empty as our friends are gone and Guy is back on duty.... should be a quiet day for me and Rasta and the Boyz.

I drove home, yesterday, so Rob is feeling reFRESHED today and wants to ride his dirt bike! This means I have to ride along with him in the newly spa'd Mercedes up into the mountains :-) My bike is at our shop so no dirt biking for me; I'm still whooped from all the driving anyway!

I does feel like forever ago! We always take a vacation in July or August, and nothing this year.:-( I just really want to go somewhere. Well, I want to run away from the real world, and I guess that's not too grown up. George is back to 7 days, open to close...so we hardly see each other again. I hate that.
Of course we did go again in Nov. and then I went in February...but still!!!

Randy yes that was me, it was our normal local dive in York Beach Maine at the Nubble Lighthouse. We been once since then and we are in need of some nitrogen. Maybe next weekend.

Jerry since I have a new pile of dirt in my front yard that I am not going to move, I probably will not be by. Although I do profess a love of cutting timbers, something about running a chainsaw (I do wear a goalie mask).

Ugh! We just lost our fox rehab cage. A tree came down on it. :-( The good news is that there were no foxes in rehab. :-)

I don't know how the people in the hurricane zones deal with this. We aren't getting even a fraction of the rain and it looks like a war zone around here. One of the car dealerships is completely under water, the Men's Warehouse is sandbagging, several main roads are closed - and this is just rain! Not even a hurricane. To all of you who live in those zones, I wish you much luck and a ton of patience. :-)

Thanks for the updates Patrick!

OK, Rob got overruled. It's flippin' hot out there SO no go on the riding! We are veggin' and watching the plasma. Mow boy is mowing as it was a jungle when we got home and I could hardly see Miss Bubbles :-)

Boom, gentle hugs to Bob. I hope he's better VERY soon. These furkids stress us so at times, ya know??!! Bits hadn't been herself and I was worried while we were gone. House sitter said she snapped back right after we left and is OK now; stinker knew we were going away!!!
I am going to schedule her for some blood work to give me peace of mind.

The condo at the beach had no internet service and cell was kinda spotty. I had to go into the sun room, off of our master bedroom, stand on one foot and chew gum to get a signal :-) Our business was BUSY while we were gone; they had LOTS of emergencies. BIG work too so Bonaire bucks were being made while I was beaching it :-) That's awesome!!!

Get this though. A few days prior to us leaving our office copier took a poop (it was almost 7 years old though). THEN the NEW toner I put into the fax machine, less than 3 weeks ago, decided to quit working!! Called my office supply chick and told her; it was replaced at NO charge. Something always happens prior to a vaca it seems; at least with us LOL!
THEN....computers took a poop while we were gone. I got that phone call early Monday morning to start the week off! Thinking maybe some corrupt files. My comptroller, who writes our programs, worked on that; THANKS be to logmein though so he could do that from 120 miles away in our old hometown!!!
I don't believe in Karma but, if I did, I'd swear she was after me LOL!!

Computers are still not working as of yesterday when I peeked in the office for a few. Will address that tomorrow. Will be starting my day off just peachy I am sure :-) Trying to be positive BUT..........another get away might be in order!

Tribs, sorry about Ike remnants causing havoc up your way! Stay safe and dry as best you can.

I am glad no furkids were injured with the tree falling :-( This storm is going to affect many millions of people by the time all is done. I hate this time of year!

Morning all! Seems like we are all good and well on BT this morning?

Boom, great pics...we need to come up for a Saturday overnight...maybe in November? We loved that B&B we stayed in last year...could be fun? Like how I am inviting myself up to your house? I just love your patio...but the friends are even better...lol...

We had a busy day yesterday, West Marine was very generous again with donations, then we did some shopping for more door prizes, and the regional manager gave us HIS discount...boy were we surprised...I was like..hmmm....we need to do some more shopping...Michael slapped me and told me to not take advantage...I thought we would get a 10% discount at best, but when the tally was done...man...neato! The vous'ers will be very excited about all the gifts this year.

then we went to have happy hour with the owners of the restaurant (and also a tug, hh on their tug) to finalize the plans...they are donating all the booze and bottled water...

then we had dinner with other friends of a tug...whew...it was fun, but we are exhausted...now we need to lay the haul on the floor and count the numbers...i think we may be done...

ps, yes, bas pics...and glad henry is feeling better.

welcome back kobi...

Great to see everyone back today.
My buda belly and Terry just got back from Best Buy. Yesterday we bit the bullet and purchased a new HD system for the living room. Over night Terry decided we needed to do the same for the bedroom, too. Once he gets it in his head he needs something I might as well just step aside. :-):-):-) It will be nice once installed. Another good note is that all the Best Buy Rewards went to my account. I'm thinking new camera.

We should start a BT Budah Belly thread :-):-)
Cynde you and Michael are always welcome! We definitely blew our wad (simmer down... I'm talking $$) on that meal. I don't think Guy will let me do the shopping anymore! But we hadn't seen our friends in over a year so it was worth every penny. That lobster tail was so big I couldn't eat the whole thing.

Tribs :-):-):-)

Fat B&&tard

He sits in our living room LOL! I love him though and he's almost 2.5 feet tall. His name is in the pictures.
Bubbles didn't like him when she was wee little; me thinks she was skeered of his belly LOL!

Welcome home KIV.

Wow! CC just woke up didn't it? Hey Kobi, we are finally getting a Costco. I just saw the building yesterday. It is about 5 minutes from my house. :-)

BC, glad the shopping went well.

Boom, any chance your kitty got a hold of a spider? I had one that was allergic to spiders and she loved to hunt them. Everytime she caught one the eyes would water and swell up. We started keeping a stash of children's liquid benadryl on hand for her.

Ooops....I forgot to say this before - way to go on nursing Henry back to health. :-)

Hey Linda! I have no idea what Sasha was thinking, but she does that often. We have to be careful in the morning when we get up because if she is not on the bed, she is sticking out from under it and we don't want to step on her.

Is Ashlee's nose black too? I love cats with cool nose colors.

Did Bette just tell us she has internet at home now? Come on Bette, knock off the diving, hanging out with whomever is on island and come chat with us!

Jerry...did you find someone to help with the yard work?

I'll just put that trick into Word somewhere then when the system crashes I won't be able to retrieve that either :-)
