Good morning everyone
Patrick, let's leave Jerry sleeping and I'll moderate! :-)
I'll do breakfast. Let's see, full English, sausage, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, porridge, kedgeree, devilled kidney, fried bread, toast marmalade. Just don't expect lunch tomorrow.
Today I will be checking the medicine box getting ready to go, 33 days!!!

Kedgeree: spiced rice, smoked haddock, hard boiled eggs, onions and sometimes mushrooms. I could find a recipe if you want. Makes an excellent supper if you are out all day as it can be made up earlier and heated through in the oven later. Bob makes this at our house and uses tinned salmon instead of smoked haddock.

They sure do Patrick. I don't understand why they don't eat pig things all ground up in fat, then thickened with flar en butter with a dozen eggs served alongside of or, on top of hockey pucks made out of more lard and flar. HEART ATTACK, I THINK I AM HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!!:-) Don't know why either.

Julia, I will just take a bit of the porridge, fried bread and marmalade please.

Didn't sleep much last night, dang pillows kept attacking me:-):-):-) Wonder if it was something I ate. Nah, must have been barometric pressure.

Off to dive Karpata - ohmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

CYA:-):-):-)

Oh yeah, has anyone seen my socks?

Funny thing that is, Breakfast. It's the foremost important meal of the day and we make usually not much of it.
Actually the British are the only people I know who do understand the breakfast important meal concept. They love their big hearty breakfast. :-):-):-):-):-):-)

Tom, enjoy Karpata! We won't be doing much today as it is pouring out. We were supposed to release fawns, but the weather is too bad. That's a big ugh as they are huge eaters. :-(

Randy...they tend to find us! LOL! We have 16 in rehab right now with a little over half being old enough to be released. The amazing thing is that we got a call for an "infant" fawn. Of course we are going to take it in, but we have to keep it away from the big fawns. We are all amazed that there is such a young fawn this time of year.

That is good for you to take them in. We take in cats, 2-8 a year, they somehow find our home, I take them to the vet, get em fix, and then search for a good home. Sometime hard to find!!!

How nice of you to do cat rescue. They are really hard to place. We just do wildlife and refer out the domestics. Of course every once and a while we get a domestic and do our best to place it, but they usually end up with one of our volunteers - so we really try to avoid domestics as we are all pretty much full at home. :-)

Tribs, I have never seen a really young fawn this time of year, in south arkansas. I start seeing fawns here in mid april thru july, making me think that not all doe's are bred during the peak of rutting. My youngest girl is studying to be a vet so I am sure I am going to get educated before long!!!!!

Free shopping sounds like a blast. Have fun BC, but don't over do it! :-)

So...I disappeared because I had to go suck up the pool forming in our basement. Thankfully we have a steam cleaner that functions as a wet vac. Looks like we need to call a foundation person as the little leak has become a flood. :-(

A. It's his time of the month.
B. He's on his way home.
C. His ear is still messed up.
D. He ate donkey thinking it was chicken.
E. His flight was overbooked again.
F. He's sad to return home.
G. Tom put something in his pants.
H. But he likes it!
I. Timmy wants to change his name to Jop.

Okay, let's go over all of those.

A: Nah. I may be wrong but he doesn't strike me as the TYPE!
B: That would be a good one, but he is still here.
C: Another good one.
D: That would be quite a chicken, so nah.
E: Yep, I wouldn't feel very fresh either.
F: I would be sad too. Oh wait, I am home
G: That could be anything but I will refrain from further comments
H: Hm...what I just said.
I: Now why would he do that?!

The possible answer could be:
Messed up ear is sad to go home on a over booked flight......................

Well that sums it about up

I just got back from chores, grocery shopping and mohair shopping. The only place in my area to find mo-hair (besides what the cat leaves all over the place) is this little place: http://www.countryquiltsandbears.com/index.html and there wasn't much there today. :-(:-(:-( Looks like I'll have to shop on line.

Linda, do you have a site where I can see all that you make?

Bette, Thanks for asking, but no. I only create when I feel like it and they usually go like hotcakes. I will take a few pictures of the few bears I have left and post them later. How's that?

Have you been busy at work today?

Do you have the internet at home yet?

HUGS

Hey Tribs, good to "see" you!!!!

Tiki is doing fine although, due to the high temperatures, she shedded a lot. LOL Linda, you could use what Tiki shedded for at least 3 mohair panda's. I will try to post some pictures of her at home. She had such a nice thick tail do you remember Tribs. It is still nice but just not as thick anymore :-( O well, when the temperatures drop (as far as they can drop here) it will grow back again. We have no AC in this house, so that's why she didn't shed earlier.

How are you doing? How is the "indoor swimming pool"?

Don't worry, Jerry. We are just window shopping. If you want I'll just pm Bette the links to the pictures.
Besides, I don't have enough self confidence to self promote. :-)

Tink, you owe me big time. I am eating every fry on my plate just for you. (dang, I almost believe that myself)

If anyone knows the number of an exterminator, I left the back screen door open this afternoon and this place is full of iguana. They are messy critters I tell you what.

HEY DEBBIE, IS THERE A LONGER GARDEN HOSE HERE?!?! Iguana doo-doo stinks (ackkkk-gag)!!!

CYA (aka "POOF")

Linda spent some $$$$$$!!!!!!

Glad Kathy and Larry made it safely. Geoff too, I hope.

I'm sad that we've not heard from Debbie B. I hope she's in touch with Tiffany and all is as well as it can be.

Smack and Tom are having too much fun!

Safe travels, Timmmy!

I read a quote today that reminded me of Jerry. "I always cook with wine, and sometimes I even add it to the food." W. C. Fields

Have a good night, all!

Hang in there Ike people! This weather is just nuts. We keep sucking out our basement pool, not fun as we have more rain coming. And Bette, I told you he was CUTE! :-) Glad to hear Kathy and Larry made it safely. Night all!
