How was your week-end? Hanna came and went through, now we got the sun out again. Just saw that darn Ike now going towards Texas. Egads! Two close ones to Tiffany. Ike is causing all sorts of problems where it has gone through already. Hope this is the last hurricane of the season.

This was me at Sorobon, I was waiting for the kids to get their windsurf stuff from Elvis. It was too darn hot not being in the water. I look so lonely but I was actually very peaceful and enjoying just spacing out!

We were the only ones on the beach for a good hour and a half, it was so sweet!

Last I heard Andre's dock was under construction. I got this from their website.
"Bonaire Dive & Adventure will be doing maintenance on their dive dock, so dive boats will depart from the nearby Harbour Village Marina. Free shuttle service will be provided for the short 2 minute drive to the alternate dock. The Bonaire Dive & Adventure pier will remain open for shore diving."
Looks like it's still a go for shore diving.

Dinner's on, shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta twirled into bird's nests, and a loverly salad. Yum, it's Bertoli. lol

I have to tell the girls about Acai berry extract. It revs up metabolism and makes you fill full (not hungry for BREAD) without any side effects. Except, well, um, it makes you more regular than ever? lol Don't buy Oprah's expensive brand, get it at Wal Mart for 3.78. It works.

Larry's just now home, dinner's ready, sunset's coming on...time for the people in this house to do our stuff. Eat LIGHT while catching up on news, relax with a drink at sunset, then WORK IT OUT baby, lol, then maybe a nightcap followed by water and taking care of our skin before bedtime.

Bonaire on Saturday! 2 weeks. Can't wait.

LOL Jerry, I have them all over my body...the dermatologist said she thinks it may be from the changed pain meds...that's the only thing different. She didn't think it was the steroids...I also need to have more basal cell c's removed from my forehead, but she said "you have WAY too much going on right now, let's wait a couple weeks" lol...

But on the good side, I got my birthday present today...Got rid of my marionette lines! I've been wanting to get a filler for them and get rid of them for awhile...yeah!

Sorry to hear about your hives, I get itchy just thinking about hives. Been thinking of getting some procedures for some things myself, I keep thinking I am being vain though if I do, insurance doesn't cover any of them.

Hey, Debbie, if I had the money, I'd have the whole dang unit overhauled. This horrifies Eric, but I told him that he's gonna come home from a camping trip some day and find me slightly purple and sporting that look of permanent surprise the newly lifted seem to adopt.

Cynde, I'd be to hear what all the dermatologist said about your allergy as well as hives.

They once made me put a cream on daily for six weeks that removed abnormal skin cells, especially from my lower lip, where the regulator wipes the sun screen off.
At the end of that period, Eric didn't want to eat in the same room with me....eeesh, I looked like the Mummy, unwrapped. Very good for my business image, I can tell you

CB, Gregg just kinda looks at me when I start talking of doing it and he tells me he loves me just the way I am, well, that is really sweet, BUT...I also know he is thinking about the $$$ I plan on spending. Glad I am not the only one thinking about it. Hey, I know a guy who had used that cream on his face, he was a biker and worked at the P.O., I went in to mail a package and I asked him what happened to him, his face had this red mask look from where the cream was, seems he got too much sun riding the bike to work every day over the years, and he was like yeah, this will all go away in so many weeks, but I won't get skin cancer now. Now, his face is looking good. Not sure if I could go to work in public like he did though. Didn't bother him at all.

Debbie, I have a feeling I may do more..my BFF has had her forehead wrinkles done...I don't think it's vain, my marionette lines just always bugged me cause i look angry all the time...she asked if i was thinking of anything else...I'm like "yea, i know i need a lot more, but lets start with this." I say if you can afford it and it makes you feel better about yourself, go for it. I was trying to walk around with a fake smile for awhile so the wrinkles didn't show and Michael wanted to know why I was making a face all the time...haha...

CB, did you have Carac treatment on your face? I had that, it's the liquid chemo stuff....my entire face was one big blister...looked aweful!

Debbie, when I had the carac treatment, I went to work, but they didn't want me there and a lot of coworkers couldn't look at me.

When I got home today, I asked Michael if he noticed anything different about my face, he said "you got those wrinkles done!!" he was happy, he loves me the way i am too, but knows that they really bothered me.

Sorry, I was off frying eggplant. The stuff they made me smear on was called Effudex. I used to scare the crap out of people when I'd ring their doorbell.

Here is an example of what a prince Eric is: Since it was mostly on my mouth, I had a terrible time drinking anything. Once in restaurant, I was trying to have a glass of wine with little success. Eric got up, talked to the waitress, and came back with a straw for my wine glass!

Could be worse

Mrs. Turtle has had a FLAMING RED RASH - face, neck for about a week. Then she starts getting High fever AND, to top it all off - neck spasms!!!

Finally went to see the doctor today. Doctor listened, looked, and said "Get to the ER!!!"

Karen was in the ER all day - blood work, CT Scan, etc.

Well, they can't explain the rash. Bloodwork and CT Scan said there was nothing major to worry about (WHEW!!!)

Only thing that showed at all was some weird thing called Hemolysis - apparently the red blood cells are rupturing / dying faster than they should.

All in all - a fun day - NOT!!

On the bright side, Miss Holle is doing quite well!!

Got that not fresh feeling??? Picked up some stuff today that might help - It's called Natural Solutions - Cat P and odor eliminator!!!

Only problem is you put it on thick - as in totally saturate the carpet and underpad stuff, and then you have to let it dry naturally. Should take about 2 weeks, give or take an hour.
