GOOD MORNING!!!

Not jealous of those on Bonaire, nope not one bit! :-) Can't wait for pics!

Hope all is well, I am so behind on everything. Busy getting everything organized for when we leave.

Here is our kidlet photo from Sept. 03. The boys were goofing off the whole time and Kedron does not suit her shirt... she is ready to play in the dirt...

1

Sorry no underwater pics, can't wait to see some today!

Eileen, the kidlets are sooo cute! Kedron is getting so big! Thanks for the pics on this site, since I can't go on Facebook anymore! When do you leave for Sardinia? Can't wait for Bonaire pics, either, from BTers! I feel like I've lost track of everyone since I haven't been on for so long!

I get to do lunch then Eileen! Today you can have Free range chicken, mashed potato, yorkshire puddings with onion gravy, peas and broad beans. There is also some apple puree which could be turned into pie or crumble. Eaters can choose.

My BGF has started to get things sorted out after the burglary. Cars had electronic codes so they have been changed and all the locks on the house have been done. The kids have stopped crying and have slept the night in their own beds with just a night light on. I wish the bad men (substitute your own words for them here) could see what they did to the kids, even though they are 12 and 14 they are so distressed.

We have had some bad flooding here. Bob and I were supposed to be camping but we did not have an ARK so stayed at home. If we don't go next weekend that will be the last chance of the season because we will be going to Bonaire in less than 6 WEEKS.

Hi everyone Eileen, Susan, Julia, and those to follow...I hope you get to go camping Julia, and I'll be happy to join in that delicious sounding lunch!! :-)

It isn't raining here right now. I have to take my Mom grocery shopping after church. Hopefully it will hold off or just go away...she will be drenched if it pours because she doesn't move very quickly anymore. :-(

Sorry about the flooding Julia. The rain they predicted did not happen yesterday at all and it is pretty sunny and clear right now. Hopefully they messed up this afternoon's forecast as well. :-)

Eileen, Love the kids picture! :-) They are just growing up too fast, slow them down, will ya? I'm feeling old today! Hee. Hee.

Pegs, Hope Henry is feeling a bit better today. Big turtle hugs to him! Where my Sebastian fix today? Though I thought Calypso was funny too yesterday with the captions, made me laugh.

Julia, stay dry. Hope ya get to go camping, will keep my fingers crossed for ya.

Freddie, Did ya get to dive yesterday? Was thinking about ya. :-)

Judy, Hope Celine Dion (sp) was good! Nice to get away for a mini fun week-end with friends! :-)

Hi everyone. :-)
I don't think I even got on here yesterday, was a full day. We went to the FL Aquarium then went out to a bar for a friends birthday. Was a fun day. :-) Except the shark section was closed for renovations. Oh well, we'll take the kids and grandkids in October and it will be ready. Best thing is, we get in free. :-) Perk of being a TA.

Today, I've got to start MY packing. Larry's done. My problem is I wear the clothes I'm taking all the time! At least the gear and his part is done.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday. :-)

hi gang
got home safely sat. from bonaire. what a long day. had to take my daughter to target when i got home. she needed a desk lamp and a new chair.

bonaire was fun. hubby and son tried wind surfing. said they had great time but winds weren't there and made it more difficult.
were the downtown cams working when i was there? 8/23 thru 9/05 tried several times to see if my picture was by remax but no pictures came up. i had on black shorts and black giney-t. heavy set, blond hair in pony tail , and 5' 2" tall and in one picture my son was with me. he is 6' and lanky.

Randy, when I checked on there the other day the cams were "stuck"...I think they need to do some work on them. It's not you, it's the cams...
I think...

Tribs, YGM:-)

I'm waiting for Kayla to come over today...we are gonna lay in the sun w/ Henry, and hang in the pool, without Henry!! Why do our children hit that age where they must sleep REALLY late??? Doesn't she know that I'm impatient?? Geez!!

I hate when I make typos!:-(

Good morning all! Well, school has started and soccer so we are busy, busy, busy!

Eileen, that picture is adorable!

Julia, your brunch sounds delicious! Can we join you?

Since we have been home from Bonaire (11 days) we have had temperatures over 100, they are supposed to break today and be in the high 80's. The kids played their soccer games yesterday in over 100 and came home drenched. Some coaches called the games at half time but not ours :-(

FOOTBALL SEASON IS IN FULL SWING! YAHOO!!! :-):-)

Go Raiders!!!

If any BTers get to the UK you are always welcome to have Sunday lunch for real. We once had a lunch that lasted well into the next day! Bob gets wine and beer by the case and I usually bake fresh bread so there is plenty of scope for good sandwiches later on.

Hope you all had a great Sunday.
I got to do a shore dive this morning. The first since Memorial Day.

I left home @ 7 and drove south about 65 miles to my friend’s house. We packed all the gear in her vehicle and headed to Bradenton Beach and the Sugar Barge wreck. I’ve done this dive twice before and we found it once. Being only 65 yards from shore visibility is usually not great. Today we had around 15’ vis, but we never found the wreck. Instead we did a sand dive, and found about 500 sand dollars about as bid around as a soda can – normal size, and several of a larger variety about as wide as my hand stretched out. I might add that the sand here is almost like hour glass sand – white and fine.

After we decided that finding the wreck wasn’t happening, we turned north and just enjoyed diving and any little thing we ran across. Since there is no reef we checked out urchins, crabs and other creatures that live in those conditions. One area north of the fine sand was made of crushed shell and had more to look at. We saw a pipefish, two searobins with little legs in front and bat like wings behind the legs. I though I was watching an urchin in the process of decorating itself with a piece of shell and found the shell was a small slender file fish snugged up to the urchin. Also found a little puffer around 4” long. They all blended in to their environment so well.

No pictures today. I didn't want to cart around the video, and I don't have a housed digital still camera. That is my next big purchase.

You know, I REALLY AM having a good day. I feel more like "me" today than I've felt in a long time...that's scary

I just got pics of Spice cleaning Sabastian. Then they were playing! That is really odd. Spice does not like ANY animal. He likes Calypso, but he keeps Calypso in his place. If Calypso is too close to the kitten and he's growling & hissing, Spice runs up and attacks Calypso!!! He loves this kitten. YAY:-)

Here's one I just took...
Sabastian

They were actually PLAYING! I couldn't believe that Spice would lower himself to play w/ a kitten...but he did. Then he was cleaning him! I can't figure out if Spice likes him because he growls & hisses at Calypso, or because he knows he will get kitten food when I feed Bastian...whatever the reason, it's nice to see Spice LIKE another animal!:-)

Mom is doing ok. She has some hard times, but mostly she's ok. I'll be sure to give her a BT hug tomorrow. She gets on here and lurks sometimes. She hasn't come over here in a long time, so she's only seen the kitten on here!! So, MOM, you need to come over!!!! I love you!!!:-)

George wants me to tell all of you that I ate all of his Whoppers and Milk Duds. There, I told you, maybe he'll stop whining now!LOL
And they were really good too!!!!

I don't think there's any cat nip in my purse, I'm not really sure what all is in there. A bunch of useless stuff that I may need one day! Like the Bright bottle caps...or the business cards from every place on Bonaire that I've been!LOL

OMG! He's polydactyl!!! How cool is that! Are you sure he isn't a Key West kitty???? Are all of his paws like that?

Yes they are!! I never even noticed it on his back feet, til now!! My mom told me he was a "Hemingway" cat...
I've never heard of "polydactyl"...

Your mom nailed it! The cats at the Hemingway house are mostly, if not all, polydactyl (extra toes). It is caused from in-breeding. Now the question is, if you have him de-clawed, does the vet charge extra??? Hmmm...

I just looked up "Polydactyl"...that's pretty interesting. He has definite "thumbs" and uses them. It's funny how he wraps his toes around things. If he keeps it up w/ those claws, I may just rip 'em out myself TONITE!!! No, I wouldn't do that, but I wonder if they do charge extra?? Something to ponder...:-)

He's got almost 7 on each foot. There's one pad that is almost separated into two.

Thank you PS!!!!
He's so teeny tiny!
I like Bastian too! The right name will stick - we never expected to keep the names Rasta (she came with it) or Little Guy (it was just what we kept calling him).

Jaci if you jump on -- I know it must be hard but we do love you :-) HUGS!!!

PS...my uncle had a 6 claw cat...he was cool...

I have to tell you, that the pics of sebasco, spice, and calypso have helped my recovery in making me smile...a lot...i just so enjoy the pics...and the antics/stories...yes, i am on a voyage of vouyerism...lol...so KEEP THEM COMING!!!

...so, i had two new rashes show up a couple days ago...

they put "leads" on you when you have surgery. on friday, the day of the surgery when i got home and went to put my pj top on...the "surgical" cap thingie...you know..the blue thingie...was half way down my back and stuck to two of the "leads" on my back they didn't remove...it was sort of funny...so...i had michael take them off for me...

a few nights ago, i awoke to my left er..."breastes" itching...so I am grabbing itching, and there was a lead stuck to the lower left...er...you know...breastes...lol...i pulled it off in my sleep, now i have a huge rash there that is moving up the arm...go figure...i was talking to my BFF in San Diego, and was like "how in the hell could i NOT know there was something still stuck to me after four days????"...good god, it could have been a fetus or something...LOL! i attribute it to the fact that i was in so much pain, i didn't notice or feel anything...LOL...

Cynde, that sucks. Those people are morons.

PS, I'm so glad Tabasco/Sebastian(Bas?) is fitting in. That cat won the lottery when it ran into you.

Tara, my mom and I are watching it. My mom is a big time tennis fan, and we've been watching on and off all day(go Serena!).
