Eileen, do the boys have boxing gloves? Poor Quinn. Riker should know better than to pick on someone who had a rough day a school - the stained shirt an all.
My husband was up at 5am for work so the cat thought I should get up and feed her. She was Zooming around the bedroom making noises to wake me up.

I am talking to my self. That's okay. I'll do that while working on putting together some video clips of Bonaire. Then I'll be heading off to the gym for two classes today. Tomorrow I have to skip class and be in Sarasota by 8:30. A friend and I are going shore diving if the water is not being kicked up by Hanna or Ivan. I'll bring my boogie board if it is.

OK, Henry is sick AGAIN!!!! His eyes are swollen, which is caused by numerous things. I have read everything, I have him in the most fantastic set up a little turtle could want, WHY IS HE SICK????? I've called the vet, she's going to call me back...so I'm waiting. I have him back in his little infirmary bowl on the heating pad w/ the heat lamp. I'm waitingggggggg.....

Oh, and I think Tabasco has a new name. I keep calling him Sabastian for some reason
I don't know how that happened, but he comes to that name, so I think he's Sabastian now!! George says that Sabastian Inlet is one of the roughest in the US...that's fitting
I'll let you know tomorrow if it changes again.
I have pics and I'll get to them later. Promise!!

Morning all! Good call on not diving Windsock when there are waves there. Someone I know, who shall remain nameless, tried that earlier this year when all of that wave action was going on in June. It was very very ugly! Tsunami smack down was what it got nicked named.

Tribs, back in 2003, Kelly and I dove North Belnam and I got "knocked down"...crawled out...and as I was covered in sand...crawling...a topless young beautiful woman headed toward me...boy, did i feel..."frumpy" lol!

Man, I loved the kite pics. I never understood the attraction of kites til I bought a miniature kiteboarding kite, just 1.2 meters, to see how they flew. It's so much fun...

No one to play with? Darn it! I haven't had time to play lately, and I'm just enjoying some coffee before I pack up and go back to my mother's for a few days.

Jerry you were right... I'm almost feeling myself Guy got a kick outta that one!
I even went to the gym this morning, albeit a much toned-down workout.

Guy is out on the helicopter this morning covering for a missile launch at Vandenberg AFB. He was like a little kid, he was so excited to get to go. I'll see if I can find a link. The launch is supposed to happen in about an hour. The fog is just starting to clear so hopefully I'll be able to spot it.

CB, should be a pretty drive down the coast - nice weather today.

Not too much for me today. We have company coming next weekend so I'm just going to plan menus and putter in the yard.

Tara, we were stationed at Vandenberg when I was a kid, and I remember so many launches from then.

I had to stop on Kwajalin(sp?), where all those things are headed, and deplane while they refueled...go through military security just to go in their little lounge and use the vending machine. I got a kick out of seeing the launch from the other end...

Kwaj claims to have the biggest dive club in the world...not a lot else to do for folks there, and lots of wrecks. I'd love to join them. Have any of us dived there?

Timmmy's Angela grew up there too! What a small world, huh?
Guy says the launches always start a few brush fires along the way so the helicopter crew goes up after to put them out. I'm so glad he's getting to experience it.

Thanks for asking, Tara. I'm gonna go find out...she will lie to me if anything is wrong....gotta go see for myself. But she was making noise about baking cookies and making flan yesterday..always a good sign. We have the round of Dr appts on Monday, so I'll be there for that. And do the laundry. And change the bed. All that stuff, that I'm glad to be able to do.

Afternoon, Everyone! Got up this morning and had to go over to my son's house, emergency plumbing fix, he couldn't do it, had knee surgery and hubby and I went over to assist. Me, well, I turned the water on when I was told to and held some kind of wrench thingie for Gregg, all fixed hopefully and I got more Lydia time! Seems pink is her color and I gotta admit, the HK is looking pretty darn cute on her!

Hey Tom and Smack, glad the beer is cold and you got Koffee Melk for your coffee this morning. I was wondering if the plasma's were going to get there on time. Good to hear.

I am actually calm down now, and smiling after seeing who all is here!!

Cynde is up and about!! That is fabulous!!

Jerry, come use my neighbors internet, it's working good today!! VERY FRESH!!

HENRY!!! Ahhhhh, I went to the vet and he has conjunctivitis, a vitamin A deficiency, and I don't even know what else!!! But I am putting ointment in his eyes 2x a day, giving him 1 miniscule drop of Vitamin A-D once a week, shots of antibiotic, sitting in the sun for at least one hour a day. We just finished that and I got some sun too.

It seems that before I got him he lived in such bad conditions, and was already sick, that now he's in TOO clean of an environment and his body isn't fighting this crap anymore. So, WE ARE FIGHTING!! He actually has his eyes open now, I got a new heater and his tank is at 84 degrees right now...but I moved it to the porch and it's over 100 on there right now, so he is warming right up!! BIG SIGH, I know he's a tiny little turtle, but he is so cute and does have such a personality, he looks at me like "thanks Mom, I'm trying...." And I will fight as hard as he is, because that's what we do, right? yes

Debbie, STOP!!! You so did NOT send Plasma TV's there!!???!! Those boys better behave, I have plans for that place in May!!

Hmmm, did anyone hear if Kobi decided to fight Hanna and hit the beach????

Jerry, I hate that when the computer gets bugs! Wish they had a button to click it away, Poof! Now, that would be cool or that button from Staples, you could just press that and it would say, that was easy! Seriously, hope you get the bugs outta there soon.

we got a new motor we got a new motor...yeah! our old one...well, is like 30 years old...i am sooo happy! I will be able to take the dinghy out all by my little self cause i will be able to start it, and maneuver it...old one took about 50 pulls to get going...seriously...and yes, i went out! i am a hurtin' puppy so will go lay down...

Phew looks like it was another great day on Bonaire, and things are going to liven up the next 2 weeks, yes I'm also looking forward to the pictures.

I was well bushed yesterday after my 2:30am session here, but not too tired not to be dreaming about next May, in fact work is very busy here and even that found a place in my dream.

I've just checked out the Bonaire map on infobonaire and to put it into a perspective that you all can understand - If you imagine the distance from Karparta to Invisibles and having to put an amount of webcams that would view every dive site on the infobonaire map(63) plus 26 of the sites on Klein bonaire - that is the project I've just started working on - and in my dream some one was wanting me to do just that on Bonaire too!!!! I had got to the point in my calculations that I would have to spend 4 months of the year on Bonaire doing the maintenance..... when I woke up !!!

oops actually it would only be 16 of the sites on Klein!!!

best I go to work, otherwise I won't be finished by May 09!!!!
