Got home and things were gone but they had no idea what they were stealing...took an antique ring and a crappy 25 cent ring but left some other good stuff.

Good Morning everyone. Here I am in homeroom. My guys are fired up today, as it is student council nomination day. They will vote on Monday. This gives me a little respite, as the senior student council reps are in here talking to them about the role of student council at jr. high. I hope everyone has a great weekend, and a wonderful Friday. My school is having its traditional "Safety Meeting" at our local pub after school today. It's always fun to get everyone out and see them in a different light. Some teachers are way too serious in school. LOL

As for Sardinia - it's all family related stuff, wedding stuff, as for Joel and me time - Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!! Just the 1.5 days in Rome. We got nailed too with Zoom going under and we had to scramble for new flights.

Other than that, life is pretty quiet...

Lucky for him (he can't dive without me) he remembered and drove back home to get me. I almost squirted him for his being sooooo st**id.

Kobi, our resident crab is awal, never saw him, but we got lots of big hermie crabs strutting about. Lets not even talk about what the juvie iguanas did to my bouganvilla bush! It was starting to get more green leaves again before I left, but those little buggers had a party on it, seems there was three of them that wouldn't leave it alone. When they get full grown, they don't bother it. Bette saw it and was surprised at what it looked like, she was lucky to see it when it was in full bloom hanging over the fence when she was there before. Wish I knew something to keep the young iguanas away from it.

Well, change of plans here, Gregg called and wants to close the pool tonight, so I am off to the pool store for pool closing chems. and the store for soda and o.j. run for Brandon.

That Bougainvillea at Debbie's was (emphasis on "was") beautiful. We have iguanas in our garden as well (Tribs has pictures) and they ate all the jung leaves from a bush in our front garden. I don'y know what to do against it,

I dove town pier last night at 10:00 pm and the viability was good - the wind stopped completely last night from 6pm to 9pm and then change directions. There were some swells getting out but there's some great stuff living on those pilings.

I'll take a hug... I got a tetnus/diptheria/whooping cough shot yesterday and I feel like I got hit by a truck. Today I've got a fever and a cough and sore all over. The little voice in my head told me I shouldn't do it but the doc said it would be a good, proactive thing and then I'm covered for 10 years. Uuuuuggghhhhh.
I know, nothing like what Cynde and Jerry have gone through and many others but dang I feel like pooooopy.

Boom, ya, school started, soccer right after school, homework, dinner, bed for my son now, so no time to play in the pool, leaves are coming down here already and when that starts, we close it up. Not worth keeping it open for two more times this month maybe..sad, we don't get much of a summer to keep it open longer. We used to have a custom made tent with big metal frames and all that kept us going for another two months, no leaves, no worries and it also kept temps up 10 degrees from outside, but kids moved away, and it is a big job to assemble all that and we sold it, so now only do the regular season. Though, I think Gregg is closing it a week earlier than usual this year.

Oh My! Boom, sorry to hear about the shot, but a good thing to do. I had one two years ago, 24 hrs of sore, but then a-ok, was glad I got one too as later that year, I stepped on a really rusty nail and it was in deep on my foot. Never had lockjaw, but hear it is not fun.
