Good morning, and God bless you all. My last post on Thursday said Hannah may be our bad joke, but right after that we took ANOTHER lightening strike. My hand was on the mouse, and I got zapped. Both computers went down, my monitor, the router, DSL modum, and all phones...... And we had these massive UPS devices this time. Oh, and no cable.

I went off yesterday to visit my old work peeps, and enjoyed it very much, while John took the day off to deal with the phone company and the computer grave yard! Once phone and DSL was restored, we have one working phone out of 4. He took the computers down to Best Buy - now they're only 2 months old since our last strike, and the tech got my monitor to work, John's CPU to work, and had to replace my CPU with a newer model. So what ever I had on that hard drive...... it's lost again. Back up, back up, back up! The only thing he had to buy was a new router, because our's was fried too. The UPS people are sending us 2 new units to replace the blown ones, and will cover the repair bills (after much paperwork). ARG!

Who sez lightening doesn't strike twice in the same place?

So now I have to rebuild all of my bookmarks, folders, etc....... ARG!

The girls B-Day party was last night, and we all had a ball! The bikes are here, so when I pick them up today, they'll get their present from Grandma and Grandpa! Pictures later!

Gotta go catch up on what I missed yesterday!

It's ugly weather here, ugh!! Last night the girls and I went to wally world with one of Andrea's friends and then to our rainy HS football game, but it was fun...today a picnic at my friends house....wish it was sunny, but I'm just happy to have plans for a change!!

Yea, Bette. I have found myself watching some interesting things that late/early I often watch HGTV and/or QVC shopping. H*ll I can even shop in my sleep LOL!

The Yorkie girls are characters. Bubbles, who is now 9 months old, found her first grasshopper yesterday at work. We were out doing our business and it boinked in front of her and she's like WTF. She'd never seen one before LOL!

Needless to say, he met his demise. She "played" with him until he lost a leg and then he was jumping in circles LMAO!!! OYE.....I finally picked up the carcas and threw it away from her LOL! She's vicious
I am blessed in that the three pups go to work with Rob and I each day so we're constantly entertained both home and work!

Steve, miss you here!!! Yes, the countdown help although 251 days is just WRONG!! I'm turning up the whining to see is Rob nibbles on a trip sooner than next May. Will keep ya posted on that LOL!

Hm, actually, it doesn't make a difference if he's in or not. He doesn't understand the half of what I doing for this company and the other half he's not interested in. He usually leaves me to my job, except from the times he starts a new project. He is quite good smelling out a good busyness but he has no idea how to sell that to the money people and potential customers. So this is where I come in. Yep, next to my regular work.
Now, I have to be honest here. I do love that stuff.

OK, kids, time for us to hit the trails....literally! We're going up in the mountains to ride the dirt bikes! It's foggy here in my part of VA so Rob thinks it cool to head up their NOW so we can ride some of the mountain ridges in the FOG! HUH?! We're taking the new GPS to see what she can do on some of the trails.

If I'm not back by 3 o'clock; then I'm not back LOL!!

Actually today is the first college football Saturday so this chick is going to try to get back in time to watch my Virginia Tech Hokies play later today! We have the DVR set just in case we're late coming off the mountain!!!!

Riding was FUN!!! We got in 25 miles today then my hiney got sore/....LOL!
It's nasty hot and humid here but nice and cool on top of the mountains.

I did see Alvin and the chipmunks again today. I screamed, Alvin stopped in the middle of the trail and then he screamed LOL! OMG, MARTIN GROW YOUR HAIR BACK. Dang, walked into the Sallllon recommended by a friend and was greeted by Rollllllllland (thought I was gonna have to pound my buddy when I next saw him). Anyway, Rollllllllllland paged the Hair Artist that would be taking care of me and the next thing I know standing in front of me was an extremely ho. er, pleasant looking woman name Melissa. Melissa took me into her cubicle, had me sit down then started playing with my hair (had grown over 8") and asked what I would like done. After biting my tongue a bit I said whatever you think should be done. She said I think we should start with a shampoo and off we went into another section, walking past Rolllland who I swear was looking sad. Anyway just a few minutes of her shampooing my hair, I asked if I could return the favor and she said "No silly, you are the customer." what a wonderful talented and extremely kind Hair Artist that Melissa is. Anyway, don't tell W.H.N. but
