Sorry, bad day here guys and gals, there is just so much bad news as of late, I have never ever seen my friends in tears and she came to me to share her bad news and get some support, well I just held on to her and hugged and hugged her. Sometimes, there just isn't words for some things, reality stunk today.

Guess you all look at that HKS as a kind of reality escape? Don't matter. Carry on with it, don't want to say I stand in the way of fun, no matter what one's interpretation of it may be.

Debbie you are a good friend. you know that sometimes there just aren't words and many times words aren't needed. Hugs and hold are exactly what is needed.

As for my escape from reality - well, OK - I have to admit it - it's here on BT...and some of the island real estate pages.

To me - HKS is just silly stuff that someone is raking in the dough around. Imagine one silly little kittie cat as now a mega enterprise.

Boom, I plan on chillin' in the pool, stocked up on wine and rum, my neighbor across the street is going to do my nails (lol, I love having neighbors who do stuff like that!), and right now, Larry isn't home yet and Frances is catching up on politics. We have alot of political conversations in this house, as Larry is a resolute republican, and I'm going demo this time. So, besides yard work, and feisty conversations over wine, looks like a nice weekend shaping up - IN the pool!

I've put us all on a diet, my diet. lol Tonight, braised chicken breasts seasoned and cut into slices, and a loverly salad, with everything you ever wanted in it. Picky people here so the half avacado is ALL MINE.

Deb, good friends who can just listen are the best. I am glad for your friend that you are there. I have a good friend going through a very difficult problem who I talk long distance with every now and then just to be there for her. I think I'll give her a call.

PS - your Tabasco is just tooooooooo cute. And Whoppers are great! Unfortunately I have to cut back my carbs due to this week's blood test results :-( Diabetes runs very strong in my family and my results put me in the pre-diabetes group. Could be worse of course. Getting the test results while I can correct the problem by diet and exercise is a good thing.

Denise sugar free is a good option just watch it in large qty's. It can cause the fuf fuf's LOL! I really shouldn't eat sugar BUT I do. No diabetes in the fam but hypoglycemia; Mom and I have it

I am SO glad to have a long weekend. Rob wants to load up the bikes and hit the mountains tomorrow! I don't have time for that mickey mouse BUT since I'm a good wife I'll make time for hubby LOL!
We'll probably ride in the afternoon; giving more time for the trails to dry out after all our rain. Funny thing is it's better to ride after a rain as it helps with keeping the dust down on the trails! Just not RIGHT after 2" of rain I'll probably have to wear boots instead of flip flops LOL!

I must pack some tomorrow, shop some tomorrow and make sure I have food stuffs ready for the house/pup sitter. So much to do and so little time
