Morning Roy and all BTrs to come. Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday. I'll be out most of the day with spin, medical stuff, lunch with a girlfriend before she moves back to GA, groceries, make a huge greek salad for a friends birthday party tonight and back home.
busy, busy! Just like yesterday at work. I couldn't goof off 'cause I had a huge project that kept me busy all day.

Good Morning Everyone :-)

Roy - enjoy your BBQ :-)
Linda - sounds like you have a full day planned! Have fun at lunch with your girlfriend :-)
Brian - CONGRATS on 4000!!!!!

I have to work too today :-( But hope to get off a bit earlier :-) Freddie & George have organized their annual "Memorial" Dive for friends of theirs who were killed in an auto crash a few years ago. There are always many people there to pay tribute to a wonderful couple whose lives were ended so quickly. There will be a BBQ, Raffle & 50/50 and, of course, the memorial dive at our Ponquogue Bridge.

Have a Great Day Everyone :-)

Hi all!!!

Brain, I am so proud of you:-) For your 4000th post, you don't have to pay taxes this week. Jerry says so.

Linda, thanks for making me drool thinking of feta and kalamata olives this early. I wonder if I can take this bagel and yogurt (why the hell do we eat something that sounds like it has already been eaten YOH----GURT *shamelessly stolen from George Carlin) back to the deli and get a greek salad this early? Hmmm, I wonder if my breath would scare away clients if I did.

Hi Judy, I remember that tragic day. When you see Freddie, give her a kiss and hug for me.

Eileen, Joel and clan are just to the west of me. Do you think I would wake the chillrun if I were to give them a call?

Well today should be a crazy-busy day (glad I wore my Spiderman roos) so, I am off to finish filling all cylinder, armor-all a few orings and spray rental wetsuits with air freshener, I think I will use lilac today - I like lilacs (and to think the people that rent them believe they actually get washed - HA!).

Hope to see you folks later, keep the world safe from those air travelers who fly in "commando" mode and terrorist bonefishers for me - okay?

JERRY, GET YER ARSE TO WORK!!

My guess would be you'd wake the rents, not the kids, but I don't know jack about kids.

We had nice fruit bowls w/ vanilla yogurt for breakfast. Mango, banananana, blooberries and raspberries. I picked the raspberries last night in the backyard.

Hugs to those that need them,; ditto on dope slaps!

Morning peepies!
And a early one it was. I had to be on the airport at 5am (yawn) to pick up guests and realized that Rog & Karen would be on that same Continental flight out.
There they were and after helping them get checked in we had a chance for a final chat because a delay from 1.5 hour. I sure hope they will catch their connection :-(
Anyway, I hope they arrive safely home.
Such a sweet couple. They gave me their "left overs" Now, I don't need to shop for 2 weeks

Morning Everyone!!!!
So the plan was to do a little Openwater Swim this morning.... I've convinced Guy that we should try to do an upcoming Sprint Triathlon. I know the bike (6mile) and the run (2mile) won't be a big deal but truthfully I've never just gotten in the ocean and swam. It's always been in full dive gear. Guy swims a lot but in a pool and he trains a lot in open ocean swims for the Water Rescue Team but doesn't like ocean swimming.
AAAAnywho... the plan was that I would go to the gym and meet him back here (after he got home from work this am) - a convergance one might say. We'd head down to East Beach and just get in and see how we do. Good plan - breakfast afterwards....
Got home from the gym to find Guy sleeping in the big chair in the kitchen nook, Rasta was snoring soundly at his feet :-) I didn't have the heart to wake him.
So, I've got a brisket on the bbq for a slow cook, a Sam Adams (ice cold) for breakfast and my friends 'round the world :-) :-)

Later, hopefully we'll attempt that swim. It's an absolutely beautiful SoCal day here. Very slight breeze, a tiny bit of fog and perfect temps.

Tribs & Becky :-) Have fun!!!
Tom, whaddya mean you don't wash the rentals??
Seb, good to have ya' back :-)
Bette, thanks for being such a welcome committee!

Kaarien & John, hopes and prayers that you're having a GREAT day today
PS, check in when you can

Wonder what Kobi's mom has planned --- How's that yard sale going???? Can you just imagine the poor sap trying to talk our Kobi down a quarter..... sailor mouth!!!!! LOL!!!

Second verse, same as the first! Argh.

But this time, the wind is blowing from the southwest, so we were getting soaked and had to come in. The first raindrops sounded like buckets dumped on us.

Larry did 2 dives at Venice in 3 ft. viz. He's on his way home now, and will have to drive thru this. It's actually, awesome. We have close thunder and lightning tonight. My brother, who has trouble sleeping, said he was going to put yesterday's video on loop to put him to sleep.

:-)

We got our hair done (did?) lol, and my client hairdresser was there all alone, and she did good. Musical chairs with 5 at a time.

OK, g'night all! Love you all and SWEET dreams!

Thunder and lightning and HEAVY rain to you all, as that is what I have. :-)

Eileen :-) "the kidless"?? You mean Kobi and Me??? LOL and as far as calming kids down--- Jack Daniels???? I'm pretty sure that's what my mom used :-)

We had such a great day. We finally made it down to the beach and I had a RUDE awakening.... ocean swimming is HARD!!!! Guy is a good teacher though and by the end I almost had the head-turning-breathing thing down. We're going back tomorrow to try again. There's no way in He$$ I'll be able to swim 500 yards by Aug 22nd though!!!! I really don't think so :-) We spent the rest of the afternoon down there people watching - Guy had much more to look at than I but that's okay... we were at the beach and life was grand!

I forgot to mention that last night I went down to the beach for sunset and there were 3 pods of dolphins feeding just off the shore. There were 2 of the youngest I've ever seen just jumping completely out of the water and having a time :-) It was so wonderful.

Now I've got to figure out a good recipe that includes mint and chicken (I've got lots of both!)

Eileen, glad that you're in CT---- can't wait to hear and see the NE BT Mini Meet!!!!

Hello my kidless buddy LOL! That was funny and does fit us both well :-)

I'm home!!! But my fat arse is dragging and tired. Rylan wore me out as did all the fun I had.
Got down there Friday night. Had an awesome dinner with my Mom, step Dad, sis, Rylan, BIL and one of my Mom's bestest friends; she's a hoot and shares my birthday :-)

Stayed up late laughing and giggling with my Mom; just the 2 of us :-) Saturday AM came awfully fast. Kemper, my Mom's mini Schnauzer wakened me at 6 AM which was good as we had to get to my sister's for the yard sale. I had Auntie duties which included grabbing us biscuits for B fast and entertaining Rylan while my sister, Mom and BIL sold their wares LOL! They made good moolah and they are leaving tomorrow (Sunday AM) for a week at the beach with 2 other couples with small kids. That sounds like a load of fun......NOT!!!

Last night, at dinner, we did gift time as I'm going out of town for Rob's nephew's wedding for my actual birthDAY. I got some nice cards and some not so nice cards LOL! Rylan even signed her own card for me; LOVE IT!!!! My sister and BIL got me something I've been whining about the last few weeks; the gorgeous platinum palm tree necklace I wanted!! Identical to the one from the movie Fool's Gold....LOVE it :-)

Mom gave me the most touching card of all time. She wrote me a note inside that brought me to tears; I LOVE MY MOMMY and my eyeliner did NOT run LOL! :-) Also inside the card was the gift from my Mom. It was a small note that read: Saturday 10 AM, cut, color and highlights at Onyx Salon!! http://onyxhairstudio.com/
My girl, who I spent 3 hours with today, is on the far right; strapless dress with WILD hair LOL!

This is a high end salon back home that is the BOMB!!!
It was THE best salon experience of my LIFE!!! They are RUSK certified and there are currently only 200 salon's certified in the country! I have to brad that my hair looks fab; cut, color, highlights and 10 years off my age :-) Rob's impressed and I'm impressed. I guess I have decided that FORTY is going to be MY YEAR. I needed a dose of motivation to get the OLD ME back and this was it. I'm too busy doing for others and never taking time for myself. That sounds a bit like I'm a do gooder but I'm just saying I need to focus on ME sometimes and not loose sight of taking pride in MYSELF again!

I'm slowing putting myself together; puffy lips, lids, new hair color and style and now the BOD is next :-)

Glad to be home. Hate that I missed a lot today and yesterday on BT.
