I'll be number two! Made great progress on the garden yesterday!

Good Morning Donna and everyone!

This morning I did not want to have a crisis situation with Riker, so he had hotdogs for breakfast...

And I too, have many in my thoughts right now.

Good morning Donna and Eileen. Hotdogs for breakfast - well that's OK. Didn't we used to eat pizza for breakfast? and it's kind of like having sausage for breakfast so it's all good.

After coffee I will have my cottage cheese then a little while later some fresh pineapple.

I have to get my new drivers license this week so I might try to run out at some point this morning and do that. I would have renewed online but I've been waiting for over a year for a new picture so I have to go in. Right now they pretty much have to look at the eyes and the smile to say - yep, that's you.

It's another 10 hour work day too plus a 3 mile walk this evening. But the nice thing is that at least my hubby has the animals all fed by the time I get home. And I don't get home that late - 5:30 or so but it's nice. I'm trying to get in around 6:30 - 7:00 and then I can leave around 5:00 - 5:30.

Big hugs to everyone today - may today be a wonderful day for all.

Summer is flying by!!!! Trying to keep up with the garden is impossible! I always have great plans in the spring to keep up with the weeding & mulching but nooooo other things seem to get in the way :-) So, I'll just slice my way through the weeds to pic the veggies :-) It's fun anyway growing you own stuff :-) :-) :-)
Hotdogs for breakfast isn't so bad, Eileen.....to keep the peace :-) My step-daughter used to eat pizza & pick off all the cheese for breakfast Whatever works!

Have a sparkling day everyone :-)

Hugs for all

Hugs for Everyone

Good morning everybodee!

You're all so ambitious today! Most of our 'returning home' work is done, so I have an unstructured day to myself. John returned to work after being off since the 4th of July! :-( for him.

Hugs to everyone!

Good morning everyone. Yes Gail it sounds like everyone is being to productive this morning. I hope to do the same thing.

I just read yesterdays #3 thread, well part of it, and found out Workout Roy is a windsurfing instructor. I knew he sailed, but didn't know he taught. Roy, you have to teach the scuba girls to sail. :-)
My birthday is in May, too. So I'm working on Terry for a trip to Bon in May to join the BT crowd. We were planning on going to Yap & Palau, but the cost of the trip has skyrocketed out of reach. We'll see.

Good Morning To All

Tuesday and another busy day...seems I can't catch a slow day here of late.

Thinking of those out there dealing with the demons this world gives us, my wish for you is that happiness surrounds you and the demons can not claim victory today.

To the lurkers out there come in and just let us know you are out there.....it would be interesting to have a thread where all the BT folks did a sign in.

To all of you may your day be filled with sunshine and your path be true.

Tom , I hope you enjoyed Sir Elton John (aka Metallica) last night.
My introduction to Metallica was at the Iowa State Fair in May of 1986. I know one of the people who built the stage, lighting and sound systems for all the acts at the fair. Looking back at that weekend I know I should have taken tons of pictures of the acts themselves, but I took more of my friend and the crew setting up the stage.
Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, and a relatively new Metallica were some of those acts.

Good Morning all!!:-)

We had a long nite last nite. That storm just went on and on. Then at midnight my mom called and lightening had hit close by (she said it was a direct hit, but THAT'S MY MOM!!!)...so all the breakers had "blown" or whatever they do. So, G had to go over and get their pump working again. Dad was out in the yard dragging a hose around, saying "there's nothing coming out!!" It wasn't hooked to anything...his mind is gone. But G got them all straightened out. I love him.:-)

Now, I have to get to the bank, go to the Post Office and get my STAINED GLASS from Becky!!! Go to Michael's for a new paint brush. And lots of other running around. Kayla's at M & D's for the day, so she has that covered.

Tom, did you mean to call me last nite??? It was odd...I couldn't make out the song that was playing!!!:-(

JERRY - HA!!! Pam has drove to a lake south of us to spend today and tomorrow with her sister. Of course I redecorated the bedroom. Took the gun cabinet out of my walk in closet and put it where her vanity WAS!!! Took down those silly ***** pictures of the kids too. Welcome back Farah and Bo, I missed you girls:-)

Cynde, the Yamaha concert grand he was playing was black. There were some props but, most of the "stage art" was digital. No one went on stage but Elton signed autographs before the encore and again at the end of the show. Last night's was the first time he had played in Vermont and makes it official, he has now performed in all 50 states. He said that he would be back. Either Stuart or I would probably go see him again if he did.

Good morning all! Interesting thread today. LOL! I have clothes out on the line drying, hopefully they will be fresh!

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

So some storms tore through the area last night. We just got wet but further south and a state over, they got slammed! Wes' parents just sent me these photos of their back yard. I'm still having issues with them moving so far from us. How do we help them when they live in another state?!?! Grrr!!!

storm1 storm2 storm3

Any one else get hit last night?

Hi Jahneen, glad you all got through the storms okay. We got hit last week with straight winds in excess of 70 mph, some damage to farm structures and old trees. Dang parents (Wes') what are they thinking;-)
