haha, still want to find my glasses. I ordered a gold core vest and hood and gauntlet gloves..going down again this weekend. (it was COLD!)
I went to Athens. We dove Sat. then stayed at a little cabin they had there. Built a big campfire and hung out with some divers from Knoxville..We had a blast! Sunday we dove again but we kept it shallow. It was warmer that way, haha.
My dive buddy this weekend is a 'lil rusty so I am trying to slowly work her back into it so she doesn't stress out.
I am trying to get a movie together. Will post it soon...

Don't get me wrong, my boss is a sweet and genuine lady who just needs some time off. She is a very demanding perfectionist who blames her ways on working with lawyers for 20some year. We forgive her for that.

Hi everybody. Linda, I love the little octopus.

Did you guys see on the news about these stupid walking catfish that are taking over down here? After a heavy rain last week, there were about 30 walking thru a neighborhood in St. Pete. We have some in the lake - very invasive, bad fish. They eat all the small fish.

Hi Kathy! Those catfish are something wiggling down the road.

I know where you went Krisspi - you went to Loch Lo Minn - I was telling folks about this place all last week. Maybe we'll go before September. When I went last year it was at the very end of the season. I kept it shallow and long - did the whole outside of the quarry and really took my time - 1.5 hours.

I'm up. I've been up, just not as awake as I'd like to be. Who's idea was it for me to sit in the sun all day yesterday, drinking beer??? Good thing Jerry put us to bed early!!

Krisspi, that's one big big mouth fish. I thought it was a gar or a spoonbill at first, but that didn't make sense. I'll have to look up paddle fish. Very nice video!

Krispi, The paddlefish are also called spoonbill. My ex-husband and his family used to fish for them in the big rivers in Missouri. I had never seen video of them swimming until now.

Cecil I saw her on GMA a while back - truly amazing dog and owner.

I just remembered a funny from yesterday's enchilada cookoff.... I had just colored my hair on Friday and it came out.... well, let's just say 'interesting' I was thinking about re-coloring it but didn't have time, so off we went - with my bright red streaks and splotches in full glory! I had just taken a bite of something when a woman came up to me and said, "I love your hair". OMG!!! I literally choked from laughing. I felt badly about my reaction because I think she was being sincere but YIKES!!! I had to step aside and regain myself. I'm still chuckling about it.

Why is it that the price of gasoline at the pump goes up even at the hint of a storm or a penny increase in oil prices but haven't come down yet after oil prices have gone down.... we must be real idiots... rant off - for now at least...
