We had a night dive crawdad hunt at a local lake, then cooked the little critters up the next day! The dive club here is great fun, even if the water we dive isn't 82 degrees with 100 ft visibility!

What do you do when you cannot dive Bonaire?? Well I should be an expert on that one since I cannot dive and have never been there....for me, this weekend's summer adventure was soaking up the sun on the boardwalk at the Jersey shore with my daughter and going out to eat with her. It was a mini-vacation and I loved it!!

Hope everyone else had a great weekend, too...now it's back to the work week...oh well!!

and...I actually saw some people diving in a lake in a NJ park called "Turkey Swamp"...I think they were training to do water rescue.

I will be MIA today - the fence is nearly complete, just the gates need to be put up - and I have something for now to contain the boys. So I am outside all day, attacking the garden!!!

What to do when you can't dive Bonaire?
I sit around and whine about NOT being in Bonaire As well as check my countdown calendar to see how far away the next trip is.
We do have drysuits and local quarries, in VA, but similar to others, I'm a warm water wuss LOL!

Sometimes my kids and I put our gear on and dive "wrecks" in our pool!! Hilma Hooker and Titanic just a few weeks ago. Visibility was fantastic!!

I cry or whine. I also spend way too much time on BT. I volunteer to be a victim for my LDS' rescue classes. Sometimes I dive a quarry or two - but I really need to get warmer gear if I am going to continue doing that.

I make plans for my next trip.
