Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it.

Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk.. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong; he said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset... He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.



On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior

I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too.' When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.



Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep –



I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

Mom called and my sister called her balling; Rylan fell in the kitchen (hard wood floors all over) and has a knot on the back of her head.

She wants Mom to ride with her to the Doc to check Rylan's goose egg!!! This dam niece of mine needs bubble wrap for her birthday coming up. She's gonna be the death of my sister I just know!!!!! Will hopefully hear more later. I'm 120 miles away from them so I am no help but to just say.....we all fell when we were little!!

Kobi, awe, poor Ryland. It's so scary when they get hurt and are so teeny.

Funny story. On the way to work this morning, the d-jays were on a roll. One told a story of his daughter. She's a preschool teacher, four year olds. On MLK day, she was explaining to them who ML was, and that he was a "silent protester" trying to make change. Then she asked the class of four year olds if they would like to have a silent protest about something in honor of MLK day. After much discussion, it was decided. Now, you would think a bunch of four year olds would want to protest against...oh...box lunches, juice boxes, sponge bob...but noooo....they wanted to protest against BABIES!!! LOL! I guess there is a baby class/room in the preschool. So the teacher got construction paper and went round to each child and asked why they wanted to protest against BABIES. Some said "they are loud, talk to much, babble to much, get all the attention" and so on. So, on MLK day, the class went to the "baby" classroom and stood there for ten minutes silently with their signs....

I swear, that is just the funniest thing ever.

I was kidding about the mods being cranky...well, i'm cranky today...lol...Jerry just wants some HK pastries and I won't let him have them....SNORT...

Ok, now that I've said that, Tampa flooded today. It's been like living in freakin' Seattle this week - all cloudy and rainy and it rains all night long (which is why I keep falling asleep on the lanai, the rain is perfect at night, no thunder or lightening, just steady rain....puts any baby to sleep ).

When I drove home, cars were flooded...I saw a man walking thru a parking lot in water to his thighs, it was just crazy. Police everywhere helping stranded motorists, and storks are everywhere they are not normally.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone! I kid my BFF that it's her fault. Thank Goodness she'll be back late tomorrow night - and wouldn't you know it, the forecast is for sunshine from then on. But she's been in Shreveport, LA, and her mom is in ICU. Kinda sad times. Hard to accept you're going to lose a parent. PS, love ya bunches. It is something we come out on the other side of, I promise you. Just sending love and peace.
