I heard rumors he was going, but you can't always believe everything here. I mean, look at Bob.

On Boom's fires, they look like they grown but not gotten any closer. Her local fire has also grown to a major incident now, so hopefully it will get some scarce resources.

She lives in downtown Santa Barbara so it is very very unlikely the fires could reach her. I know the firefighters are very stressed right now but I do not see (nor do I ever want to see) one of these fires taking out a major city.

siggghhhhhh could not find the frog fish, and my camera got some moisture in it and stopped. I am letting it dry out and put fresh batteries in, crossing my fingers. It wasn't flooded just droplets of water, so hopefully will be ok ???? But, still better than being stuck in Detroit - ha! Surface Interval, getting ready to head out for another dive.

How did the fires start? I really hope they are not manmade and on purpose . I do not get a chance to watch the news much and even if I did, the local station here would just briefly touch on it.

Well now, all these BT'rs on Bonaire and all these BT'rs going to Bonaire and having mini-meets you know where, gosh, and I am over here on the other side! You guys are on a roll. We went to Seru Largu, took pictures, then headed up to Rincon. We ate at the Rose Inn. It was great! The only downside was the obnoxious American group that let their kids run all over the place. We and the proprietress all had to yell at the kids to stop teasing the birds. They were poking sticks in the cage. Ugh! We are going caving at 3:00 with Ann. Can't wait!

The parents probably wouldn't have noticed if you had smacked them! Just as they didn't notice their kids rude actions. Some times I think my DIL is too hard on the girls, but we can take them anywhere and they know how to behave properly.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere! My computer is saying it's 12:20 pm...... Where did I lose 3 hours?

I went out and bought 4th of July food! Pork short ribs, the makings for my potato salad, the makings for my sister's New England style baked beans, fresh cukes, tomatos, and sweet Vidalia onions to marinate in Nakano Rice Vinegar, and a whole watermelon for dessert! Oh and hotdogs, too. What's the fourth without hotdogs! And beer! It's a holiday - hang the calories!
