It's a lot harder than I thought. The main thing is finding the time to actually sit down and go at it.

The other problem is just plugging forward. I have a tendency to go back and rewrite constantly. I over analyze what I have written and change things around a lot. I have been told by my mentor that I need to get the story on paper, THEN go back and play with it.

My group of proof readers will kill me when they see the next revision - last weekend I completely changed the point of view of the narrative. What this means is that most of the first 8 chapters (60 pages) have been rewritten.....

Other than that, it's going great!
