I'm up, as usual. I've been painting for 2 hours already this morning. WHY OH WHY CAN'T I SLEEP???? At least I have something to do!

Hey Eileen!! I'm painting a huge French Angel. It's pretty dang fun painting this big! The canvas is 36" x 48". The angel takes up the whole thing!!

Now, go get that passport so you can go off to "Italia"!! NO KIDS!! Whatever shall you do with yourself??? Don't do that! That's where kids come from!!

I didn't sleep well at all last night...couldn't fall asleep until after 1 and still woke up several times in between...alarm at 5:30...

I can only post pics from my other computer, and it's in the bedroom where G is sleeping. I'm being so quiet out here. I'd love to have some music, much better for painting. G got me the John Denver CD w/ Calypso on it, that's what I want to listen to.

Donna, I was looking at your pics earlier. They are very nice! I love how it looks up there by the water. Beautiful!!

Yeah, I HAD to see water ANY water while up there...it has such a calming effect...just to look at it.

I envy your talent Pegisue and your relaxed lifestyle...enjoy it, savor it!!

Me? Relaxed? I try, but it does take an effort for me to relax. It's really strange how calming painting is for me. I just feel so much better when I have something to work on, and watching it come alive is amazing to me. I have to keep stopping, leave the room for a little while, come back and I just stare at it. It's pretty fun!
I would think that everyone has something like that to do in their lives, something that totally relaxes them, but I don't know. This is all I've ever known. And when I quit painting for all those years, I was a disaster!

It's 7:45 and now I'm falling asleep! 'Bout time!!!
I shall now put the brushes down, eat and sleep for a bit. I'll be back later

Had a fun weekend tho. Went diving at a local quarry. Have a friend that is a new diver(Cindy) and one that hasn't gone in a few years,(Kim) so ......
Went to the reef fest party that my dive club put together...about 75 or so people showed up, I guess. Who knows actually. I was in the pool and drinkin beer. I wonder if anyone counted

We had 2 or 3 bands. Was a lot of fun.

Then Sunday took Kim to the pool so she could work on, well, everything and helped Marcos and his dive masters with the students.
Now thats funny! Surely I was never like that!
One dude took off his fins at the bottom of the pool and just stood there. The he and his friend (friend was finning) were racing. I have a difficult time understanding why people want to stand and walk instead of float when they are learning to SCUBA.
Oh well, it takes all kinds, LOL

Yes, it's Monday .. I am late for work ! Oh no, I forgot, no work today because I AM ON BONAIRE :-) I'd post a picture of view out the sliding glass doors, but I am busy eating my little home made muffins and running out the door to go diving !!! he he he Catch y'all later. Good morning all that have been, and all that are to come. It's bill paying day for me. I have to reset all my bookmarks first. Ugh.

What's with all the rough nights.....? John and I were both awake around 4. It took a couple of hours for me to fall back asleep, And shortly thereafter his alarm went off. While I was lying awake, I was bemoaning all the stuff I lost on my computer - All of my Christmas card labels, addresses for all the nieces and nephews. My Bunko member contact list..... All of the Bonaire address labels from the first year to this past year's.

I'll pretend I'm diving with Denise!

Gail. I feel so bad for you loosing all those digital things in your old computer. I guess I should my important stuff up since we are in Florida and are so prone to lightening strikes.

I forgot to mention that on my way home from work, during last Wednesday's big storm I saw 2 gators in a canal. They were heading toward each other - one much smaller than the other.

This morning during my walk I heard something funny. Turned to the sound and spotted two screach owls on top of a house. Very Cool!!

I missed a good capture on the breath-it cam. How do I do it? I right clicked on the picture and "save picture as", but when I tried opening it there was nothing.??? Do you print screen?

morning all, everyone is busy today! I'm happy cause it's a SHORT WORKWEEK! woohooo! Our BFFs that got married in Jam are coming over on Thursday for the weekend, can't wait. linna called yesterday and said "do not stress about cleaning and blah blah blah, just relax"...she knows me too well...lol...i do need to clear the dive gear out of the guest room. Also hoping we get off work early on Thursday

Brad, looks like great fun! The prices are terrible arent they. B&B circus? Last year they stopped the 3 ring and I was disappoionted in it for the cost. Usually it is quite a show. Guess every one is downsizing...

Linda, it says "at a depth of 15 meters" but I have never dove that site so I don't know...

I used google to convert it in the past and I thought it was more than 2 ft per meter but couldn't remember for sure...I just wish I was there and I would hold my gauge up to the cam, haha

Kristi, yes, I didn't mention the $24 for cotton candy. It included the floppy hats they are wearing. Normally, we'd only get one cotton candy and they would share, but the BOTH had to have hats. We spent about $100 inside and never had a beer. We still thought the show was wonderful.

Sorry Kristi. I only saw the 15m displayed on the pictures. That's a big Duhhhh for me.

We were down a by the Breathe It cam oursleves about an hour or more ago. We passed a huge dive group, going both ways, had to be a boat group. It was a great dive.
