You are always welcome to visit Linda, as are other BTers. Just remember the north of England as well as London. We have three cathedrals, great seaside and a massive aquarium all within 40 miles of our house.
My shout for lunch today, let's make it a bit special. I am cooking partridge covered in bacon with noisette potatoes, roast parsnips and peas. There will be stuffing and gravy of course. Anyone up for doing dessert?

Morning Julia! I would love to see all of those places and the White Cliffs of Dover some day. From everything I read and seen in pictures it is quite a lovely country.

I hope contaigous Cynde is feeling better - she's still asleep I'm sure.

The grandkids had me awake at 7...... but I'm moving slow! One has already put in her order for pancakes and eggs for breakie. The other asked for candy!

Mmmmmm, french toast sounds good! And bacon, ok, turkey bacon?

Julia, what is partridge? I'm imagining like a quail?

OK guys, busy day for us - lots of work before we can play, so all of you have a great day. :-)

Oh, some pics of Venice yesterday. We dove Venice Beach, ate then went to Casperson's beach, down a way. And it was parrot day! Parrots were covering the trees. Nice.

Hi Patrick, R.A., Kimo, BC, Donna, Kathy, Gail, Brian and Elaine.
How's everyone's Sunday going? BC hope you feel better soon. Being sick is no fun especially on your days off.
Kathy, I think you're correct about the partridge. Like a quail or maybe a dove.
Kimo, did you get my link to the Oriskany?

Jerry, I suspected Freddie was your surprise guest. Bring on the pictures!!
Kimo, yes I went to about 120' and Terry to 130'. The second dive we stayed on the "island". That was our wedding anniversary gift to ourselves that year. It was newly sunk - about two months, so you'll see a big difference when you go.

Partridge are game birds too but a bit bigger than quail or pigeon. One pheasant will easily feed two, there will also be soup tomorrow.

partridge

I'm finally done torturing my cat with cleaning noises. Vacuums and brooms are evil, you know.

Elaine, keep us posted - hope Sara gets back with you.

Hi Eileen. I need a fence, too. The neighborhood kids cut through the back yard (we're a corner lot) all the time. Brats! :-)

Later!!

Here are a couple of pics.
Quinn, daddy's helper, notice the safety shoes...1

Here is my husband minutes ago. There is a steady drizzle. We had awesome help on the right side, those neighbours helped with their share, and it was great. Joel is doing the rest on his own. I watch and entertain the kidlets. They want to go outside and help so bad and are very frustrated that they can't! I also provide beer and snacks to Joel :-). I just throw it to him!

HI ALL!!! I'm busy today...Kayla is here and we are doing the sun thing, it is so nice out!! Usually by now it's storming. I'm getting ready to get in the pool and snorkel so I can get more sun on my back. And I'm cooking a roast w/ potatoes and onions and lots of seasonings and Cream of Mushroom soup!! And I've been painting...I think I may go over it again tomorrow, not quite like I want....yet!! Who cares, I'm having fun!!:-)

Eileen, go throw another beer at Joel!!:-)
Donna, I hope you're napping!:-)
Whoever's cooking Partridge's, I hope it's not Danny...can't imagine that would be good!!LOL
Linda, I checked today at Lowes.com, it's cheaper to make a pond than get that "habitat" for the turtle...I think we are gonna do that!:-)
Henry will LOVE it!!:-)

Hi everyone! Kiddos just left to go home with Mommy and Daddy. Time for me to curl up with a good book!

Great pictures Eileen! Putting up a fence is big work!

PS - no rain here yet! I hope you have plenty of sunshine!

Donna - it's Sunday. Leave the dust and enjoy the day!

Same here, almost! Pegi Sue. I had a half day of cleaning till perfect, then shopping, then unloading, then to CVS for prescriptions, and finally, dinner's on (but I make us stick to seafood, chicken or lean steaks for cholesterol, and TONS of veggies), and I think I'm gonna laze in the pool for awhile. My Sunday was stolen by shopping! But, after we eat (and it's almost done), in the pool for sunset.

Oh my, things change July 1st at work. For the good for some beloved coworkers who have promotions, but I'll have to take on more responsibilities until we hire a new counselor. But at least on July 1st, I am FREE to shop again in the afternoons. lol Long month with no shopping! BUT, I have placed 13 people this month in GOOD jobs. They're gonna have to start paying me for it soon, but at least I have the respect for it, so it's OK. I understand when the state is broke, believe me, I understand that!

Let's enjoy the last of this day. Deep breath with a smile. It's all good.

Oh yeah, Kimo, that was a lame take yesterday. We usually get more than that, because we usually do two dives, but not yesterday as the viz was so horrible. It's good on the bottom, but 5 feet away I couldn't see Larry or he me, except for a dark blob.

The big meg and all the petrified wood, vertebra and all are his, mine is the smaller catch, because I was taking pics (but most were bad, so I didn't bother you guys with them), AND I don't pick up anything but teeth. But he also got a prehistoric whale tooth last dive. :-)

Thanks for the turtle tip PS. When George is done building Henry's pond, send him over. :-D

I just got back from chores and the local dive shop. I picked out a nice back up light for Terry and replaced my primary light with an Ikelite C-lite 8. It was on sale for a song - hope it is a good light. I ruined my little Nemo on our trip to the Bahamas last year.
Terry is going to love his little Intova.

I washed my truck at the car wash and came home to wax my Baby. After jumping in the shower I noticed my hands were beading up. Just hope the truck does the same.

Thanks Freddie. That's a lot of miles, but well worth is. You passed neat my first "old stomping grounds" in MA. I was born in Natick and lived in the tiny town of Millis. We did lots of weekends in the Blue Hills, Cape Cod, Rockport ect.

Yes I did Freddie, We stayed at the Super 8 which is right near there. We were in MA visiting Marc's Aunt and Mom and Battleship Cove is the ONLY place we went during this short trip other than visiting family and to the store. I have been there many, many times over the years. Fall River is where Marc grew up. My kids used to ride the carousel every year when they were little....memories.....
