Hi Patrick! I'm only in for a quick minute today, gotta get all my "ani-mules" situated then I'm heading off to spend the day with friends. We'll see if today can be more interesting than yesterday.

I was putting a new screen in my sliding patio door yesterday with a friend, and we heard something under the deck... I instantly thought "critter" (hoping for opossum or raccoon and NOT skunk - please not a skunk under my deck). Well, when the little critter wandered out it was a FERRET! No joke, a ferret was under my deck.

Now, I live pretty rural, there are only 6 houses on my road and only one within 250 yards. I have no idea where this little guy came from, but since he was hurt I took him to my clinic and he's now being treated. Nothing broken but lots of wounds. Looks like he was attacked, maybe by something like a raccoon or even a hawk.

I guess it's always an adventure

Patrick, if I'd have thought anyone would've been on here that early I'd have talked to ya!! I've been up for hours!! Just like last Saturday...luckily I don't have BOB still or he'd be posin' with the "Goat Bladder of Wine" again!!LOL
Instead I was playing with MY turtle, Henry!! I had him a few weeks ago, taking care of him for Kayla's boyfriend. Well, then they wanted him back and I was NOT happy!
Yesterday Kayla called and said that Dan said I could have Henry back and keep him!!
I'm so happy! He's so little and cute and needs to be taken care of right. So, today he'll get some sunshine again!
Timmmy, if you're out there, tell Angela I got Henry back!!

Bon dia, mi amigos!! Sunny and warm here in NJ. The cats are in the window next to me checking out the birds, the squirrel and the chipmonk all chowing down on seeds.

I'm a lawbreaker....it's actually against the Law in our township to feed the wildlife! Get real!! Come get me and find me $500.00...just try it! LOL.

Love to watch the critters all interact...meaning the critters on the outside of the screen checking out the two critters on the "inside" of the screen. So cute and funny.

Mr. Squirrel is brasen (sp?)....he just moves in closer and stares at us and then continues to chow down. Cute as a button.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday! Poor Joe is off at work this weekend. We'll hit the pool when he gets home as it is hot today.

We shut everything down last night! We have a renewed healthy respect for Mom Nature! We just sat out on the porch and watched the wind whip the trees around, and watched the rain pour down.

I'm going to call a repair guy for the washer - The set is only about 6 yrs old, should get another 10 years from them.

New rant. The printer wasn't fried. It's a HP Photosmart..... and HP does not support Windows Vista, so we don't have a printer driver..... We can print off Danielle's computer, but John can't get the DSL to work on hers, Grrrrrrr.... It's just getting too complicated...... Rant off.

I have about a hour to relax before I need to head out to the closing ceremony for VBS..... It was a good week. I enjoyed the toddlers!
