Hello! Just got around to check in here, we are okay with the fires but we have had a terrible smoke cover for the last 2 days!

CB had to go see her mom, keep your fingers crossed everything turns out well. Her mom lives alone and has been not feeling well and experiencing dizziness. CB doesn't have access to a computer so if I hear anything I'll let everyone know.

Kobi, Guy can't take statins either. That's why his cholesterol got so high again (it had been over 600 at one point). The Niaspan has been really good for him and the doc says he can still double the dosage if need be to get the level lower. I know there are a few people on BT with cholesterol concerns -- that's why I shared his success!!

Speaking of which I finally have health insurance.... what a friggin racket that industry is (sorry if that offends anyone but OMG!!!) I would hate to see what it would be like if I were not healthy. As it is, one company rejected me because I had NOT gotten my thyroid removed --- even though it was utlrasounded and deemed healthy with medication.... the second has accepted me but at 25% higher rate. Lesson learned-- don't ever let your health insurance lapse. Even if everytime you go to the doctor they say "You're Boring" (that's what my doc always said to me--- nothing to report) Sheeesh --- I'm healthy!!! arrggghhh....

Tara, SO glad about G's success. Not sure where my numbers are, at present. Last check over a year ago it was right under 200 so doc was OK with that BUT C reactive protein levels were high; that shows inflammation. It's a test that's new enough nobody knows what the dam numbers mean though...LOL! I'm like uh my backside and my mid section are INFLAMED so I'd assume that's where the high number comes from?!? LMAO
Glad you secured insurance. I am in the process of renewing our corp./group insurance and don't get me started on that rant LOL! Our ins. was going up over 39%!!! Unacceptable & OMG is right; it's crazy. I will be keeping the same carrier but a different plan to help keep costs down for all of us! I pay the majority of my employees coverage BUT most small biz's can't pay it all.
