I'm so bummed! The wind in horrendous right now and there are small craft advisories. I don't think it is going to happen. Hopefully Ann will see this thread and post.

The winds are horrible! I got smacked down hard today on a shore dive. I'm gonna be purple for a while. It was a smack down tsunami wave. LOL! Last I heard the paddle is off.

Pegi, you could see the take off of the kayaks on www.bonairewebcams.com. Alas, I did not go. Elvis and I decided that due to the Small Craft Advisory (www.meteo.an) and the upwind situation, we could not paddle safely. Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) is standing on a board much like a surf board, balancing and paddling. It is very challenging in normal conditions let alone small craft. I am disappointed. I hope the 13 kayaks that went out did so safely and are having a fun time. The winds are howling about 22 knots right now. We will see this kind of wind for the week I feel. SUPER for windsurfing. I am not sure this is ok to post but there is another webcam for windsurfing where you can see another image. Yesterday I sailed a 4.2 meter sail (small) at 7:30 AM and the a 4.0 meter sail at 5 PM. It was the perfect conditions for a high wind sailor for which I am.

Sorry you couldn't head out, Ann. Sean read the forecast this afternoon on air and there is a storm system off in the distance causing the high seas and winds right now. Possibly for the rest of the week.

My dive buddy today used Wannadive for tanks and we were there when a boat was towing in one of the paddle boarders. I'm guessing the seas/winds were just a bit too much.
