Patrick...you will love this one. I had the misfortune of speaking to an underwater videographer who is a "know it all." He was telling everyone on the beach (at Angel City) that he has dove over 3000 times this year (that would be over 450 dives a month) and has never seen a shark on Bonaire. (He works for an underwater photo company here on island.) He told me that I saw a moray eel and not a nurse shark. LOL! And, that all IDs on sharks are incorrect. What a dufus! I hate people who fib to puff themselves up. What is even sadder is that there was a family with him that was just lapping up everything he said.

Same here. You should see the looks on my students' faces when they hear I scuba dive or that I've hiked and camped out in the Grand Canyon. People just make assumptions and they are usually wrong.

Ok...I have to go see Ann. Bye for now!

Morning Patrick, Tribs, PegiSue and all to follow. I saw young sharks on Bon - over at Klein - on our last trip. They were so cute!!! Only about 3' long and perfect.

PS, Will you be posting pictures on line Friday?
Patrick, When does your flight come in?
Tribs, Will you be on Bon when Patrick is there? Pet your furry roommates for me, please.

Have a great day - I have a mailing to put together. I'll be back to peek in from time to time.

Talk about pre-judging people. You should have heard all the "advise" I used to get when windsurfing. Oh the wind is too heavy for you - You couldn't possibly sail in 20+ knot winds. So I would quietly rig up my equipment and KICK those boys A33S!!!!!

Good morning everyone!

Patrick popped my bubble! I was lying in bed thinking that it's Tuesday, and of the the things I'm going to do today, and I look here and it's Wednesday already..... Where does the time go!?

That's a good one Tribs! On one of our trips, we had the "know it all". He told us from the start that he was happy to be diving with an experienced group of divers, because he was so tired of all the novices trying to get free advice from him, being as he was so experienced. First giant stride in, and he lost his mask, weights, slate, and all kinds of other stuff falling off of him! One of the guys in first, stayed under him catching all of his stuff! We all had a good laugh after that one!

No more talk about the MM! :-( Not only do we have Kira's dance recital on Saturday, but another graduate party Friday night, and a planning meeting for Vacation Bible School on Sunday afternoon! (Why do I volunteer for so much??!!)

I have 6 things on my todo list so far..... Most important food for the Captain Chaos, secondly a hair cut.... I hope I have enough hours in my day!

And keeping an eye on BT CC.

Too bad you're missin' the MM!!!!!LOL

Morning *Brad*. At least you got to go to the ball game. That's most of the fun for me. I love to go and make noise, watch the people in the stands and munch on the junk food. Is your stadium an outdoor stadium? Ours is an OLD indoor stadium, but I like it. We get protection from the thunder storms - no rain delays.

OMG, you guys are on fire already...lOL! I can't wait to see pics of the MM. If we hadn't gotten back from Jam, i would have seriously considered it.

Gail. "little man syndrome"....LMAO...I won't tell you what the most popular Medical Dictionary Term is viewed on our website...teehee....

Patrick, hope you are feeling better...

"know it alls"....UGH...Gail, love the diver story. In Jam, Michael found this creature that no one could ID, even the DMs. A "discover scuba" student, who just had his first dive said "it was a crab"...uh...NOT...that's like the photo guy saying Tribs shark was an eel...I wanted to ask him just how many dives he had under his belt and how much se life he'd seen and ID'd...uh, that would be ONE DISCOVER SCUBA DIVE IN 30 FEET OF WATER!...

Where's Jerry and Kobi????

Any deadlieset catch fans? watched 3 hours last night, poor michael, that's like making him watch Love Actually with me for the like...100th time.

Kids growing up...too fast that's for sure. Enjoy them for every moment (well, the teen years are not so enjoyable sometimes...lol)...

Linda, you got that right, I would be peeing my pants every five minutes. It makes me feel better about our trips to Catalina when the weather is rough, I think about those guys...geez. I guess capt phil was coughing up blood in the new episode coming up on tuesday, can't wait to watch and see what happened (he mentioned it on the "after the catch" last night, so we know he's ok. and those guys smoke cigs like there is no tomorrow...tough tough tough work.

Kristi, good for her...I think its great to keep kids involved in our nation's past time.

We took our kids last night, but were in the outfield, so it was hard for them to see most of the action. Thompson definitely lost interest.

BC, it only sounds hot. It's not really that bad...it's a dry heat! Yeah, that's it, it's a dry heat!
