Morning Jerry and Cecil. Just got back from walking two miles and it is already getting too hot to be outside. Found a route this time of morning in the shade and even that was hard in this heat.

I was pleasantly surprised this morning to temperatures in the upper 70's for my morning walk. We had some thunder boomers last night. I guess that's what made it so nice this morning.

Good morning early risers! I haven't decided how to spend my day today. It's too hot to do much outside, but I really need to hit some weedy areas with Roundup. That shouldn't be too strenuous.....

One goal is to make it to 3000 posts. I can probably meet that goal.

I'm waiting for our dive goddess extrodinaire to come by and drop off our regulators..... she has them serviced for us at a place she really trusts. Since she sold her shop here, we've not established a rapport yet with anyone local. Once she comes and goes, I may venture out to kill the weeds.

I am freezing here at work. I don't know if the A/C system is being tested or what, but I'm afraid if I go to the bathroom I'll stick to the seat.

Hi all!! I've been lurking off and on...more off because I've been trying to find somewhere that G and I can go CHEAP...we want to use travel vouchers we got from AA last July...Turks & Caicos is VERY CHEAP!!! So, we may go to Salt Cay sometime later in the year...Or this could change tomorrow, so far it has changed everyday!! Someday we will go to all of the places we have talked about in the last week!!

Good morning everyone! We had a good weekend camping! We took a 60 mile ride in our Yamaha Rhino, and saw deer, elk, squirrels and coyotes!

Good Morning everyone! Just came back from my walk with the kiddos - have to take them outside at least 1 a day - wanted to take them before it is too HOT - but wow -it's hot! I feel for those construction workers out there - wearing jeans and workboots pouring concrete... In the winter - it's too cold - spring too muddy - summer too hot - here's hoping for fall!!! LOL!!!

Kristi - You're doing a good thing for her. Colorado is a beautiful place, and it's nice that she still has a relationship with her father.

I just had a great bagel with a little more cream cheese that I should have..... but it was GOOD! I used to work for Lender's Bagel Bakery when I went to college in New Haven, Connecticut. That was before they even marketed their frozen bagels. They had their one main bakery and a little satelite bakery in the Crown Supermarket.

OH the workers, that was the real reason why I went out!!! Young guys with muscles... it would be nice for them to take off their shirt, but trust me - they didn't need to!

The week starts beautiful here. Again a busy week for me but ....hey....busy is good right? :-))))))

We had a most amazing day yesterday.
In the morning I was the Beach Mom, with parero (colorful wrap) and all. the only thing missing was my floppy hat :-))))))). We went to Andrea II. Jos and Tribs made a dive and me and Marein (little man) went snorkling. Then for lunch to China Nobo (3 x Roast and 1 x Sweet & Sour chicken). Good and cheap.:-))))) Then off to Corporal Meiss for my turn to dive with Tribs and this time Jos was the Beach Dad.
Man, it must have been the biggest of anything day yesterday. Tribs and Jos saw loads of turtles, even one with a huge Remora attached to it and Tribs and I saw the biggest Flounder you've ever seen, loads of Morays, tons of cleaner shrimps and a big Barracuda.

Our dogs have to be under control and that means that if they behave they can go off the lead. The canal is a great place to let them off as there is fence one side and the canal the other so they stay on the path. We are working on Paddy's recall and he doing ok so far.

Brian, I see in the pub pic that Sue is holding Paddy's leash. If I let Chaos off his leash, he'd be in the canal as fast as his little legs could take him! And we'd have to find a way to haul 95 pounds out of the water. We've been working on recall for a yr and a half..... but once that boy is free he just wants to run!
