Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a great weekend! I finally found the cord for my camera and thought I would post a few pic's of my Grandmother in Kansas. She is 89 and as fiesty as ever!

Lydia, is one beautiful lady!!! Seems that she passed her looks and smile to the younger generations too.

Thanks everyone so much. I am very proud of my Grandma, she is a very strong matriarch. Her history is amazing and is so sad to see it all coming to an end.....
I want you all to know that my BT family is so special to me. These last few days I have been busy with BOB and can barely keep up with him and Annemarie let alone getting on here and trying to catch up. I find myself wondering during the day what y'all are up to, I look forward to hearing about all of your days and your families' happenings! Thank you all so much for letting me be part of your family. It is an honour.

Your Grandmother has one year on my mother, who is also going strong....living alone and driving her little red car to Trader Joe's. I hope I grow up to be just like them!

CB, thats great your mother still drives! Grandma recently lost her license and had to move from Hays to Salina to be near my aunt. It had been difficult for her. She had to leave everything she was comfortable with...

What wonderful pictures! Your Grandma shares the same name as my granddaughter. Lovely woman your grandma is and love her name! You will have to have a big bash for her 90th b'day! Sorry to hear she doesn't drive anymore, but she looks like a real strong lady and can handle what life throws her way!

Debbie, Her name is actually Lidwina...I only recently found that out. I like Lydia much better!
