MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!! NO!!!! She's just a baby!!!
Well, here is Olivia at her graduation tonite. I was extremely proud of her. She was very beautiful, and poised, and OLIVIA!!!

I've never met her "boyfriend" but have heard about him...I see this kid walk in tonite and I tell the people next to me "Oh, he looks like trouble!!" Yep, that's her boyfriend!!!!!

It was a real nice "Graduation". It was at the middle school in the auditorium, so they got a small taste of the new school. It was weird, that is the same school I went to when I first moved to DeLand!! Now, she's there!!! I cryed when she got her awards.

She's liked that boy all year!! He comes walkin' in wearing that suit and red shirt, with everyone else in white shirts and ties!!! He just looked like trouble... When he got one award they called him "Elvis"!!!! She thought he was "SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!" OH STOP!!!!!

I am very proud of her. I didn't know what awards she was getting, but when they said "Art" I got up to the front, fast!! A mom just knows these things!! And she's just like me, so I knew!!

Which one is the boyfriend - the blurry one or the one in the suit/red shirt? Blurry Boy is always on the move - keep an eye on that one. Suit with Red Shirt Boy wants to stand out from the crowd - could be a good thing.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments!! I just cherish my O!! She was the tiniest little thing, with bright red hair and NEVER cried, she was alway happy. She IS always happy!! Last nite was just hard, because she is growing up so fast...Eileen, if I find that button I will let you know!!!! I've been looking for it for 20 years now, and there's just got to be a way to slow them down. Until then, we just have to treasure every second with them and have our memories. That way, when we are alone at nite, we can cry over how sweet and beautiful and wonderful everything was/is, and how we miss holding them when they sleep all snuggled up on our chest. The way they smell. Slobbery kisses. Handprints that I hated cleaning off the walls, because to me, they were art! Now they would be such special markings of where they were and what they did. Ahhh, I'm gettin' all sentimental here. But, it's all good. I'm so lucky to have the memories that my children have given me.

PS, great pics. Wow, what a cutie. We just gave out all our academic and personal awards today at school. I love handing them out, because each kid comes up glowing.

PS presents are good. He's a keeper.
