I definitely missed ya'll It's been crazy busy lately - lots of things in the fire.
The best of which is my BFF and her adorable kiddies are coming to visit this weekend!!!! Today I played hooky to get the house ready, wash Rasta and plan our food!

10 men and 1 woman.
The rope was not strong enough to carry them
all, so they decided that one had to leave,
because otherwise they were all going to fall.
They weren't able to choose that person,
until the woman gave a very touching speech.
She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because,
as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her
husband and kids or for men in general, and was
used to always making sacrifices with little in return.

all the men started clapping

Today he's turned the corner. Finally for pete sake! He's still coughing but not as productive which is a good thing I guess Feels OK so praying this is the end of that! I don't want it for sure and so far so good.

Tribs, that thought crossed our minds and the doc's too but don't think it was a Caribbean Crud. We were both overly tired when we got home but traveling there the last few times my tail was dragging way behind me all the way home and into the first week back...LOL!

Back from my shopping spree --- we must have $$ I still have checks
I found the cutest stuffed animals for the kids at Cost Plus World Market. We don't have a formal guest bedroom so we use an air bed when we have company but my friend has a really bad back. Soooo, we're setting them up with camping pads, sleeping bags, tons of pillows and blankies.
Got a couple of bottles of wine, ginger beer, lemonade and limeade to make frozen pops, and assorted goodies

OH and.... this Saturday is our annual Big Dogs Parade AND Cesar Millan (the Dog Whisperer) is the Parade Marshall!!! I'm so excited I should have some really fun pictures from that outing
