Morning Krispi! And all to follow.
During my walk in the dark this morning I noticed the remnants (a bunch of plants)of a yard sale on the curb in front of this home. On my way back I stopped to check out the plants to pick up later. Remember it's 5:30 am and dark. Then I noticed something white move. On the curb - exposed to the elements - with or without water an food are two small (but not baby) white rabbits. I tried to check their water but could not see in the dark. I pulled up grass and feed them, and made a mental note of the street and house number.
I am so mad at these people!!!! I'm waiting to get through to the humane society now, and just had to vent.

OMG Linda...should have taken the bunnies...poor things.
OK...this weekend I had sooo much fun you guys!
(although I missed a great party here fri nite) I met a friend in nashville and went dancing on Music Row. What a kick. We hit some honky tonks down ion broadway also. Timmmy, If you guys are here for the 4th, we'll have to go downtown and party!

Krispi, I thought about picking them up, but I was walking and had 2 more miles to go - then off to work. They are in the shade this morning, and I was a nasty person and did a reverse search on the address and called those people anonymously. I asked them if their bunnies had any food or water and are they in the shade. The woman sounded shocked that someone had their number and just stammered.
I have been trying to contact someone at the Humane Society all morning. No one answers, but I'm sure that they are busy feeding the animals now. I plan on calling all morning until I get through.

YES!!!!! I finally got through to the Humane Society and they are sending out a driver to pick up Thumper & friend. I just can't fathom some "people's" thinking (or lake of).
I'm off my soap box.

Linda...I could tell you stories that would make your heart break. Some people just don't respect life in general.

I just got an email from the dive shop in St. Eustatius...I think maybe a trip later in the year for us...trying to talk G into it!! I think I have got this place under my skin now!! The email was so nice and friendly. Sounds like a fun place and great diving!!!
RosAnne, I think things haven't changed too much there in the last 19 years...they said we don't need to rent a car. Everything is right there near the hotel and dive shop...Very few hotels, very quiet. But beautiful!!

We survived the move...now I just need a few weeks to get this stuff organized in this house!!! Looks like a hurricane went thru the Caribbean then came here and puked!!!! I have flamingoes, dolphins, stuff, EVERYWHERE!!! I'll get it organized, one day!! Today I have some serious running around to do, to tie up loose ends...but I just poured my coffee and I like sitting here, enjoying it!!

Oh, not kidding, you should see it!!!! Good thing we sold a lot of the big stuff!! Every room in this house has a big ole bird, or something!! At least I have painting on my walls again!! All this time I've had NOTHING on the walls...everything was down there.
Well, I guess it's time to get going...I gotta get the rest of this done and get to my mom & dad's...things aren't lookin' too good over there...I'll put an update on that later...to sad to talk about and I don't wanna bring everyone down.

Morning all My aren't we busy!

Linda, thank you for taking care of the bunnies. We had a next door neighbor move years ago (they were renters) and they left their bunny, in the cage, in the back yard! I was furious! We fed it and took care of it until we found a home for it. I just don't understand abandoning animals. It is so easy to find homes, or take them to a good shelter...

By the time I refresh this, you all will have posted a bunch more, so hi to everyone...lol...

Brad, nice pics. Next time we come out to see the kids and grandkids, we need to hook up. Although, won't be until after summer, I hate th heat...lol! they plan on coming over here in July so we can take them to the beach. funny, Sarah grew up here with us, and she now says she could kick herself for hating going to the beach, boating, all that stuff when she was a teenager...lol...she was a brat then...lol! "gosh, we have to go to the beach AGAIN???? I HATE the boat"...lol...

Okay: We were dining at the Ribs Factory (yammy yammy) and as this usually ends up in full faced BBQ sauce smiles, the boys ran down to KFC to get a few of those wet towels KFC gives out. Well.....a few turned out to be a whole bag of those, so now we can wipe what ever for a whole month I guess.
